Vast trail home located in the heart of Island Pond, the Snowmobile Capital of Vermont. For snowmobilers or ATV’s the home sits on VAST and ATV trails. The home has ample parking for trucks with trailers. For skiers, snowboarders and mountain bikers, Burke Mountain, Jay Peak and Kingdom Trails are nearby. For fisherman there are multiple lakes and streams including Island Pond accessible to kayak from property. You’re also within a 15-20 min ride of Seymour Lake and Lake Willoughby five minutes walk to Brighton state park

This was my first time to Island Pond. We were visiting friends that have a home nearby. We rented this place, simply for convenience of the location. But from the minute, I opened the door to the beautiful hike out back, I never was disappointed and this home was extremely clean. The owner was very easy to deal with. The location to the downtown area was walking distance. The children and I had an amazing time!

Can’t say enough good things about our time in Vermont. The property owner was extremely attentive (had an issue with the furnace he had fixed immediately); I had reached out for a local photographers name and were sent several. The property was perfect for us, location was beautiful, house was very clean and had anything you would need. I could go on and on. We will definitely stay here again!!!

The host was very communicative. Place was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Kitchen was more than adequate but not as modern as some other places we've stayed at. However, we thought the security deposit, which amounted to three and a half times the cost of our one night, was excessive. Given that you have to wait two weeks for Vrbo to send an e-mail that your security deposit return is in process and may take another five days; just absurdly ridiculous. If you do decide to stay, highly recommend Jesse's Kitchen for take out dinner.

The place had everything we needed. Other than “leave all dirty linens in front of washer/dryer” there were no other directives so we just left the place like we have done with other VRBO’s. We had never been to this part of VT before and we love kayaking and hiking and there were plenty of places to go, but it would have been nice to have updated information for places to go and places to eat in the area. Wi-if is spotty so not always easy to look things up online. All in all a nice week.

Very clean property - plenty of space and nice layout. We LOVED the HUGE backyard including the little river at the back property edge. Beds are comfortable. Lots of windows which we loved. Heads up - if you like to cook and are particular about things - the stove top is just ok and the knives are basic. That may not be an issue for many people so please dont let that be a reason to avoid this property. Owner/host is super nice and very responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location to downtown and near the Essex Inn. Super clean and comfortable. Only complaint is that the WiFi is non existent.

Let me start with this is the cleanest place we have ever stayed at! (we do rentals 2-3 times a year) The weather kept us from riding our fat bikes so we spent more time in the house then we would have liked. However we still had a great time with the dart board, tv and various other games at the house. The town has a great little market as well.

The house was clean and accessible to a wedding we attended in Norton, Vermont. There is a grocery store and a few restaurants extremely close by, even walkable. The host responded extremely quickly to my questions. I would stay here again and recommend it!

Well located, excellent communication with the host, fireplace also well located so we can have fun and not disturb the neighborhood. Wood included. Everything was perfect to make our stay perfect and fun. Comfortable and varied beds for all situations. Having 2 bathrooms was a must!

Long weekend with friends spent in ATV trails for my hubby’s 60th. All aspects of home were awesome ! Dave was super responsive ! Excellent location .

We had a great time at The Riverfront Guest home for our snowmobile weekend! Everything was as described. The house was clean and the location can not be beaten for snowmobiling! Dave was so responsive and easy to communicate with. The check in and check out process was easy. We would definitely recommend Dave's place and stay there again.

close to main trail and can ride right from the house . plenty of room to park truck / trailers . very clean and plenty hot water . furniture is all fairly new and in good shape .
