Love this cottage ... our 4th visit. Having lived in BBH for 18 years, we always enjoy visiting old haunts and spending time with friends. Then there's time to enjoy reading in a sunny nook or on the great deck. Our almost 80 year old bodies are looking forward to another visit.

Loved location. Driveway difficult as it is steep and has some wash out, but no problem in summer. Lovely place. No air conditioning. Lots of fans, but was super hot first day and a little difficult for the asthmatic in our group. Well set up with every thing you need. My dog loved it too!

Fisher Cottage was a perfect location for our family of four to vacation. Everything that we needed was available in the kitchen and the Hannaford grocery store was just around the corner. We loved the grill and the space to eat in. Delicious food was available in walking distance from the cottage.
The cottage had everything we needed, with ample bedding, towels, TP, paper towels, coffee filters, dishwasher detergent pods, and soap.
Even though we had our own little nook on the hill, the cottage had so many fun options surrounding it. Our kids (12 and 9) loved the huge botanical garden…it was filled with interactive features like a huge troll scavenger hunt, outdoor musical instruments, lobster cage pulleys, etc. We enjoyed the small (but informative) aquarium. We had a fun morning exploring Ocean Point’s tidal pools and went twice to Pemaquid’s Beach Park. This beach park was a small sand beach with a great shower facility, snack bar/outdoor restaurant, and even a small educational area. We continued on to the Pemaquid Lighthouse, which was beautiful.
We went on a whale and puffin tour and it was neat to see the area from the ocean.
The temperatures ranged from mid 5s to mid 70s while we were visiting. We turned on the heat in the cottage when we arrived and then switched to fans and opened windows. The cottage had a dehumidifier that was efficient. We wholeheartedly recommend Fisher Hill Cottage! Thanks for the memories!

This is a cute 2 bedroom cottage near downtown. There is enough space for 4 adults. There is a very steep hill that you need to drive/walk up to get to the house. Opening the windows brought fresh sea air. Very quiet neighborhood. Great places to eat nearby.

This was our 3rd stay at this charming Maine cottage. It was a restful time for 2 aging seniors recovering from a year of health glitches. Lots of reading, relaxing and reconnecting with our friends (we lived in BBH for 18 years). Hope to return next year.

This is a perfect little house for a weekend stay. The house is well-stocked with amenities and we loved the big outdoor area. One thing to note, it is on top of a steep hill. We had two seniors and one person who had just recently recovered from ankle surgery so getting them up and down the hill was a bit difficult. It might be useful for the property owner to put stairs in somewhere that way people aren't having to scale and climb up on dirt and grass to get to the house.

Loved leaving the car parked and walking to the harbor, stores, restaurants! The cottage is comfortable and pleasant. Enjoyed relaxing on the deck in the evening. I would stay here again.

We had a great week here exoring Boothbay Harbor and the surrounding area. Super convenient to everything in town, especially the Windjammer Days that were happening. Plenty of space, comfortable rooms, and a everything we needed in a kitchen to eat at home some nights. Would definitely stay again our next trip up. The only thing to note is that it's up a steep hill for anyone with difficulty walking.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Fisher Hill cottage. It’s small but perfect size for 1 family with kids. Walking distance to the waterfront - boothbay is full of hills, so keep that in mind if you’re using a stroller. We knew this and honestly appreciated being up a hill at the house because it gives a nice view. We’d absolutely stay at this house again.

I rented the cottage for my husband & daughter while I was away on a trip in another direction - I did not stay at the cottage myself. My daughter will review the cottage for them.

Fisher Hill Cottage was perfect in every way. Coming from California we were looking for a slower place. Boothbay Harbor is the perfect backdrop for this charming cottage. This cottage has it all…..very comfortable furnishings, fireplace, fully appointed kitchen, beautiful deck complete with a grill. Fisher Hill Cottage has a personality all its own!
We found Boothbay Harbor a delightful little village with good places to eat, plenty of sights to see and friendly people. The sailboat ride is a must.
We can’t wait to return!

This charming cottage perfectly depicts what a Maine cottage should be. We stayed here in 2019 and are back again ... enjoying the upgrades including the great new deck. Light and airy, nicely stocked and close to town shops and services. We lived in BBH for 18 years so we enjoyed visiting old haunts and friends around town. Hope to return sometime.

This house is very close to the pier, as well as to the grocery store. We were able to walk on our excursions...nice not to have to get in a car constantly. The house had plenty of room for our family of four. We particularly liked the deck with seating for eating outdoors.

I had a great time here and the cottage was cozy and well kept. The driveway slope was a little tricky though.

This is a darling cottage, an easy walk down hill into Boothbay Harbor. It has very comfortable beds and a good shower. The cottage was very clean.

Cottage was very quaint and easily walkable to Boothbay. While the house was well stocked with linens, toiletries, towels and kitchen accessories we found 2 fans used to cool bedrooms were filthy (we cleaned them so that we could use them).. When I tried to reply to a text from Vacasa about my stay I received back and auto generated text that did not address my issue. The bathroom sink drained slowly and I was unaware of how to contact someone to alert them to the issue when we left. Overall the cottage was nice and very comfortable for our 4 guests - I just wish some more attention had been paid to little details (like the bedroom fan). In addition - a few times when I reached out to management in the weeks prior to our stay it took several days for them to reply. The house was Well decorated and well stocked and a great location. I would recommend this listing but hope that management makes notes of these issue to improve their customer service.
