I thought it was "Bed and Breakfast" but apparently no official breakfast was available.

Location was good - close to the station. House it quiet beautiful.
They provide coffee machine and basic spices, milk juice etc, which is a great idea for short stay guests!
Noisy guests, came home after 10pm and was talking loudly in the hallways and drinking downstairs.
Late at night I go to the bathroom, guy in Room 102 has door open watching as I walk into the bathroom. I lock the door and he proceeds to try to open the door while I am in there. I exit the bathroom and he is filming me from his bedroom with the door open. Felt very unsafe by the guy in the next room. Overall, I was nervous to go the bathroom again in the morning or shower here while that man was in the house. Apart from the incident with the guest, I actually liked the room as it was spacious and everything we needed for one night in Bern.

very close to the train station
long waiting for a bathroom as there is only one on the floor. would help if there is at least a sink in the room

Very close to the train station, affordable option on Bern, but with shared bathroom.
Kitchen equipments in German without translation. Difficult to make a coffee, impossible to use the microwave.

Very spacious room and a comfortable bed with extra bedding for warmth. The kitchen was very well equipped and the location was perfect for us as it's so close to the train station.
The shared bathroom needs updating as when showering the water pours all over the floor and the door is very squeaky which is loud and wakes you up during the night when other guests use it.

The location was great. I was worried it might be noisy being right next to the train station, but there wasn't much train noise with the window closed. There was plenty of space and the cost of the room was low. I didn't meet the property manager, but communication was good and the details of self check-in and check-out were made clear (even if I forgot them early in the morning and had to re-read my email). There are plenty of shared spaces in the building, so if you want to enjoy being outside or just outside your room (which was also spacious), it's possible to do that. There were only three rooms on my floor and I never had to wait to use the shared WC, so that was nice too.
The largest problem with this property is that the acoustics are such that any noise in the hall resounds throughout the building. Room noise seems to be fine with the door closed, but if someone leaves their door open, any sound they make will echo throughout the place. That was fine with earplugs in to sleep, but it bothered me more that any time I would enter or exit my room or the WC, I'd be making noise too, so, for me that was a little extra stress. The shared WC meant that when I arrived, the bath mat was already completely soaked (possibly from the shower itself - it looked like there was some side spray low to the ground that would shoot out when the shower runs, so that will probably be fixed for the future). The manager was already gone for the day, but the mat was replaced the next day and remained dry for my visit and wasn't a problem.
It's a great location for the price, so if you're on a budget and are ready for the hall noise, it's worth a stay.

Clean, tidy, quiet, super central - 10min walk to train station. Comfortable bed, clean shared bathroom. I loved the rules about showering between 6.30am - 10pm, to ensure it is quiet after 10pm. Affordable, excellent place for a short stay.

We liked that we could check-in early. The location is perfect especially for those arriving by train.
We loved the kitchen - it has everything including tea, coffee, milk, orange juice and various types of muesli, and also two ovens and a lot of dishes, pans, pots, etc.
We liked that we could leave the luggage but unfortunately there was not a special place for it and theoretically it could be taken by other guests (this point actually should be safe in Switzerland :) ).
We could hear all what was happening in the stairs and unfortunately not all guests are respectful. On the other hand, windows protected us well from the train noise.
Also there is no elevator.

We enjoyed spending the night in this place, The host was really welcoming, he offered us light breakfast and warm conversation about Switzerland. We would definitely stay there again 🙂

Charming, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet for being across from the train station. Right by the university.

close to train station, beautiful house and rooms (although not as spacious as fotos make it seem), easy self-check in and opportunity to leave bag after check out
expensive for what it is; no staff on site; rooms below were booked by a traveler group of girls in their early 20s and they made a lot of noise late at night - I had to ask them twice to keep other guests in mind who came for rest rather than partying. I don’t feel that’s my job as a guest and think the hotel should take care of such issues.

Good position close to train station and Inselspital
Old structure and DIRTY. Bad smell in the rooms. No soap/shampoo/hairdryer in the common terrible bathroom. We weren’t comfortable sleeping there, bed linen doesn’t give a clean sensation (3 person in 3 different rooms).
7.0
The room was spacious, and the location was convenient.
Overall the facilities are old. The door lock is loud, the bathroom does not have a handheld shower and the toilet is basic.
7.0
The room.
The location near the center city.
Bath shower out of order.
Kitchen without microwave.
