We stayed here passing through to the Canyon Lands. It was just one night but it was convenient for us. Nice place and lots of room. Everything was good and I’d recommend it to others. Only downside was grass had been mowed and was left in the parking area everywhere. Also the cat was cute but under your feet as you tried to get in and out. But thanks for the stay

In was a good location to some of the parks and monuments we came to see.

The cooler was set for winter mode, so we couldn't cool down the bedroom

Was just perfect for what we needed, although the bbqer wasn’t working well. Tried to cook some steaks and brats and one side never lit and the other never got hot enough. Had to end up cooking inside. Enjoyed the kitty, however my grandson was allergic.

Well appointed, very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed.

Communication was prompt and thorough. There is an additional guest fee I didn’t realize until after booking. Spacious, clean, and thoughtful details like a snack tray to welcome you, plenty of linens, all the kitchen necessities and bathroom needs you could think of. I should have read the other reviews about the tenant downstairs. There is no locked barrier between you. We were at the cabin during our entire stay, but I would have felt uncomfortable had we left. Unnerving with minor children. There was a makeshift foam barrier blocking the doorway to the basement apartment, but a locked separation would make all the difference in my opinion. It also made us self conscious of our noise level when our kids wanted to play hide and seek and just in general. One of the main reasons we choose an air b n b over a hotel room is to not have to worry about people around us, so that was a down side. Pictures seemed like it is more remote, but it’s pretty close to town and surrounded by other homes and buildings. Not a big deal for our purposes, but it’s not tucked away in a remote setting if that’s what you’re looking for. Overall a positive stay. Bathroom/lack of privacy as mentioned in other reviews was a minor inconvenience. Soaker tub was awesome after a long day of hiking in Canyonlands. Vacuum was broken, which might have contributed to why we found several goat head stickers in the rugs and carpets. Really great location for access to Canyonlands, Arches, Monument Valley, etc.

Cute clean cabin on the edge of blanding. My kids loved the cat that lives on the porch and the bath tub.

The cabin had plenty of room for our family of seven and had everything we needed for our short stay.

Just outside of town, we found our beautifully spacious cabin. Family of 5, ages 22 to 85, we stayed , very comfortably, so we could traverse Canyonlands. That we did. Blading is a town of the loveliest nature. When you stay there, getting a tad involved in this sweet town is almost inevitable. Nice folks, top to bottom. It's small but the Patio is a must hit for burger lovers. The cabin is laid out in country decor, appliances all worked well, the stay was comfortable, to say the least. No hotel/motel could give us the family time like this place. Though you get country peace, you're at a very oft used part of town. There's kids around, so I wouldn't plan a keg party here, but, if your looking to relax and just enjoy a moment's peace, this is the place. Everything you could need is in this cabin. We'd like to thank our hosts for such an enjoyable, effortless, stay. My mom, the 85 year old, asked that I thank you for the country charm of the decor. Yes, a guy lives in the lower level. He's not a nut or anything. Nice young fella from Minnesota. No threat. Either way, it was a great couple if days that will end up a part or our family's collective memory. We hope to go back next year. Great area to visit, great place to stay. Be back soon! The attention to cleanliness and hospitality didn't go unnoticed.

Nice country log home. Fully stocked with everything you would need (except for a corkscrew)

Absolutely delightful property- porch, dining table, fully equipped kitchen, soft beds, great showers. Scrupulously clean!!

Living area was large and comfortable, kitchen was decently stocked with pots, pans and dishes. As others have stated people were living in the basement with no way to secure the upstairs from the basement, but they were quiet and we never really noticed they were there.
Only negatives were neighbors' barking dogs and the location/ configuration of the bathrooms. The two bedrooms and one bathroom are on the second level with one bedroom sharing a ¾ tall wall with the bathroom. Toilet is on the partial (not all the way to the ceiling) wall that backs up to the headboard of the bed on the otherside. If you're staying with immediate family members that's not a problem, but if you want/ need some 'privacy' at night you'll need to go downstairs to the bathroom by the back door.

Preston emailed me that there is a guest book for check out. We could not find it. I called and left a message that we could not find the guest book. We did not get a response. So we will check out the best we can.
Shower curtain in main level bath needs to lifted higher or shorten the shower curtain. Light over kitchen table would be nice, that area is dark. We played cards ever night, and it was dark. We had lots of room. Plenty of towels. It was clean.

Host did not communicate prior to our stay or list on the property description that there was a man living in the basement separated only by a piece of styrofoam. It felt very uncomfortable to leave any valuables at the house. Nothing bad happened and the man was understanding given the awkward circumstances , but I wouldn’t stay at this property again given the sleeping arrangement. Bedroom doors do lock, which improves things a bit. Definitely not for families.

There's nothing fancy about this house which was fine but it wasn't comfortable either. The main bed was comfortable, but there entire house was so hot no one could sleep. We booked 2 nights a stayed for one.
We could only afford a small vacation this year because of gas prices. We were really disappointed in this house and it feels like they mislead us to believe this house would be fun and it was a disaster. Kind of feels like I was stolen from (my time and money).
Oh! The fact that there were men living downstairs in a basement apartment was not listed ANYWHERE!! NOT COOL! We have kids! Strangers sharing the same house is NOT okay..
I would like the yard to have been more relaxing and private. Porch and bathtub was nice though.

Lovely log cabin!
I can’t say enough about how delighted we were with our stay!
The directions for the key box and house items were clear and simple. We really enjoyed the log cabin from the chairs on the porch to view the “dark skies” at night. The Milky Way was magnificent!
The bed was comfortable although a king sized bed might have been the one addition I would have liked. My partner is 6’4” and beds seem to be a little short.
The kitchen was well equipped and everything was arranged for a mist delightful vacation!

Open, accommodating, but....
The house was very open, had lots of room and was clean for the most part. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. There was an unknown red truck that appeared late at night and parked directly behind the basement entrance. The driver disappeared and we bacame uneasy because we didn’t know what they were doing parking there. The male driver and truck left the next morning. We assumed he might be staying in the basement, which has no locked access between the basement and upstairs, which made it very awkward and uneasy for the rest of us. There was old feces on the floor in front of the toilet. We found several spiders in the house. It was very very hot upstairs in the second bedroom, the master bedroom has the AC. The light switch for the master bedroom is in the hallway.

Outside of property was very poor. Weeds growing between cracks in driveway. Lawn was unkept.
We were four men 70+ years old. Three decent beds and a very low fold out couch. Very uncomfortable. The house was attractive and nice inside. The oven required turning breaker on and off. It was the little things that brought this location down.

Not told about unsecured basement unit.
We were not told about the unsecured basement unit. There was a separate unit connected to the cabin that was only blocked by foam and duct tape. There was a truck outside of that door. We had no way of knowing if someone was there or not.

Great for day trips
This is a good property as a starting point for day trips to many parks and points of interest in Four Corners Area. Only an hour or less drive from Arches, Canyonlands, Mesa Verde, Monument Valley, and Natural Bridges. Can leave in the morning, spent the day touring, and be back by early evening to relax and get ready for another day.

Overnight Stop
The property was fine. Dont expect too much from the town of Blanding in the way of restaurants.

Nice cabin, extras really appreciated
We stayed two days in area for exploring National and state parks. Quiet safe neighborhood and enjoyed all the horses within sight while relaxing on covered porch. Nice jet tub in master. Comfortable beds, towels super soft and plenty of them and other necessities. Laundry supplies, kitchen stocked well, and bath supplies were great.

base camp
the Log Haven was perfect for our preparations to head into Grand Gulch for a few days of backpacking. There was everything we needed to cook and relax for a bit. The washer and dryer were wonderful to clean some clothes after being in Escalante Grand Staircase. a few days previous to our stay.

Great Headquarters for Exploring
The log home has a lot of character and was very comfortable for our family of 4. The beds are all tempur-pedic (or equivalent) and quite comfortable. Large kitchen, plenty of space to spread-out, and the deck would be nice in warm weather.

Good cabin, spooky area
The house itself was excellent, big yard, sturdy construction, clean, functioning, everything you could ask for. But bonding Utah is a bit spooky do your homework before visiting because it may be what you’re looking for, but it also may be quite the opposite. Overall it was a good trip!

The house was clean, in good condition, and as described. The parking was not as described. A large Salt Lake Shuttle blocked the circle driveway making parking our utv trailer less than easy. Attempted contact with manager was met with silence.

This was a great property. It has a kitchen, deck, laundry facilites, garden tub and beautiful views! This log cabin played a big part in our amazing trip.

Canyonlands and Arches
Excellent place to stay. Appreciated washer/dryer, dishwasher and niceties like Olive oil, butter, shampoo, body wash lotion. Once we got into the flow we didn’t mind the drive to Arches and Canyonlands. Enjoyed restaurant takeout at pizza place, patio drive-in and the Steakhouse. Great grocery store too-Clark’s! Did both sides of Canyonlands and Arches. Awesome places to visit!

Nice Quiet Spot
This was a great base camp in Blanding for exploring the rich archeological sites in the area. Home cooked meals and the porch to sit out on was awesome at the end of each day!
