Things we really liked: *Hand soap at all sinks *Beds are super comfy, and 3 are king sized *Lots of kitchen supplies, including a coffee pot, Keurig, an instant pot and a ninja air fryer *Lots of starter supplies of TP, paper towels, trash bags and even laundry pods *AC works great, though with vaulted ceiling in the main house, upstairs was warmer than downstairs *Wrap around covered porch is amazing with lots of seating *Pet friendly, including dog bowls *Very clean & did not smell like it was pet friendly *Feels homey, not like a rental usually does with random furniture and decor *Full size Washer and dryer in a laundry room Things we don’t like: *The keypads didn’t work for the doors so we had to call to be able to get in. *WiFi is not great, but that was noted in the description so not a problem for us! We went tubing with Becca at Cold Mountain tubing and axe throwing at Bear Mountain. Both were a short 20-25 minute drive. Some of us played golf and went on a short hike to a gorgeous waterfall!

The cottage and cabin suited our needs very well and had a great location for our purpose in Maggie Valley. The check in process was very cumbersome as none of the codes worked for either the cottage or the cabin and we had to spend 20 minutes on the phone with the rental agency before we could get in. Our stay was further burdened by the inconvenience of several black snakes that chose to hang out on the porch, and under the deck this prevented us from being able to use the outside areas comfortably. Although the rental agency was very responsive and offered to relocate us the inconvenience of having to move just didn’t work for our situation. also, if you plan to work from this rental, the Wi-Fi broadband is very poor and you cannot even operate a Teams video meeting from their Wi-Fi. This was clearly stated in their listing, however, not suitable if you need to do any type of work or steaming activity. Also, the main house was very poorly, equipped with essentials like garbage bags, toilet paper, and dish soap for the dishwasher. The location is great and close to both Lake Junaluska, as well as Waynesville and other Maggie Valley points of interest.

Loved the views. Perfect for our family’s stay for a wedding. The house needs more frying pans and some storage containers for food. Would definitely rent again.

The company that owned the property was unwilling to work with me to reschedule or get a refund due to my father‘s hospitalization and death. Turned out to be the worst vacation ever for my family. I had to send them without me because I cannot leave my father side.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin and cottage were beautiful. The cleaning service had not been before we arrived, so I had to do laundry and clean the sheets and towels, empty trash, etc. in the cabin when we first arrived (I didn't touch the cottage, other than to go in and look around), but once that was done, we had an enjoyable experience. The views were amazing since the cabin sits right on top of a ridge. The utensils, pots and pans were on the cheap side and there was no dishwasher tablets and only one kitchen trash bag and 3 Tide pods. Luckily we brought our own supplies, but would have been in trouble otherwise, especially since we got snowed in and the roads are not maintained (no snow plow or snow treatment). There is more than enough room for multiple people. I would probably stay there again.
