Stepping outside the door is a large deck where you will enjoy those beautiful sunsets that glow across Douglas lake. This level has the main living area, open kitchen with a large island so the entire family can congregate and enjoy making meals together, a king master suite with a gorgeous walk in shower and soaking tub , a half bath and the laundry room. With the living area having 2 story ceilings the already large space feels even larger. Wait till you experience that massive fireplace, grab a book and a hot cup of something to drink and you will melt away, or you can all stop to relax and enjoy family.
On the lower level is a Queen suite so the other couples have lots of privacy as well. This space has a large living area with those amazing Smoky Mountain area views as well. There is a sleeper sofa here for someone to enjoy as well. If you're ready for some action there is a gym to use with a treadmill, weights, and a bike. Not very clean. Deck areas had dead plants in flower pots, beer cans and cigarette butts. Ceiling fan on porch had broken paddle. Wasn't inviting like pictures looked. Lake view was beautiful. Location was good. I wouldnt rent it in the future tho.

Property was clean and great! View was beautiful! Lake access is a little difficult due to the amount of steps. Only downfall/issue was we had no internet/ TV out entire stay. This made things a little difficult with our group dynamic. Although there was communication regarsing the incident the day we were to arrive, I somewhat expected a slight refund due to the property not having all that it offered.

Property is beautiful. Needs some upkeep outside but the views are stunning. We did have to get used to the sulfur smell in the water and it never went away. Water was too low to use the dock, but that’s just Mother Nature. We rented a pontoon twice during our stay and loved it. All in all a wonderful family vacation! Thank you!

The house was nice great location. Could use some deep cleaning. Had some issues but they responded and sent someone out to work on them

We had a great time with family at this place. Close to all attractions and restaurants

We had 5 young ladies who wanted a spring break/senior trip. The house is wonderful. Plenty of room to sit and play games and very quiet when you want to nap after a day of sightseeing. We had an awesome time and I look forward to going back.

The place was beautiful. The lake was low and wasn't able to fish. Wish there had been televisions in the bedrooms but the one in the living room wouldn't let us watch anything but the Grit station. We tried using our own streaming codes but it kept saying "no internet"

Overall we really enjoyed the property. A few minor things that would make the stay 5 stars.
1. the dock isnt built to dock a boat. We had to tie off and walk to the bank.
2. needs a animal proof bin to put trash in at the property. We took trash out daily to a dumpster in town.
3. the master bath has a musty smell, not overwhelming. but it takes a way of the beauty of the bathroom design.
Note:
1.do not leave anything out o. the deck. Raccoons will destroy it. I found out they really like to tear apart soft plastic fishing baits.....
2. pack your boat at the launch so you do not have to carry anything down the steps at the house. Its a work out!
I would recommend this property

This was my second time staying at this house and while I was very impressed after my first visit, the second visit left me very disappointed. The house, besides being poorly stocked (we had 2 little soap bars there, one in the half bath and one in the master bath) needed a good cleaning as there were several dead flies on the floors throughout the home, heavy dirt/dust in the corners of the rooms, there were light bulbs that needed replacing in almost every room, the master bath especially since it was out over the large makep mirror and the stopper for the master bathtub was broken. There were 2 broken/missing ceiling fan blades on one of the fans on the back porch. We couldn't get the remote to work for DirecTV in the family room nor could we get the fireplace to work, which was a total bummer because there were a few days that it rained and was very cold and we would have really enjoyed staying in by the fireplace. All the exterior door handles were loose and difficult to lock, etc. This house really needs a handyman to spend a couple of days out there just doing lots of little things that are annoying for vacationers. With all these things that were so annoying and disappointing, the absolute worst for my husband and I was the completely ragged American flag hanging on the front porch. My husband is an Army Veteran and every time we walked out of the house he commented on that flag. It was barely recognizable. It does not symbolize American pride, it's disrespectful and it's merely a dismantled piece of cloth, hanging shamefully on the front of this house. This house went from being a favorite of mine to one I'll never go back to. I've never been one to leave negative reviews and you can actually look back at the review I left for this house in June of 2022 and see that. In this situation I didn't get what I paid for and there are far too many other great options for me to ever stay here again.

Property was good but basic necessities was missing

The house was the perfect fit for our family. My mom loved the decor and it was comfortable. Our only complaint was there were no amenities provided that are typically provided. Shampoo conditioner etc. some kitchen supplies. There was a grocery store close by that we were able to get everything we needed though. Had a hard time working the TV but that was probably our deficiency. Overall it was a great stay. Thank you

Issue
Wonderful lodging. The only issue was that neither TV worked. Still a wonderful stay

Little Bit of Heaven
We loved every moment of our stay here. It was almost to perfect to leave to go back to Pigeon Forge for shows and activities. I would highly recommend this property and we'll definitely stay there again!

God's master hands are evident as soon as one walks in the door. The decor is beautiful, but the
The seamless check-in was beautiful. We did have to call the property manager once, but they were efficient in handling our needs. I would highly recommend this property to others and would enjoy my family returning.

Beautiful house for a family getaway
The view of the lake was beautiful for our visit in May. My wife loved all of the decorations in the house. The children loved the video games and ping pong. Our older boys and I played plenty of rounds of cornhole. Overall it was a great place to stay while in the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge area. A few downsides include: 1) the steep driveway that our shuttle bus could not turn into without going to the end of the street and turning around first, 2) The master bedroom stayed much warmer than the rest of the house.

Surprising
Loved the look overall and it felt very comfortable. There are not enough kitchen gadgets. We needed a pizza wheel. There were big black ants in the kitchen and living room. I would still stay again because of the location but I will bring bug spray. Beds were comfortable. Just to note, the lowest level is a basement with no blind or curtains for all those windows. My girls would not sleep down there on the pull out sofa. We want to say again when the weather is a little warmer.

Great place, almost perfect
We really enjoyed staying here. Some additional details in the product listing would have been useful to know before showing up:
- There is a coffee maker but only a Keurig. We didn’t bring any K-cups and had to head out to the store for some.
- The turn into the property from the fastest route is a sharp turn over 90 degrees and at an odd angle. Would recommend any truck or longer vehicle approach from the other direction.
- The downstairs bedroom had a few dozen ladybugs coming in around the window area. Not the end of the world but everything else was really nice and clean.
- A description of what cooking utensils are on hand would be really useful. We looked everywhere but couldn’t find a regular kitchen knife.
Overall we really loved the place and it had a fantastic view as well. We stayed up late in the main living area and were really happy everybody had comfortable furniture and a gas fireplace to sit by and tell stories.

Amazing for families
When I say this place had so much room I mean it. I went with my dad, his wife, my husband a d our 4 kids and we never felt like we were crowded in anyway. Everyone had their own space and the whole house is so gorgeous. Will definitely be trying to book this house again on our next stay. It also has an amazing view since it in literally on the lake.

Great location
There was plenty of room everyone. The location is great. The water levels are extremely low in February. The cabin looked like no one had stayed in it for a while. There was heavy dust everywhere. I would recommend the cabin. But I would also recommend a thorough cleaning.
