The location and apartment where very nice. Is located right down town, but you only have a street view…no bay views. The parking space is about a block and a half away next to a car parts store in a dirt lot and then after walking your luggage to the location, you have to climb 20 steps straight up to get to the apartment door. By the time we reached the apartment door we were worn out. This is why I say Not for seniors!

Location was great and everything was easy. Parking was close, footbridge, walking around town. Catch the breeze and music in the evenings just floating through the windows. Place was clean and everything in working order, pictures are accurate. Would stay here again.

We had a wonderful experience. It was so fun being able to walk everywhere in town instead of driving. Everything was clearly communicated and efficient for checking in and out and advance. The only two things that were minor were we couldn’t get the tv to work and there were small little ants in the bathroom and living room that were around. Not sure where they came thing! I would stay again and recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in booth bay harbor. It was perfect for our family of four with two small boys!

What a cool place to stay. Right in the heart of Boothbay Harbor. Park the car and you can walk everywhere! The unit itself was immaculate, comfortable, and well appointed. We didn't want for anything. Convenient laundry right in the hallway and only 2 other apartments in the building. This was a really special stay. Thank you so much!

We didn’t know who the note was from, so we couldn’t even respond back to say the trash wasn’t ours. Perfect weekend getaway
Our family of four, children 8 & 10, stayed at this perfect location for 2 nights. It was a mini stop on our coastal trip of Maine. Walking distance to all the great restaurants, ice cream and shopping.

Wonderful, clean, beautiful, well-located
What a lovely stay we had! The place was spotless, well-appointed and perfect for my mother, my wife, and me. We loved being in the center of town -- everything you want is right outside the front door. The only thing to note was that people are loud at night on the street but that's what earplugs are for!
We'll definitely be back at some point!

Needs television instructions
We have enjoyed our stay here for two years, but both times, there were no instructions whatsoever for either television. The living room tv, and the bedroom tv each had three remotes and no amount of effort was successful. Last year, the owner had to fix the problem. This year, we needed the tv because of all the rainy weather. We got a lot of sympathy from Turnkey but it was never resolved.
We likely won’t be back to this delightful place because we don’t feel full price is worth anyplace without television.
Otherwise, very clean.

Great location, no Air Conditioning
This spot was clean, safe, right in the heart of Boothbay. It did get hot during the day because there was no air Conditioning. At night we could open windows for a nice breeze. We stayed out all day and waited for evening before we returned to avoid the stifling rooms.

Perfect location to enjoy charming Boothbay Harbor. The apartment is beautifully decorated and the furniture is comfortable. Loved the view of the shops from the window.

That's why I am only giving my overall stay 3 stars - and that's too bad because it is a great location and could be a wonderful rental if the items get addressed.

The property was just perfect. It had all the amenities that one could need. Best of all was the location. We felt it was in the heart of this fun harbor town!

We were in Boothbay for a wedding and feel like we hit the VRBO jackpot by selecting this rental as our "home base." The apartment is adorable - VERY well maintained - and located steps away from shops and coffee and amazing views. 5 minutes into our stay we were already discussing our return trip.

We had never been to Maine before, so I was kind of shopping blind for a place to stay for our friends' wedding. This apartment turned out to be in the BEST location, right by many of the restaurants/venues that we visited during out stay. I would definitely book this apartment again.

Where to begin....Myself and 3 sisters visited Boothbay Harbor with no idea what to expect. When the owner say's fully appointed she wasn't kidding! I can tell you we instantly fell in love starting with this lovely, comfortable and immaculate apartment. The pictures on the website are only a glimpse of this gem. You feel at home the minute you walk in. It has everything you could need for your stay even if you only showed up with your clothes. The bathroom has a wide array of little toiletries, the kitchen is well stocked with lots of stuff to use if you choose. The bed is quite comfortable with really nice sheets that feel like satin. I was at first worried we would be hot as we are used to sleeping with fans full blast. The unit was very comfortable with the AC in the bedroom, ceiling fan and stand up fan in the living room. The Queen bed and full size futon accomadated the 4 of us comfortably. You will find even though you're right in the center of this cute little village like town that is actually really quiet. We were never bothered by any outside noise. One feature we particularly liked was the outside keypad look to gain entry into the building in addition to the locked apartment. We felt very safe even though that was never a concern for us. I could go on and on, but I can assure you, you won't be disappointed in this apartment. Betty and her staff who are always available in her store downstairs were welcoming and provided us with great information. I will say the parking lot was a little tricky to find at first but once we found it we were fine. Lastly if you're looking for the coastline of Maine go no further than Ocean Point. It's a quick 10 minute drive and just beautiful. Don't waste your gas or time traveling to Bar Harbor. It's not worth the long drive and Boothbay has so much more to offer in my opinion. We will definitely be taking another trip to Boothbay Harbor and staying at the Captain's Quarters! Thanks Betty :)

Betty maintains all the basics so you don't end up buying the simple stuff - there was even coffee!!!
And Betty was extremely easy to work with - we arrived way late (thanks United) and she accommodated our random schedule without issue.
Would stay again without hesitation.

The accommodations were very nice, though we were only there at nighttime. The place was clean and appeared well-maintained. Reserved parking was a couple blocks away and only an issue initially when we needed to transport suitcases those 2 blocks. The owner was also quite accommodating and made a late change to our reservation to suit our change of itinerary. We will certainly consider this place next time we stay in the Boothbay area. We hiked in some of the land preserves in the Boothbay area and recommend those preserves for hiking enthusiasts.
