Beautifully Furnished Waterfront 3 bed/2 bath Condo in Bermuda Bay Community. A former model, Terrapin Cay has numerous upgrades. Accessible by elevator third floor single level unit has beautiful unobstructed water views from every room.

Comfortable and stylish furnishings. LVP in common areas and carpet in the bedrooms. Gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, designer tile floor and raised breakfast bar for extra seating. Sound facing large deck that is accessible from great room and primary bedroom.

Located in Hamilton Cay which is part of the Bermuda Bay Community in the heart of Kill Devil Hills. Offers a community club house with fitness center and pool (mini water park complete with lazy river and slide) from Memorial Day to Labor Day. May be open some weekends during May and September. Check pool for exact days and hours of operation.

It's a very convenient one-mile drive to the beautiful Kill Devil Hills beaches. At Mile Post 8.25, the community is convenient to all the local shops, restaurants, activities and attractions that make the Outer Banks the ever-popular vacation destination. The community is just across the street from the Wright Brothers National Memorial Park. Great area for launching kayaks or Canoes. Wetlands nearby.

Amazing decor, so many conveniences includung the wagon in the garage for groceries and luggage, and the porch and VIEWS!!! Host is fantastic and we have already booked for next year!!!!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful condo. We are a family of 4, with two children ages 8 and 6. It is a short drive to the beach access and has a great pool for families we enjoyed everyday. The location is great with lots of shopping and nice restaurants close by. The condo was clean with up to date appliances, great amenities, and was beautifully decorated. The view from the back porch was lovely and perfect to enjoy your morning coffee on or your nightly glass of wine. We will be back!!

Accommodations were great! Did a little childproofing and all was good. Very well supplied kitchen and beach items. Loved the decor! Comfy beds for restful sleep. Enjoyed the deck a lot. Nice breeze despite the heat. Manager very responsive to questions leading up to stay. Four adults and a toddler—we all liked Terrapin Cay at Bermuda Bay very much. Pool area a plus too. Definitely recommend.

This place was by far the best rental we have stayed in. All you need to bring is yourselves. Everything you would need is there including beach chairs and other beach items. Condo is stocked nicely and all they ask is you replace what you finish using. And can we talk about the views! You can see the sound from every window and we really enjoyed sitting on the balcony just to enjoy the view. The unit is partially handicap accessible which made it perfect for my disabled father in law. We were able to get a free beach wheelchair from the ocean resuce on the first day of our stay and they let us keep it all week long. The beach access was not very far away and with it being handicap accessible we had no issues bringing the wheelchair down the ramp. It was also nice that you can use the garage to store the stuff you do not need or want to bring upstairs. Owners were very responsive to our messgaes as well. We will definitely be booking here again!

The condo was perfect! I, my husband, our 5-year-old twins, and my in-laws all fit very comfortably. The listing was exact and even better in person. My only wish is that the bedrooms had curtains. The sunrise would always wake us very early and it took getting used to. The location was perfect, also. This was our first OBX trip and we loved how close everything we wanted to do was to the condo. Definitely do the Wright Brother's memorial! The views from on top the hill are gorgeous! We had an amazing time staying here! The condo had everything we needed. We tend to cook a couple meals while we are on vacation and the kitchen had every single thing we needed. Beds were comfy and the layout of the condo was perfect for us. We enjoyed the view from the porch as well. Highly recommend for families! It was super conveniently located to everything. We were so busy we didn’t get a chance to check out the pool so that’ll be on our list for next time! If I had to comment on anything, I’d say just bring bug spray. There are lots of mosquitos! We couldn’t get in our van fast enough without a few flying in. Made for an interesting drive out to the main road though! All in all, we had a wonderful time and really enjoyed staying here. The host was super responsive when I had a question as well! We will be back! Thanks so much!

The Condo was good and clean and had everything we needed for our weekend away. We enjoyed the convenient location right in the middle of things in KDH. The elevator for the building really made loading in a loading out easy. Would visit this spot again!

The condo is lovely, spacious, very quiet, and clean. There is an elevator for folks who don’t do stairs - we brought my 85 year old mother and this made it very convenient for her. The property has a private pier/kayak launch and the view from there is gorgeous. Excellent location, close to everything.

The condo is lovely. Appliances are high-end and furnishings and decor fit well into a beach cottage theme. Cookware was great and dishes were plentiful and lovely. The condo had everything we needed, including lovely views. We were there in March and it was very quiet, which worked perfectly for us. Overall, a wonderful stay, and we plan/hope to return.

Our family had a fantastic time at this rental! There were 4 adults and an 11 month old. The condo was well kept and incredibly clean. We also really appreciated being able to use the owner’s beach chairs, umbrellas, wagon, etc. which cut down on all the stuff we had to haul down. Our 11 month old loved the open concept and being able to crawl around from room to room and he especially loved the community Pool and had a great time splashing around the toddler splash pad area. Jeanne the owner was a great communicator as well! Would highly recommend!

This place was perfect for my family. We had beautiful weather and an absolutely enjoyed every minute of time we had with the family. My parents enjoyed themselves which I was happy to experience this time with them. The only sad part of the trip was leaving. We will definitely be back again next year. What a great place to stay! Lots of space for our family of four to spread out in the condo. A super short drive to beach parking, restaurants, etc. The view from the balcony was outstanding! The lazy river/pool area was a huge plus as well. Highly recommend!

My family had an incredible first visit to the OBX. This condo was perfect for me, my husband and our teenage son and teenage daughter. There was plenty of space to spread out and relax in the evenings. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals and heating up leftovers. The furniture and beds were comfortable and the kitchen table was perfect for playing cards and games. My husband and son enjoyed riding the bikes that were provided in the garage by the owners. The beach chairs and wagon provided came in very handy too! We loved our week at the OBX and our stay at this condo. We would definitely stay here again. The neighbors we talked to were lovely too. Overall it was an amazing vacation and we had no negative experiences.

This property was amazing for our family of 6. The views off the deck were by far our favorite. The community pool was a huge hit for our little guys- they must have gone down the water slide about 100 times 😂 The pool table and gym in club was used a ton too! We went to visit the outer banks with friends and stayed at this beautiful condo. It was perfect and it was also in a great location. It was well stocked with everything we needed and also nice views from every direction. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful, well-maintained property! As nice as the property looks online, it’s even better in person. The porch is larger than expected, and the amazing view of the sound is so serene and relaxing. The kitchen is well stocked, the furniture is comfortable, and there are plenty of pillows, blankets, etc. It feels like being in someone’s home rather than a rental. We truly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return. The whole rental process was smooth from start to finish. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Terrapin Cay in the Bermuda Bay Community with its stunning views, great location, tasteful, appropriate decor, comfortable beds, and a kitchen that was stocked with everything you could possibly need for cooking or entertaining made for a delightful and memorable vacation. Our host Jeanne Howard was receptive as well as helpful and check-in was a breeze. I would strongly suggest that when visiting follow the directions to the condo that come with the "instructions on how to get there." As easy as it is to find the condo (once you know where it is) using GPS sent us and our family on a fruitless pursuit. FYI! One of MY pet peeves when traveling is staying somewhere that does not provide enough towels. Terrapin Cay only furnishes one bath towel and one washcloth per person and only one hand towel per bathroom. Fortunately, I knew this ahead of time and brought several of my own towels with me. This issue did not, however, take away from everything else that this beautiful, and clean condo furnished. The bottom line is we would HIGHLY recommend staying at Terrapin Cay and if we are ever in the OBX again we will definitely if it is available, stay here.
