About this house rental

Hosted personally by owners who live 10 minutes away. Blocks from city center, restaurants & night life, this cheerful, turn of the century bungalow is a great home base for your adventures in the Black Hills! One level living with laundry room in the back room. Contactless checkin with door code provided before checkin.

Our classic 1-story brick home built in 1904 boasts original craftsmanship, but has been recently renovated with modern amenities. We love this unique space and the history & stories it must have to tell within its walls.

This designated vacation rental is equipped with everything you need, along with a community cabinet with some cooking essentials if you choose to use shared items. New stainless appliances, gas range stove, full size laundry, and all new linens on new memory foam mattresses. Large smart TV to stream favorite programs along with a plethora of local channels will satisfy down time.

As locals of the Black Hills, we are delighted to share our favorite things to experience, depending on your interests. We have a long history of serving guests in the hospitality industry and have loved branching out in this new industry! We are always available if you need anything :)

The house is downtown in an old neighborhood but it’s very quiet. We enjoyed sitting out on the front porch in the evening. It was the perfect place to go to all the sights in the Black Hills. Very easy to get around Rapid City.

This house, on a quiet street just a few blocks from downtown, was the perfect jumping off point for touring the Badlands, Black Hills and Custer State Park. We loved the front porch and sat out there each evening before walking to dinner. The house was clean and comfortable.

A vintage bungalow which has been modernized and nicely decorated. Clean and well stocked, we enjoyed our stay as we explored the beautiful Black Hills.

Fun little bungalow. Nice base for exploring the Badlands, Black Hills, Custer State Park, Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse! Very clean. Our only caution would be that the eighborhood was a little bit "iffy".

This cute little house was perfect for me and my best friend. It had two beds and two baths so we could spread out. The neighborhood was very quiet and centrally located for us. Tai was wonderful to work with and answered all my questions. Would definitely stay here again.

This cozy small home is perfect for visiting Rapid City area. We did several day trips from this spot and came home to relax each evening. Super quiet neighborhood. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Within walking of downtown.

We loved the cottage. Very convenient to downtown and just a short drive to Mt. Rushmore and Deadwood. The owner was very accommodating to our last minute needs. Perfectly priced. I would definitely stay here again!!

This adorable home was very clean, well stocked, and comfortable. Both the front and back porch/patio areas were used in the mornings and evenings. The neighborhood was quiet and close to everything we wanted. It's definitely recommend this home and would not hesitate to stay here again.

We were very happy with this house! It felt like home and had everything we needed even though we were in and out a lot! The location was perfect for all of our wandering! Loved it and if we return to the area, we would want to stay here again! The beds were great too!

The host was very responsive and helpful. It is within walking distance to a number of restaurants and businesses. You could also hear the church bells which I thought were very soothing. It was a fairly quiet neiborhood. We would certainly stay here again and recommend to our friends.

My husband and I used this house as a home base for our adventures in the black hills. It was decorated so cute. Very welcoming and cozy. I love all the details of an older house. Admittedly, we did not spend a ton of time here as we were out visiting the sights, but it was great when we were there. The house had a wonderful location and was close to the downtown area. The homeowner was really nice and easy to get in contact with. I would definitely stay here again when we come back to South Dakota.

The bungalow is in an excellent location for visiting all the area attractions. Main Street is a short walk away and Safeway is a few minutes by car. The house was very clean, the beds comfortable, and the kitchen is well-equipped. We strongly recommend staying here!

This property was clean, cute and has a great backyard that me and my 7-year-old son enjoyed! The kitchen is well-equipped, the bathrooms were well-stocked and the pullout sofa bed (with plush mattress topper) was super easy to use and comfortable enough that I slept on it with my son for 3 consecutive nights and got good rest. My mother stayed in one room and our elderly family friend stayed in the other and both enjoyed their spaces. We visited Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, Jewel Cave National Monument, Chapel in the Hills, and a few downtown restaurants and this location was perfect!!!

South Dakota never disappoints. We were there the week before Sturgis Rally, decided to VRBO instead of taking our motor home. Great place to stay. Clean and close to everything in Rapid City.

The pictures of this property tell the truth. Decorated very nice. My oldest daughter has decided she wants a bungalow for herself someday! Comfortable beds, quiet location within walking distance to downtown, nice backyard, lots of hot water, games to enjoy a day in, some bunnies in the front yard, and a kitchen with all the basic cooking equipment. Our family of five enjoyed our stay here. Perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. Great hosts, very responsive to messages.

Our family of four had a great stay. The location was perfect to take day trips to Badlands, Custer, Wind Cave, etc, as well as was situated near many shopping options for groceries, restaurants and takeout. We would definitely stay again if/when we’re back in the Black Hills area.

Great place to stay to be close to downtown. About 30minutes from Mt. Rushmore and other attractions. Which is what we wanted, peace and quiet after a busy day. Seems like an area of city starting to rehab. Very cute house and comfortable beds.
