We booked this property as part of a company bonding fishing trip. House and property was as described. House was very spacious and accommodating to our group size. House was very clean and conveniently located a short drive to town. We would certainly book this property again if in the area without hesitation.

We have used this place multiple times. It is perfect for us coming by boat you have a dock off the sound in a creek that is perfect because your out of boat traffic and the weather. House accommodates your sleeping arrangements and is perfect for a mini or long vacation. Downtown Beaufort is not far and Hilton Head and Dafuskie is a nice little boat ride away.

We stayed here with friends for a weekend. Fantastic time

Perfect for family of 7 for a wedding. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms

The his location was perfect for our father’s fishing trip. Host was very responsive to my text messages. (Answered within a few minutes everytime). We used Holden On charters for the fishing trip and Capt Brian was also easy to communicate with and punctual. Picking them up at the dock at the house was awesome. The house itself is a little older and could use some updating, but it had room for all 10 of us and was comfortable.

Over all was a good stay but the house is a little questionable if I would consider it a 5 bedroom yes there are technically 5 rooms with beds but the only way to one bedroom is through another bedroom overall it’s a nice house with a good view

Enjoyed our stay. Will be back next year. Easy access by boat.

Hate to leave a non 5* review.
Upon arriving I messaged what I assume is the owner. I asked for the back porch to be cleaned so we could use it. Pollen issues. In which she said well it’s SC coast this time of year, it’s always rough. But contacted cleaners and asked them to blow it off. I told her it wasn’t a blow situation. It was mop and wipe. She said they would be by lunch on Saturday. They never came.
Given the per night fee, it would suggest an upscale experience. To that one of couches should be replaced. Immediately. I have pics.
For that upscale suggestion given cost per night- they should get some decent outdoor porch furniture. I have pics. Not saying anyone has to buy top end stuff. What they have is non functional.
In reading reviews prior to final decision I kept seeing that it was comfortable for 10+ people. I get that it’s possible. More so just warning for like 6 guys, it’s that’s about as much as it can take. Meaning for families that are siblings, etc shared beds that works. But for a handful of guys, you’re going to run out of beds.
It’s a beautiful setting there. 10-15 mins from town which was great on our end. We used the recommended boat guy who was great.

I can absolutely recommend this place! There are fantastic river views and a fishing dock. Sleeps 8 comfortably. TV in every room. Living spaces are very clean and comfortable. Kitchen is a bit older, but everything is in perfect shape and works great.
Easy check-in and everything was ready for us.
We left something behind and the cleaning crew / Host helped us find it right away.
Perfect VRBO experience.

Excellent trip. House was everything as depicted. Plenty of room for 12 of us. We had room for our bikes and some of the participants enjoyed the fishing from the dock. Pat always responded in a timely manner.

The property was amazing to stay at. Either sitting on the back patio or the master bedroom to watch the sunrise was breathtaking. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans to whatever lunch or dinner you want to make. My sister-in-law cooked crabs because how well eqiupped the kitchen was. We completely changed our dinner plans because of this. The rooms were well situated, especially the mater bedroom. For location to Parris Island, we were only a 15 minute’ish drive away, depending on traffic.
I would gladly stay here again and highly encourage, and recommend, to give this spot a chance.

We enjoy the quiet neighborhood , lots of space on the home and love the fishing area.

We had a great time and the location was perfect, we brought 2 boats and had a great time fishing and boating into Beaufort. The house had more than enough room to accommodate our family, the only takeaway was the cleanliness of the home. It could really use a good, deep clean.

Overall the property was gorgeous and had LOVELY porches, rooms, back yard, and dock. The home had such an incredible southern charm and we loved the high ceilings and large first floor living room, dining room, and study/game room. I wish we would’ve been able to stay longer to enjoy the kayaks, have a fire, and really take in the views.
We were only visiting for two nights for our sons graduation from Parris Island boot camp. We would definitely go back for a longer visit. Highly recommend, 10/10.
Also— we had 14 people, we all had more than enough room!

Our family stayed here for a weekend to enjoy the beach and fishing. We had a great time. There was plenty of room for our family of 12. One thing I really appreciated was that there were not a lot of little knick knacks on tables and flat surfaces for little hands to handle and break. Many times I have to go thru the house and try to move all the breakable items. Then I have to find where I put them before we leave. The views were amazing, and the sunset was beautiful. The kids really enjoyed the dock and the men enjoyed fishing. The only complaint was the internet. We could not have internet on our phone and use the Smart TVs. We got bumped off the internet a lot. There were no internet outages though.
Pat was very easy to communicate with. He answered any questions we had quickly. The house was easy to find and convenient to restaurants and stores. There were houses on both sides, but we still had a lot of privacy and it was in a very quiet, peaceful location. Thank you, Pat, for letting us stay at your beautiful home.

Overall was a good stay, enjoyed the property. A few exceptions to something things that could be improved. Exterior maintenance and internet needs improvement. But still enjoy everything and the lovely view.

we had a very pleasant stay. There was plenty of room and space. The kitchen had everything we needed and a few condiments too. I think you should include a picture of the back of the house. The communication was clear adn timely. I unfortunately did not look in the right place for the key access and had to spend extra money on a hotel room.
We had a catered fish fry by Bleu Spoons - came prepared and served a delicious meal. Cooked the fish outside. They had capabilities to sit up tables and chairs on lawn but we opted to stay in the ac.

Stayed here with family for sons Bootcamp graduation. It was perfect and we wish we could have stayed longer. Property equipped with every thing we needed and more. Even had a wheelchair which was perfect for my 80year old grandmother! I’ll will be visiting again!!!!

For months we planned our stay in Beaufort with friends and neighbors with intentions on a Memorial Day weekend filled with boating. The weather dictated otherwise, so we spent most of our time inside the house or in downtown Beaufort enjoying the restaurants. The house has more than enough room for a large group and is situated overlooking a creek and marsh where we did get to see at least one great sunset.
We did get a chance to launch the boats and cruise to Skull Creek in Hilton Head for lunch, and the house is literally minutes from the boat ramp. The floating dock was nice with plenty of water at low tide. In better weather it would’ve been an awesome place for boating, as you’re minutes off the river and within cruising distance of a lot of fishing and waterfront dining. Fishing off the dock is another option we enjoyed.
100% we’d book the house again and hope for better weather.

Everyone in our annual friendship reunion of 15 were highly impressed and enjoyed the stay. This place has a hugh master bedroom with a fall foliage mural on one wall directly across from a large sliding doors facing the evening sun. Absolutely Awesome. Also the private deep water dock built of aluminum is wonderful for fishing or just magnificent photography.

We stayed here with family and friends, about 14 people total, for my son's graduation from Parris Island. Less than 15 minutes to the base. Room for all to sleep comfortably and the dock and outdoor space in the back on the water was beautiful. If you have a large group for your Marines graduation, there is no other place you should stay!

We stayed with my family for our son’s graduation from Marine boot camp. The house was perfect loved the warm feeling of home. The backyard view is amazing. So close to so many restaurants and especially close to the base. Thank you so much for making our trip so pleasant. The owner Pat was so quick in responding to my questions. Definitely would come back for sure.

My family has been visiting Beaufort the last few years to celebrate Thanksgiving as it's a wonderful coastal city that offers many options for restaurants, fishing, and shopping. The house was exactly what we needed as it easily accommodated 8 adults and 5 children. We caught many fish from the dock and enjoyed watching the sunrises/sunsets each day. The owners where very responsive and made the checkin/checkout easy and clear. In addition, they went above and beyond to accommodate our needs for the week. I recommend this house for anyone looking for a large but simple rental with access to the water. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your rentail and we look forward to future stays.

This house was perfect for our family as we celebrated our new Marine's graduation. Great location, beautiful backyard, and good sized home. Could use a few updates, but other than that, it was wonderful!

We traveled down for my son’s graduation from bootcamp and had lots of family/friends so this was a great place to stay! House could use some updating but has lots of room and the view out back is amazing! We saw a dolphin one night! Pat was very responsive when we had any questions. Would recommend!

Graduation gathering
Every member of my party was in awe as they arrived, the house was beautiful. The available activities at the house itself allowed for every person, age 17-78 to be entertained. This was a great place for us all to gather as we celebrated my daughter’s success.

Great spot for Parris Island Family Stay
We sincerely enjoyed our stay at this marsh-based home! Having a family in town for Marine Graduation and with many teenagers in the home, the dock and marsh gave a great spot for fishing and hanging out away from the house. Our group had a memorable and comfortable stay!
