Place was cute and clean. Says "lakeview" truth it's a sneak peek covered by trees obscuring the view. Awesome hot tub, pretty patio. It was all good until I was laying on the couch and felt movement on me. I jumped up, a mouse jumped off the couch and scurried away. I did leave text, and owner offered to bring mouse traps. I told her just to have cleaning person bring at checkout. The fireplace didn't turn on after following directions. We ended up leaving a full day early, because a restful night of sleep never came after the mouse incident.We realize this can happen in the woods, but there is a big gap under the door entrance, and one by the hot tub. The owner was apologetic, but when we texted her to let her know we left early, I personally would have offered a slight discount. She was nice enough, and said she hoped we liked our stay. Would be great place if mouse entrances fixed, we made sure to keep all doors closed,and leftthe place spotless.

We've stayed there many times over the past decade. We missed the canoe- the kayaks weren't quite as easy to manage. The new sink & counters are beautiful! Having the pull out bed upstairs so my kids didn't have to share was also pretty awesome. It's such a beautiful, if older, cabin & a great spot.

A great little place to unplug enjoy time with family. We enjoyed the kayaks on the lake and the firepit for quality time in the evenings. The rental came with everything we needed for a little getaway including games, a pool table, and hottub. Very quiet area that was not far from Old Mans Cave which we enjoyed during the day.

Very peaceful location! We enjoyed fishing from the dock, paddling in the kayaks and the large fire pit. The kitchen had ample cooking supplies (in good condition) but could use more silverware (forks/knives). The hot tub had a strong odor of bleach so we barely used. The office was very responsive to our request. Overall a good experience. Thank You!

Went to do a few days of hiking at Hocking Hills. The house is about 30 min drive to most of the main hiking spots. The trees make it feel secluded. The view of the lake is amazing. Spent most of our time outdoors either on the dock, at the fire pit, on the deck, or in the hottub.

Chelsea was great to work with. Overall house was clean. Dishes, silverware, pots/pans were not clean. Had to was everything we used. Kitchen is sparsely equipped for cooking, dining. Outside grill looks as if it had never been cleaned. Hot tub had floating scum in water and filter had scum all around it. This was very disappointing, we had perfect weather to use the hot tub but would not use it in that. Hubby did enjoy the lake fishing and used the kayak. We did have fires also which was enjoyable. I would not recommend this place however due to the issues I listed. For the cost per night these should not have been issues.

We enjoyed our 3 day getaway. We wish we had more time to stay longer. To the home owners, I would recommend more silverware and a pitcher for drinks. For those reading this review, there is not a dishwasher. We would stay here again without hesitation! Thank you for sharing your home.

In general, stay was just what we needed, quiet place in the woods to unwind. WiFi was decent. Didn't mind things like the missing fridge door handle, uncomfortably worn mattress, nonadjustable shower head and no kitchen towels. But, there was a power outage & no backup generator, which meant no water. Thankfully it was the last night of our stay. Used the landline to try to contact the office to let them know, but contact# listed on in-house instructions was disconnected.

Location was amazing and my company was even better. The cabin was nice, could use a little tlc with the trim work. The pool table was in pretty rough condition. We had a little trouble the first couple hours with the heat not working but managment was very responsive and took care of this issue quickly. Overall is was a nice getaway and worth the trip.

What a lovely area for the family to get away to. The lakeside property was beautiful and relaxing even in the winter months. We even got to see a fireworks show for New Year’s Eve. Everything was better than expected!

We really loved this house. I liked how the property was in a nice, safe lake community. You had privacy and great views. We enjoyed listening to woodpeckers and having coffee with great views.

We had an awesome time relaxing and fishing. Caught some huge bluegills. Hot tub was great. Only bad thing there are 2 wasp nest. One at the front steps going up and one in the corner of the door going out of the sun room. Got stung once which was my own fault. Would highly recommend this cabin to others. Plan on coming back again real soon.

A nice little place, but needs a lot of updates. We have stayed at a lot of cabins in the hocking hills and for the money this one cost, we was not impressed. I know this is out in the woods but when you look around the walls and corners of the wall especially the bathroom spiders and webs everywhere, the fridge door handle is broken off and the grill is a complete joke, I thought it was a kids toy at first. The inside of the oven is filthy and I personally wouldn't use it.

The Lake House is wonderful. Seems very secluded in the trees but there are neighbors near by. We loved the hot tub and fishing off the dock and in the canoe. Miner things here and there. The dryer for sure needs replaced. That's really my only complaint. The rest of the stay was great!

This property was exactly as advertised and checked all our boxes for our short get away, the weather wasn’t the greatest but we made the best of it, fishing wasn’t bad, kids loved kyacking and shooting pool along with relaxing in the hot tub. Relaxing around the camp fire in between rain showers was nice . Taking in a family movie while it rained was relaxing as well and homey…. Again we loved our stay!!

Great fishing trip - our 2nd visit!

Had a great time fishing. Lake was well stocked. Deck, hot tub, pool table were perfect. Our pool playing could use some work! Outdoor furniture was good and the new sofa was nice but we weren’t inside enough to enjoy it. Need new mattresses desperately. And the grill was not great . Overall would recommend!
