House has TONS of room and the ping pong / foosball tables great for non-lake down time. Serene lake views from the huge deck and plenty of space to hang or park your boat at the dock. Nice quiet spot but only 15 min to the grocery store, some restaurants, etc

The home is older, but well kept. It was pretty clean with the exception of some dead bugs in the laundry area room and some corners, and a few cob webs, but it is a lake house, so both of these things are kind of expected. Grass was a little overgrown to walk through, but the views made up for that too. House was very well equiped with games, Kitchen well stocked with everything needed for meal prep, pretty much all standard items needed for a stay were provided. My really only complaint was how high the fees were, they came to slightly more than the rental fee itself.

Very spacious can easily accommodate 6 families. Lots of toys for children and adults. Spacious Bedrooms and halls. Work station was just an add on with a whiteboard. It has some Bluetooth speaker.

Well-stocked for a family getaway, not too many stairs and a gentle walk to the lake.

We took our 4 boys on a lake vacation to this great house. We rented a boat and enjoyed waterskiing, wakeboarding and sunset cruises to name a few. Then came home for some ping pong, games around the table and fun in the yard. The kitchen may not be updated but they have all that’s needed to cook great meals ever night( which we did). The beds were comfy, house was clean and location was perfect. If you are looking to get away and enjoy some quality family time then look no further and book!

Plenty of room for my family and myself. Loved being right on the lake.

The house was stocked with fun stuff & super roomy! There is lots of outdoor space, and a mud room and crates for the pups. I wish every rental house was this great and easy.
4.0 / 5.0
The house was very clean and the rooms were big enough for all our needs! Having 4 full bathrooms was a huge plus! We loved the ping pong and foosball table, and the bucket of toys for the kids was amazing.
The 3 kayaks and paddle board were so nice, and we had access to many life jackets in case we forgot ours.
The only downsides were the lack of space At the dining room table, and the back sliding door didn’t lock, which was a bit unsettling at night. Both front and back screen doors were in definite disrepair, so it was hard to use those for that nice Lake Anna breeze. Also, make sure to bring ALL the spices you’ll need! If we didn’t bring our own salt and pepper we wouldn’t have had anything to use! The microwave/oven and stove were also veeeery old and didn’t work very well, so make sure you take that into account when you cook your dinner!

Not much we liked about the house. The carpet when you walked in smelt so bad with pee stains all over the rug. Ants all over the kitchen. Refrigerator was dirty. Everything they say to advertise the house was wrong. The cushions for outside were dirty! Dog crap all over the yard. Tried to open shades but they were so dirty. The curtains are from the 80's that have an odor. When we got there I called to let them know about the problems and did nothing, said they would note it. Dont throw your money away. We didn't feel comfortable cooking there so we had to eat out every meal and every day. Very, very disappointed!

We had a great time at Twilight Cove! The house was very clean upon arrival. Though the house/appliances are a bit older, everything worked just fine - beds and linens clean and comfortable. The shed has multiple kayaks, paddleboard, and life jackets, which we used and worked great! There is a HUGE (freshly mowed!) yard, great for croquet, cornhole, frisbee, etc. Keycode did not work initially, but a quick call to Vacasa got that cleared up. Would definitely come back!

Pros: the house is huge and has some nice features, including a large rec room with foozball and ping pong
Cons: Vacasa, which manages the property, lies in its listings. There were no baby gates, an exterior door was broken and couldn't lock, there was no propane for the grill, the kitchen lacked basics needed for cooking such as salt, pepper, oil, etc. When they were notified that they were missing items or that things were broken, they either obfuscated, made excuses, or responded extremely slowly. This followed poor communication in the period after booking, where they took days or weeks to respond to messages, and when they did, the responses were either irrelevant or non-responsive to what had been asked.
They also never followed through on a promised partial refund related to the missing items. I strongly recommend against staying at any Vacasa property.

We have a family of 6, kids from ages 24 to 11 and and a small dog and we had the best time. We spent most of every day swimming, paddle boarding on our inflatable SUPs and lounging on the lake right at the bottom of the back yard. The boathouse was a great place to take respite a few times as it provided shade and seating. The house was perfect for our crew. Yes, the internet is a little slow but it encouraged everyone to be outside and spend time together. We could have spent another week so we could get in some bike rides and hikes. The weather was so great we didn’t even need to get into any indoor activities. 10/10 we can’t wait to go back.

Bottom line up front, after renting over 30 waterfront homes on lake Anna, The Twilight Cove rental, hands down, has the most beautiful view from the deck to the waterfront dock and the Twilight Cove Marina. Very spacious with five rooms and four bathrooms. What they don’t tell you is that all linens and bath towels are included where most other rentals on the lake are not provided. Great place for family fun. Lastly, there’s deep water at the dock for you to bring your own boat or a rental boat. We had a 25’ pontoon there with easy in/out access.

Had a small family gathering right in the lake with lake access for our bass boat although you have to launch next door. Quiet spacious home. Game room deck fire pit we all enjoyed ourselves.

We had 9 people and had plenty of space. Great place for having dogs. Huge yard for outdoor activities. Not fenced but dogs did well staying on property (little distractions) . Pretty quiet area, small restaurant right next door but only open on weekends (which was nice). Only thing I would recommend is not have lawn mowed in middle of someone’s stay. We did have septic alarm go off during stay but they sent someone right away and took care of it. We would stay here again!

We enjoyed a wonderful Fathers' Day with three generations of family at Lake Anna in this comfortable home! The home was very clean and well stocked with kitchen and yard items, and was super comfortable. My nephew called it the Tardis (from Dr. Who) because it was so much bigger on the inside than it appeared from the outside. We loved it--my dad kept saying "we need to remember this place" :). I am sure we'll be back!

Great Weekend Away
We stayed right before the restaurant next door opened and it was great! Very quite and lots of space for our dog to run around without having to worry about lots of cars or other people. The house was great for a large group, the rooms were tucked away from the gathering space which made them nice and quite if you wanted some extra sleep. Also four full bathrooms was great for a group!

Enjoyable & engaging experience even in winter stay
This property is great for a group of families with or without kids - there were lots of space in the house, deck and outside yard to enjoy different activities here. View of Lake Anna was stunning especially during sunset, and we could have outside grilling due to the milder temperatures during our stay. We even had campfires in the fire pit and enjoyed the lovely night sky that is visible here. Other facilities are also adequate and lot of games/pass time opportunities available. Only concern we had was the speed of wifi , which is quite slow and with multiple devices connected (which is usually the case visiting with friends and family grp) ir was not enough for streaming or working from home.
Other than that, this place is amazing and highly recommended as a place to unwind and enjoy the nature around it.

Lake Anna Retreat
This property is great for having an area of the lake to yourself. The house was big enough for all to have their own space. Nice that there was only one TV in the house as required family time together. Great place to go and if the opportunity comes again we will definitely go again.

Great Spot for whole family, including dogs
Ample sleeping room, nice large basement, walk to pier access is nice. Not 5 stars because internet/wireless was non-existent and we couldn’t watch World Series together

Slice of fall heaven
5 friends out to pass a fall weekend with our dogs and a fire. This fit the bill perfectly. Huge property for dogs to play. Yard is not fully fenced though, so good boys and girls only unless you bring a tie out. They provided one tie out. Inside the house was clean and had everything we needed. Right on the water. Shares a yard with a restaurant which is seasonal, so probably not a good place for free roaming dogs in the summer. We did not use the dic, as it was easier to use the restaurant doc given no one was there. Vacasa was very responsive to help us reset the internet and the front door key code. Would go again.

Weekday peace
The property was very peaceful during the week. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding. The listing details were slightly inaccurate: there is not a dog crate and the master bedroom is not an ensuite. However, the home is very spacious and we were glad we stayed at this location.

We rented this house last minute & we are so glad we did. The house was huge, big enough for a couple families...although parts were a bit dated, the house was super clean. Location was great too.
