About this house rental

Located 20 minutes to Denver, 15 minutes to Boulder, 10 minutes to old town Louisville, Lac Amora is an established neighborhood that is virtually void of traffic noise and speeding cars. Just steps away from the house are hiking and mountain bike trails, but under a mile away from a Starbucks, supermarket, liquor store and restaurants. You can sit on the dock overlooking the pond while you enjoy birds of prey flying above the preserve while having easy access to all your necessary stops. Just a little further down the hiking trail is a small lake where bald eagles are nesting near by. The newly remodeled house has a wonderful chef's kitchen with a huge island, formal dining area and breakfast nook. There is also a wonderful sitting area with a view, where you can enjoy your morning coffee. This is really a large, comfortable, open and bright space that everyone can enjoy together. Technically speaking, 17 people can sit comfortably in one room. Walk out of the kitchen onto the newly built deck and sitting area, and right down to the over-sized patio with a large dining area, grill and hammock. Outdoor relaxation or entertaining, your choice. Back inside, the downstairs is a large family room equipped with a huge wrap around sofa, flat screen tv and a desk with a printer for all of your office needs. Just down a small hall is a convenient laundry room and bathroom. 3 bedrooms are located upstairs. The 4th can be found in the newly remodeled basement, along with the 4th bathroom, which is off of a large Rec Room. This space has another separate tv area and plenty of room for kids or adults alike to spread out. 3 of the bedrooms have full beds, so each can sleep 2 people comfortably, along with smart tv's. There is a full bathroom with a tub in the hall. The master bedroom is very spacious and bright. The super comfy queen bed feels like a king. There is no tub in the master but the over-sized shower is fantastic. There is also a smart tv.

There is plenty of parking in the drive way and on the street. Please respect our neighbors and limit parking to our drive way or in front of the house.

A few other things:

Multiple parks within walking distance.
Grocery and liquor store under a mile away.
Restaurants and shops are close.
Very conveniently located within 10 minute drive to breweries, shops, ice skating and movie theater.
Near the Westminster promenade and the Flatirons mall.

We enjoyed this house and would stay again. Friendly, helpful, and responsive host! Great, big, modern kitchen, which is well-stocked with kitchen items and gadgets and plenty of space. I appreciated the nice towels, washcloths, and nice hand soaps. The open space and trails are within minutes of the house and the neighborhood is great for walking. It’s very close to lots of great food/restaurant options, grocery stores, and other retail places. There’s a park right around the corner- a few minutes walk. The neighborhood was quiet, which we appreciated. We enjoyed our stay here and it was a good option for our needs.

Home was as advertised. Great for having guests while feeling like home. Our grand child loved the yard equipment and outdoors was as nice as in. Lots of room for people to lounge in different areas. Host was very responsive to communication. Would definitely return again.

This house was great for our family to stay during the weekend of our granddaughter’s baptism. We had many places to sleep and gather in this spacious house. It was well equipped and comfortable. Some of the family were able to enjoy the walking paths nearby. I would recommend this house!

The house is in a nice safe neighborhood with easy access to the freeway. We had a few minor problems that were quickly addressed and remedied. The house was very clean. The kitchen is large and nice for entertaining, although the couches and table were a bit small and uncomfortable. We had only two complaints the whole weekend: one, no wine glasses. We did find two martini glasses, but not the same. The second, the bedrooms do not have 4 queen-size beds as advertised. There is one queen in the master and the rest are double beds, which do not fit two adults and do not fit tall adults either. Other than that it was a great weekend stay.

We stayed at Lac Amora Retreat when our house flooded and we needed a place to stay that would accommodate our entire family. We were so fortunate to find Susie’s house—it was perfect for our needs. The house is comfortable and has absolutely everything you need. Susie was a fantastic host— she is responsive and kind. She allowed us to extend our stay day-by-day when our construction was delayed. The neighborhood is nice with paths and open views, and it’s conveniently located. I would highly recommend Lac Amora Retreat and Susie!

We came out to spend Thanksgiving with my son, daughter in law and grandsons. This was the perfect location for us since it was so close to my son and the home was perfect for hosting Thanksgiving dinner away from home. The trail system down the street was perfect for walking the dogs every morning. I'd definitely stay here again!

The property was just as advertised and was fully equiped. We were there for 30 days and each evening we felt like we were coming home! The host/ property manager was exceptionally nice and I could not ask for a better experience!!!

The play set in the back yard and the downstairs living room area were popular with kiddo. I ADORED the kitchen/island area-it was a common hangout area during our stay. Our dogs were very comfortable here too. Just a lovely, homey, super functional home. The host was also incredibly accommodating and friendly.

Beautiful home with comfy beds and everything you need in the kitchen. Kiddos enjoyed yard and there is a lovely walk nearby. Kitchen had everything you would need to cook including many dry staples like spices. We stayed in that area because we wanted to go to Boulder and Denver and it was conveniently in between. Communication was great and prompt. Lovely stay and highly recommend.

Plenty of room for all of us to spread out. Heat and AC worked great. Very well stocked kitchen, and linens were cozy. Loved the living room, and we had lots of laughs watching shows together. WiFi, and thanks for the coffees!! Hope to be back soon.

We had a great time staying at Susan’s home. The house was clean, spacious and exactly as described. If we needed anything during our stay, Susan was quick to help. We also really enjoyed the neighborhood — we had playgrounds within walking distance for the kids and great trails with a mountain view just done the street. Highly recommend!

From a day before checkin to check out, great experience. Clean, comfortable and cozy house. Location was perfect for visiting local attractions, but far enough to not be too touristy. Kitchen was gorgeous and where we hung during our free time. Would recommend to anyone wanting some quiet and access to trails, parks, cute breakfast joints, etc.

We came from Florida this week hoping to see some Denver city life but also the mountain life/views as well. This home was perfectly located in between both! The neighborhood had a breathtaking view of the mountains along with a lake and walking paths. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and the owner communicated with us on anything we needed. The downstairs is a full basement with a bedroom, living room and bathroom. The outdoors has a beautiful sitting area and playground. This really felt like our home away from home for the week and would stay again anytime we come to visit!

So very grateful Susan opened her doors and arms to allow our family to stay for an extended period of time after displacement due to Marshal fires. She went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed and even that our kids had toys to play with! The house has a great layout for meals, family time, guests…. Could not have asked for a better host during such a difficult time. Thank you again Susan!
