This was our 2nd trip to this property. We enjoyed it so much last year we decided to come back. Great house! We like that there is a yard for our dog, everything you could ever need to cook a meal, a grill, an awesome deck with plenty of chairs to relax in and a nice firepit area. Definitely recommend!

This is our second time staying at rocky bottom ranch and will definitely be back! The place is always clean and the owners are easy to communicate with. We love that we got to bring our pup too!

This cabin was located right on the edge of town across the street from a Dollar General, making it super convenient. However, it still has a very private feel and lots of outdoor space. The fenced in yard for our dog was such a perk. The owner is super responsive as well, which is so helpful. I am so glad I found this gem. I will definitely be booking with Russell Properties for my next Eminence stay! Highly recommend!

The cabin was absolutely perfect. It had everything we needed, and it was great to be able to use the kayaks instead of renting. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed grilling our dinner every night. Highly recommend and can't wait to come back!

My family and I stayed for several days in honor of what would have been my dads 65th birthday. We couldn't have had a better time. The cabin is so charming and close to town for everything you could need. Although it's close to the road, there is minimal noise as it is pretty rural. We loved sitting on the wrap around deck watching the birds and listening to the whippoorwill's in the evening. The cabin has everything you could need - I would love to go there in the winter for that wood stove and a fresh snowfall! Emily was an excellent host and communicator. We would recommend her cabin every time!

Host Emily was very friendly. She responded quickly to my messages. We had no problems. Cabin was very nice. Lots and lots of room for two adults, large wrap around porch, good kitchen and bathroom. Comfy chairs. Good set of dishes and kitchen appliances. Lots of coffee pods and a good coffee maker. Beds were comfortable. When we come back, this will be a top choice. Thank you Emily.

Thanks for a lovely visit.

Very conveniently located to Eminence and surrounding attractions. On paved road but situated far enough back to limit road noise. Well appointed house with an amazing porch to extend living space. Communication with the owner was easy, concise and very pleasant. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Great place and great property managers. The wraparound porch is wonderful for a night of grilling. The views around the property are nice as well. 5 minutes to several food places and grocery store. Will stay here again in the future.

Whether you’re planning to canoe, kayak, fish, or visit the nearby natural attractions, this country home is right across from Dollar General on the outskirts of Eminence, so if you forgot something, you can just walk across the street, and you’re just minutes from the restaurants and rivers. We had a great time, and grilled every meal.

My husband and I took our 2 adult children with their significant others and family dog. Eminence is just beautiful country. We got our ATV permits in advance, and enjoyed riding the many trails. We visited Alley Springs and Rocky Falls. We also spent a day on the river bank while the kids used the kayaks. The house has everything and more. Lots of extras. Love the wrap around deck and fenced in yard. I was afraid the (adult) kids would not be comfortable with the bunkbeds and sofa sleeper, but the fun they had out weighed any discomfort. Loved the privacy and convenience of the location. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Rocky Bottom Ranch was absolutely perfect! We’ve stayed at many cabins for our river adventures & this one was by far the cleanest. It is conveniently located within minutes of river outfitters, state parks, restaurants, & shopping. The covered parking was a wonderful bonus. We’d recommend RBR to anyone & everyone!

This place was wonderful!!! So quiet and peaceful and super clean. I'm usually leery to go barefooted in places I stay, but this place was extra clean!! The house is loaded with indoor/outdoor games, children's dishes, laundry, pots, pans, margarita glasses, river towels, you name it, they have it. I was amazed at everything we found there. They even included a very thoughtful welcome basket!!!! The area was quiet and cozy and also conveniently located to Dollar General, without interfering with the cabin experience. Tons of outdoor seating for s'mores and enjoying morning coffee. The decorations are perfect and updated - my 13 year old loved it, inside and out. Emily went above and beyond with any questions we had and made check in a breeze. They also have a binder that includes places to see, eat, and bugs and wildlife in the area. I would definitely recommend them and would love to return. All of the extras made our trip a breeze! Thank you!!

This is the perfect place for a quiet family getaway. Our family loved the location and the cabin had everything we could have needed. Our kids had a blast playing in the creek outback as well as cooking smores over the fire in the fire pit. We also brought our four legged travel companion for the first time and the fenced yard was perfect to let him run and play. The hosts were friendly and responsive. We will definitely be back and recommend to all our friends and family.

We had a great time while in Eminence MO at this home. Everything was first class! I am an avid birder and was delighted to see eastern bluebirds, American goldfinches and indigo buntings in the first 30 min in the backyard gazebo.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at the cabin. Will definitely stay here again. Lots of amenities. Kids loved the ping pong table and side yard to play outdoor games. Also played the board games that were available. Made s’mores in the outdoor fire pit. Was a nice surprise to arrive to the thoughtful welcome basket with the s’mores fixings. 😊 We also had our fairly large dog with us and it was great to be able to relax and let him run around the fenced yard. Overall was a great getaway.

Great location, right off the main highway but very quiet. The space was well furnished and the smores basket was a nice treat. Since the weather turned cold on us we especially appreciated the game closet. All enjoyed some much-needed family time.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The floors could use more attention in cleaning, particularly the rugs in the bathroom. All in all it was a very nice place.

My husband and I agree that this was one of our favorite rental experiences.
Everything was even better than described in the listing. The location was (almost) perfect for us; the only thing that could have made it better would have been if Dollar General turned their lights off at night so we could have had an even better view of the night sky for star gazing. With that said, we still had an amazing view from the back of the property & laid outside on our sleeping back and saw some falling stars.
The fenced in front & side yard was perfect for our dog to run and play. We really appreciated being able to let them off leash in a secured area! The wrap around porch even had extra gates which helped further contain the pups.
Speaking of the porch, it was well-appointed, with lots of chairs to choose from. We enjoyed sitting outside in the mornings with our coffee & breathing on fresh air while watching the birds flit around.
The back yard was awesome too. There was a gazebo with another table & chairs, as well as a fire pit. If you go down the hill, there were a couple of swings hanging from the tree (down by the creek) near a convenient picnic table. (Just be cautious of the acorns on the ground when you’re walking down the hill.)
The inside of the house felt much bigger than 900 sq. feet. It was clean and very well-appointed. We enjoyed the extras, like the Keurig, s’mores basket & supplies to wash and dry our laundry (a lot of places we’ve stayed don’t provide the laundry items, so we really appreciated that)! Also, there’s lots of board & card games in the closet…and they even have outdoor games in the basement (ping pong playing material & croquet).
It was very convenient to be located across the road from Dollar General; they had a good amount of extras, including some fresh produce. Plus the owner mentioned in advance that some renters have told them that their GPS takes them to the wrong location, so we just plugged the address for the Eminence Dollar General into our gps & had no issues.
The main bed was very comfortable & there are lots of extra blankets if you need them. We didn’t use the bunk beds, so I can’t speak to their comfort.
You can get to almost any of the beautiful local nature sites within about 20-30 minutes drive, which was awesome. There are also some cute shops in downtown Eminence.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience & hope to visit againsoon!!
