Enter our 40 acre Orchard Manor through a private gate leading atop the rolling hills of an apple orchard to the magnificent 19 room custom built estate. The home is designed for entertaining with expansive views, tennis courts, basketball, heated pool, lower level game center with movie theatre and fitness center. Take a walk through the orchard and find the perfect apples for picking or work up a sweat on the tennis courts. Spend sunsets on the front porch with unobstructed views.

We visited with the whole family--grandparents, aunts, uncles, and kids. Everything was perfect and exactly as described. Everything in the house is of very high quality, from the pool and hot tub to the kitchen and game room. Highly recommended!

This is a beautiful home. However, it needs some upkeep. We visited this home in March and then again in July. Some things that were broken had not been fixed. Such as the floor heating grates (broken and dangerous for small kids) and the toilet roll holder in the master suite (that fell off the wall both in March and July). Some one broke the doors between the office and the master bedroom but it was just left for us to deal with. The game room in the basement is nice. But one of the skeeball machines was broken. Which kinda takes the fun out of competing against another peron. The pool is amazing and we had no problems with that. I expect the home to be well stocked for the amount that we pay per week. It was not well stocked. We had to purchase paper towels and toilet paper. There was no coffee or oil. Lastly, the recycle bins were full the whole time that we were there. We had no choice but to put all the garbage together and we did not have adequate storage for the trash we accumilated. That said we still had a good time being with the family.

Perfect location of privacy with the convenience of close restaurants, stores, and activities for our family gathering. Ages ranging from 76 to 8 years old. This property offered a great variety of activities onsite for both our sunny and rainy days.
The kitchen was equipped to cook and feed our group of thirteen.
The sleeping accommodations worked for our family. Some bedrooms required sharing a bathroom (not an issue for our family, just something to know depending upon the group). The twin beds are either in a hallway or through another bedroom, which the kids loved.
We would definitely rent again as the house offered plenty of retreat areas for our large group.

Our large family usually does our summer trip to the Cape. This year we decided to venture off the beaten path and holy cow am I glad we did!
The photos alone do not do this home justice. They show the basics but there is so much more. The closet space in this home could easily have been used for another 6 bedrooms. All bathrooms were gorgeous and the shower pressure was better than a five star hotel.
Don't bother bringing any kitchen utensils or anything for grilling. There is more than enough of everything. The beds in the upstairs rooms are queens (other than the full bed in the pink room).
We had gorgeous weather so spent most of our time outside. We fully utilized the pool house covered area, lounge chairs, couch set by the fire place, rocking chairs and wooden dining table. The pool is glorious! It truly is heated (if you choose). Hot tub was great too. The pool house has a stereo system that covers the entire back of the house. You can Bluetooth to your phone and listen to whatever you choose in surround sound. Need extra refrigerator space? You've got a sub zero kitchen fridge, upstairs regular size fridge, full fridge in the pool house, mini fridges in the game room and upstairs bar area. We used them all! Having laundry upstairs and downstairs was great. John, the groundskeeper, is very responsive and addressed any issues that arose in a timely manner. We loved this home so much that we booked for 2025 before I stay was even complete.

The amazing game room, large movie theater, and terrific pool and hot tub were the high points for our grandchildren, ages 10 - 18. The adults also enjoyed the tennis court and the beautiful grounds. The house is super close to shopping, restaurants, and all types of entertainment.
The property manager and caretaker were very responsive and helpful.
We couldn't have found a more ideal setting for our family reunion.

Our family came together at this gorgeous spot for a milestone wedding anniversary. Grown ups, teenagers, and children alike had a wonderful time enjoying all the amenities (tennis, basketball, pool, game room, movie theater). There was so much to do and the estate was emaculate. 5 stars.

We enjoyed our stay at Orchard Manor. Everything was as described and very spacious even with all the beds used. The game room and movie theater were awesome and one of the primary reasons we booked the house. The popcorn machine featured in the photo no longer exists but we made do with a large pot on the stove. Kerri was extremely responsive and the caretaker super helpful. Property is gorgeous and much prettier in person. Sunsets from the family room were spectacular. Great value for the money, would definitely stay again.

Orchard Manor was the perfect home for our family weekend. There was something for everyone. Game room, theatre, gym, and outdoor basketball court. Then plenty of space in the kitchen living area to gather for food and drink !

From the kitchen to the game room and everything in between, the house was absolutely spectacular, just off the charts. Kerri and John were fantastic and responded quickly to any questions.

We wanted a place close to Mystic and close to the casinos. Eight friends from CT, MA, and GA getting together for a weekend to see a show at Mohegan Sun. We ended up passing on Mystic to hang out in the basement to play poker, pool and check out a late night movie in the theater room. We will have this place as a first choice if we ever do a weekend again.

This was the most beautiful property me and my family of 12 have ever stay at. With a group of adults, teenagers, and young kids. It is always hard to please everyone- this house did just that. We spent most of our time down in the game room that had literally everything. Night times were spent outside by the fire pit or in the movie theater. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could ever need. The beds were cozy and comfortable, and every room of this house was clean upon arrival. The property itself is beautiful and we did not want to leave. Thank you so much for having us, we will definitely rent again!

Using positive superlatives would be the only way to describe our brief stay at Orchard Manor Estate. As a group of ten family and friends, all of whom are senior citizens, we could not have found a better place to have our mini-reunion. The home is spectacular, spacious, suitable for all ages, and elegantly accoutered, lacking for nothing! The property is extensive and sitting out on the back terrace, overlooking the surrounding land, provided us with a serene experience of enjoying peace and the beauty of nature. Kudos to host Kerri and Caretaker John who were most helpful and attentive to any questions we posed from prior to booking until the time we checked out. All in all an extremely memorable experience!

Ourselves and our family rented this amazing property to stay, as we were having our wedding at a near by venue. This was a perfect house to enjoy summer, swim, lounge by the pool, relax in the hot tub, watch movies in the theater, play games in the basement, enjoy a fire in the outside fireplace and have plenty of seating for everyone for dinner. A+ property! Even better in person than in pictures! Will definitely rent again when we host our out of town family again! Love that the house had everything you need ( I mean everything!) to stay there. From extra blankets, towels, spices, pantry items, to pool floats and tennis racquets! This year was our Fifth Summer vacationing at Orchard Manor Estate. Needless to say,, our family has grown to love our time spent at this beautiful home. Kerri, the hostess, and John, the property manager were always available and so very helpful. This property is by far, a step above all the previous vacation rentals that we have had in the past.

Our family had an excellent stay at the Orchard Manor Estate! While there are some items that need to be tended to create a truly 5 star experience, most members of our family would be very happy to return to the property for another special event. (We have sent this list of items to the owner representative so I am sure they will be tended to in the future.) As mentioned in previous reviews, but worth reiterating, some of the beds are in spaces that are not private.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Orchard Estate and we cannot say enough good things about our experience. From start to finish, it was an absolute delight. John, the property caretaker was incredibly responsive and helpful, providing all the necessary information and promptly answering any questions we had. Their professionalism and warm demeanor instantly put us at ease.
Upon arrival, we were blown away by the property's charm and well-maintained exterior. The manicured lawn and tasteful landscaping set the tone for a delightful stay.
The interior of the home was even more impressive. It was immaculate and exuded a sense of comfort and coziness. The decor was modern yet welcoming, with a thoughtful touch in every room. It truly felt like a home away from home. The basement was a oasis filled with a pool table, ping pong, skeetball and a large movie theatre.
The kitchen was fully equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, making meal preparation a breeze. We loved having family dinners around the spacious dining table, sharing stories and making memories
The highlight of the property, however, was the backyard oasis. The kids were thrilled with the well-maintained pool, and we spent countless hours splashing and laughing together. The outdoor seating area was perfect for relaxation, and we enjoyed our morning coffees and evening cocktails under the stars.
In conclusion, our stay at this rental home exceeded all expectations!

It’s anyone’s dream to have 8 bathrooms, each family had their own. We really enjoyed all of the games in the game room what a blast! The theater room was filled with lots of dvd’s. John the property manager was great, anything we needed he made sure to get it for us. He also showed us how to operate everything. The home is absolutely amazing! I hope to stay there again in the future!

The house was perfect for our large multi-generational family gathering. The bedroom and bathroom on the first floor worked well for those with mobility issues. The multiple living rooms allowed people to spread out. The office was great for allowing someone in the group to do some work and not be disturbed. The only true disappointment was that the upstairs bedrooms were not queen sizes beds - they were doubles.
The basement and outdoor spaces had so many entertainment options that we really didn't need to leave the property.
We did a significant amount of cooking and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware and serving utensils (platters, large bowls, etc.).
Although the listing does try to make this clear, please be aware of the bedroom set up. Four of the bedrooms (one down and three upstairs) are traditional bedrooms off a hallway or living room. One bedroom has an adjoining playroom with two more twin beds, and three twin beds are in alcoves or rooms off of other rooms that are not private. This worked for our group, but may not for others.

What a beautiful house! Clean and well appointed. We watched Harry Potter in the theater, the cousins played basketball on the court and every amenity in the game room was enjoyed by all! Loading and unloading gifts and gear was easily accomplished from the garage right into to the house. John, the caretaker, was very responsive to any little need that arose. Everyone of us would love to come back in the summer!

This house is gorgeous and the whole property is just perfect! My family & friends went up for golfing + a night at the nearby casinos, and everything at the house was spectacular. There was plenty of room, the outdoor fireplace was lit almost the entire time, and we were able to spend one day outside on the tennis court followed up by a night watching football in the basement and playing games. Highly recommend this place to anyone with a large group who wants to stay active!

This home is a beautiful home! Perfect for a very large gathering. Heated pool was awesome. However, the jacuzzi outside was broken so we weren’t able to use that. Several of the toilets had issues flushing. The jets in the Master bedroom also didn’t work. Parts of the oven didn’t work. Many flies inside the home. Overall, we still had a great time, the property is beautiful. Saw families of deers. So cute. Just feel for all the money you pay to rent, everything should be in working order.

Our family had a lovely stay at Orchard Manor. The house is absolutely gorgeous. It has so much to offer, both inside and out. The house has many unique architectural features that really add to the ambience, as well as beautiful paintings and decor. We found ourselves spending a lot of time just looking around and appreciating the little details around every corner. It has spacious open areas and lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. The views are truly stunning from every window of the house. The windows on the first floor offer amazing panoramic views of the property and let in so much natural light. The basement is full of entertainment; it is impossible to be bored. Some features of the house could use some updating, but it didn't take away from our overall experience there. The property is very private and peaceful. We enjoyed seeing wildlife every day, especially the deer. It was wonderful to sit outside on the rocking chairs and enjoy the view. Lots of places to take family pictures. Our kids loved the tennis/basketball court. The pool was a lot of fun and the plentiful beach towels in the pool house were very much appreciated. We loved walking down the beautiful winding driveway to the orchard and picking apples. Orchard Manor is a hidden gem and the perfect location for a family getaway.
