Deep Ellum:
Famous for its nightlife, especially when it comes to live music venues– where countless music legends have graced the stages of places like The Prophet Bar, Trees and The Bomb Factory. For dancing there's the Lizard Lounge, and for artisanal cocktails in chill surrounds, check out the Black Swan Saloon. And no night out in Deep Ellum is complete without a visit to the best dive bar in the country, Double Wide, and Dallas Comedy Club.
An ever-growing lineup of chef-driven restaurants, gastro pubs, coffee shops and casual mom-and-pop eateries has turned Deep Ellum into the city's newest foodie haven. Here, visitors can chow down on everything from mouthwatering barbecue at Pecan Lodge, artisanal pizzas at Il Cane Rosso and northern Chinese street food at Monkey King Noodle Co. to gourmet burgers at Twisted Root, pub grub at Angry Dog, haute cuisine at Twenty-Seven and don’t forget to check out Deep Ellum Brewing Co.

Uptown Dallas: take a stroll down McKinney Avenue in the evening and you will hear the sounds of lively chatter, laughter, lots of music and people unwinding after a day at the office. Picture lots of patio seating, with tables of friends having dinner and drinks, sharing stories of their days and running into other people they know, making introductions and socializing. Perhaps one of Uptown’s most appealing aspects, its social scene for young professionals just cannot be beat.
Downtown Dallas is definitely bustling during the day with commuters and professionals, but is all high-rise buildings and parking lots. There is hardly any green space or anywhere for friends or co-workers to gather outdoors. The recent addition of Klyde Warren Park on the north end bordering Woodall Rogers does help in giving some greenery, definitely. However, after five o’clock traffic settles down.

We stayed here for a few days while visiting Dallas. The property was perfect for us. Everything was clean and comfortable. My kids really enjoyed the game tables. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved the property and the renter. Everything was easy, clean, and worked great.
The property was close to everything in State Thomas and Uptown in general. Super easy. Even a Kroger close.
I would highly suggest this for anyone with a family coming into town and want a place to stay.

This property was great for a girls trip. They were stocked with hair dryers, q-tips, etc. It slept 8 girls very comfortably. Only thing missing is a few more full body mirrors. Overall 10/10!

6 of us stayed here for a conference in downtown. Owners were very prompt with answering any and all questions. The rooftop area was great. The rest of the house was very clean and modern. Would stay here again if ever in Dallas. The proximity is great to Downtown Dallas.

Really nice place. Very clean. Wish we could have been up on the roof outside more but weather wasn’t perfect for that. Only issue was the phone number for the owner isn’t up to date but we found what we were looking for.
Thanks for a nice stay!

We had a very nice stay and the unit was perfect for what we needed. We moved our son into SMU during the week and it was great to use the garage as a staging area for all the stuff we needed to buy. And, it was just off Rte 75 and only 2 miles from campus. It was functional from that standpoint. The neighborhood was ok. Just off a busy street. They are clearly trying to develop this area. We walked across the street to Dahlia's and up the street to the Troller Patio for a few drinks. Cool places. Neighbors were friendly but one of the units got into a big fight one evening and it went on through the night. As for the unit itself, it was pretty clean and worked well with 2 boys. My older one used the bedroom on the ground floor. Decent size room but bed was squeaky. My wife and I were in the main bedroom on the third floor. Big room but not much furniture to fill it. My younger boy was in the bunk bed, which wasn't a sperate room..it was off the third floor hallway. This bed was a nightmare. The smallest moved caused it to squeak and echo through the unit. This was a really bummer as it kept us up at night. The living room sofas were worn and in need of an upgrade. The TV was great with all the apps. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The roof deck was nice as we played ping pong at night. Overall, it worked for what we needed, clean, but some furniture upgrades needed.

Not all that I expected
Communication with host before checking in was great!
The walls are all scuffed up and dirty, but other than that it was pretty clean.
The NEST thermostats are TERRIBLE. We set the temp to 68 when we left for an outdoor concert in the 100+ heat and when we got back that night they’d reset to 80. It was 80 degrees when we were trying to go to sleep and it was miserable!
The bunk beds squeak so bad that I feel like when my son blinked we could hear it all the way in the other room…LOUD.
It’s basically four stories and very broken up, so get ready to climb a lot of stairs.
The hosts were very considerate to leave a bottle of wine in the kitchen, and lots of extras in the bathrooms.
The surrounding area seemed to be a little rough, but nothing bad happened. Maybe it’s in transition?
I wouldn’t stay here again, but if u want a party house that you can’t party in, (No blue tooth speakers and strict quiet hours) this is ok, I guess. Just make sure the best isn’t programmed to make u miserable if it’s a hot summer stay!

We only stayed one night for a concert, but this was a great location and space for 6 of us. The check-in was easy and the space super cute and clean. The owner was very responsive. We would have loved to have spent more time on the rooftop, but we were unfortunately rained out. Maybe next time!

Amazing!
This was the perfect place! So clean and the decorations were such a cute touch! The terrace is awesome! Eric was also SO great to work with!!

This was absolutely PERFECT. The space was amazing, decor fit the celebration atmosphere perfectly. Would definitely recommend this place to anybody that’s doing some type of celebration with a bigger group of people. My only suggestion to really top of everything (which already is a 10/10) would be to have a Bluetooth surround system added to the house.

Back for another visit
Absolutely love it here. This is our 2nd stay in this townhouse. It's wonderful. Hosts are excellent. The ping pong table on rooftop is a blast. We didn't lose any balls over the top like it seems you will. Be sure to enjoy the view from rooftop, too.
Try Lucky's Hot Chicken about 1.5 miles away or check out Greeneville street.
I'm starting to learn this area somewhat, so I'm sure we will be here for more stays.
Thanks Valentina for your hospitality.

Awesomeness
Photos are exactly 💯. Stayed for son's ring ceremony. Worked out perfect for our trip. Very safe feeling, as it was only myself and my mom. Awesome rooftop view. Games are as stated. Nice having coffee already on-hand.
Loved it so much, we'll be back next week for son's graduation. Eric and Valentina are wonderful hosts. Thanks for having us.
