This was a great cabin for our family of 5 with 3 little kids. The baby gate was helpful because of the stairs and our toddler. The cabin is beautiful with a luxury feel. A great spot and a very reasonable price. We plan to stay again!

The view was amazing! We loved our whole trip. Spent each day hiking and every night relaxing on the deck. The house was clean, fun, and just perfect. Highlight of our trip was seeing a mom bear and her 2 cubs walk right through the carport and hang out for about 5 minutes. One of our favorite trips.

This cabin was cozy and had amazing views, there are cabins next to you but you don’t notice them. The attention to detail was amazing. Communicating with the host was a breeze and they checked on us very often to make sure we didn’t need anything.

The view from the cabin is very beautiful. The owners also put a lot of thought into providing us with plenty of towels and necessities. The only thing that was missing is a fireplace. They only have an electric fireplace and not a wood burning or gas one so that was a little disappointing. Other than that, we had a great time.

This home was amazing! The views were incredible and the cabin itself was beautiful! I could imagine staying anywhere else in the area. We are definitely planning on rebooking for next year. We have two children under the age of 3 and felt like this was a great setting for them as well. We highly recommend!

This rental was all around good. The owner was super responsive before and during the rental. The property isn’t new, but it has been very well taken care of. The kitchen was well stocked. AC worked well. Beds were comfy and the place was very clean. The hot tub is well placed to enjoy the super Mountain View.

My wife and I celebrated our 49th anniversary here. We have stayed at many cabins in the Smokies, but this cabin has become our new favorite.
It is in an excellent location. The Cobbly Nob area has close access to the Cosby and Greenbriar areas of the park which are much less visited and have great hiking trails. Also, you really do not even need to go into Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge if you don't want to to get to the cabin.
The cabin itself was wonderful. The view is spectacular. The deck is completely private. The cabin was very clean when we arrived. It is nicely furnished with everything you need. It really is a very pretty place.
The owners are incredibly responsive. I would often get a response to any inquiry within minutes!
We had a very nice time here and I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone.

Great Spot to Relax
Great getaway in the Great Smoky Mountains. The cabin is well maintained and it provided a great place to relax after visiting Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and other areas over the 4th of July weekend. The view of the mountains is breathtaking and beautiful. I would recommend this spot to anyone. The owners are great people and they truly care about guest's wellbeing during their stay.

Amazing cabin!
The cabin was amazing. My only regret was not staying longer. Plenty of space for my family (wife, 3 children, mother, and myself). Our favorite outing during our stay was whitewater rafting.

Outstanding getaway spot!
I took my adult daughters, grandchildren and a few of their friends that are like kids to me for Memorial Weekend. The cabin was PERFECT! That is by no means an overstatement. We had a full crew of 8 and there was room for everyone to sleep comfortably, plenty of extra pillows & blankets. There wasn’t a thing they missed… from soap, shampoo, cooking utensils, towels for both the hot tub and showers. We even needed an extra crockpot because of our large crew and they had one stocked in the cabin!
Three of us stayed an extra day when we found out it was available. Because the little ones had gone home and it was quiet, we had a bear visit.
The view from the back deck was breathtaking, there were board games, a chessboard & checker board, shuffle board & video games for the kids and the Artisan circle of shops was fantastic! We didn’t bother with the tourist stuff in Gatlinburg. There was plenty to enjoy in the cabin, National park, & Artisan Circle to keep us occupied. We’re talking about maybe coming back in the fall. Chris & Janis were great hosts! 5 stars and a 10 on the excellent scale. Thank you for letting us share your wonderful cabin!!! ~Andie Lynne & family

Amazing experience
My husband and I rented the cabin for a week for a wedding anniversary. We had family join us for a few days. The cabin was meticulous, stocked with everything we needed from shampoo/conditioner, salt/pepper, laundry detergent etc. everything was clean and homey. They had a ton of games and entertainment to choose from. The highlight is the VIEW is absolutely breathtaking. It is a bit farther to the national park then we realized (anticipate anywhere from 45-90 mins for some trailheads), but it was secluded and we’d do it again over some of the more crowded lodging options in Gatlinburg. We were lucky enough to see a momma bear and her cub on the property on the last day, and another bear strolling the neighborhood. The hosts were amazing, checking in often and giving a lot to advice on things to do, places to eat, etc
We will definitely be back!

BEAUTIFUL,GREAT VEIWS,CLEAN,HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Where to begin..Everything was absolutely perfect! The cabin itself and views, pictures just don't do justice for! We took my father inlaw who was unfortunately diagnosed with stage 4 cancer here because he has always wanted to see the smokey mountains and I can't imagine there is a better place then this! The host was another level of amazing! They took the time through out our stay to check in and make sure everything was going well and if there was anything we needed. I can't say enough great things about them! They even took the time to communicate with the cleaning lady of our situation and the cleaning lady went through and did a over the top clean/sanitize of the whole property by her self to insure there was less chance of illness being passed to my father inlaw. The kids had so much fun with the game room, it was so nice they had something to keep them entertained while adults enjoyed a glass of wine and the sun sets,it was such a great idea! Everything was tidy, clean and home feeling, there was no need to try and do the "new place settle in" thing, when we arrived it felt like home the moment we walked in the door. We definitely did not want to leave, and we will definitely be returning in the future! Thank you guys so much for sharing your piece of heaven with us and others! This place is definitely something special that leaves ever lasting memories! ❤

Amazing views in a comfortable, clean, and accommodating home!
We LOVED our 4 night stay here. We wished our time here would have been longer so we will do that the next time we come to the Smoky mountains. We have more water falls and hiking trails to see and the easy trip to Gatlinburg to enjoy the sights that we missed.
Our favorite parts of this VRBO were:
*The views from the comfortable chairs with my coffee in the morning or watching the sunset from the relaxing hot tub.
*Being able to cook our own meals in a well equipped and clean kitchen. The fridge was wiped down to look brand new. We ordered groceries from instacart which was a time saver.
*My teenage daughter loved that she had her own bathroom and huge comfortable bed to herself.
*My son loved his own pulled out bed in the gameroom. The game room was awesome on the rainy day.
*Everything was very clean as you could smell a light scent of the cleaning products as we walked in so I didn't worry or feel like I needed to do my own cleaning for the germs from the others who were there before us.
*My husband had to work a few days and the wifi worked great. He loved the views as he worked.
*We did see a mama bear with 2 cubs a few places down which was cool too.
* The owners, Chris and Janice, were awesome to work with. Very easy rental and they text to make sure all is well incase you need them.
As for things that could be better:
*Be prepared for the drive up to the cabin. It has some curves but it is easy to navigate the 2nd time you do it.
*More time there!! We had a few tears as we left. It was such a great memory that we made as a family.

RELAX AND ENJOY THE VIEW!
We truly enjoyed our stay here at Barenberg Cabin.
The house was very cozy and inviting. The chairs facing out the windows to the back are the best seats in the house. We love the child’s chair in the living room as well. It’s so unique! Be sure to check out the neat decor on the walls, including the map of the surrounding area and other cool signs and local decor. The beds were super comfortable! The views from the back and front are absolutely incredible and pictures could never do them justice (A bench out front would be a nice touch to look out at the other side at night). We were able to utilize Instacart on our first night for last minute groceries, and then ate at a couple of different places. We skied at Ober, went to the tiptop at Anakeesta , shopped downtown, and hiked some trails in the National Park. This trip was awesome. It is very quiet and peaceful at Barenberg. We did not see any bears, but we saw bear droppings in the yard so they’re definitely near by! The drive way up to the cabin itself is intimidating the first time (or three) that we had to drive it, but then again we’re from Florida. I recommend relaxing in the hot tub while watching the smoke roll over the mountains.
