About this cottage rental

This newly built bungalow boasts an open concept design with custom details in every corner. The well thought out floor plan affords you everything you need including a full kitchen, island for both food prep and seating, bathroom, sleeping loft, comfortable living room, dining area, washer/dryer, and ample storage. The space has high ceilings and numerous windows to capture an abundance of natural light, providing a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Details of the house include refinished reclaimed wood beams and trim, granite countertops, concrete floors, oversized hand made barn doors, a cozy gas stove, and a brand new smart tv for watching your favorite shows on Netflix or Hulu.

Sleeping arrangements include a sleeping loft with a brand new queen memory foam mattress, which is accessed by a built in custom ladder. For additional guests or those who prefer not to navigate the ladder, there is a full sleeper sofa with updated memory foam mattress next to the gas stove. This space will comfortably accommodate a single traveler, couple, or a small family.

The neighborhood is centrally located to everything you would want or need during your stay. We are located less than a mile to downtown for your dining and shopping enjoyment. If you feel like staying a little closer to home, there are delicious dining options, a coffee shop, and one of Missoula's best breweries within a blocks of the house. The university is just a 2 mile walk or bike away, and can be accessed from the river trail. For those looking for an active getaway, include the North Hills in your morning run from the Water Works west trail head one mile away, paddle board the Clark Fork River, or walk to a morning barre class.

Our family lives in a separate house on the property and can be available to answer questions but will provide you with the space and privacy to enjoy your stay.

What a great experience in Missoula. We stayed over a weekend for work and to enjoy the college football game. It was a great place to relax and work from. Shower hot/cold is opposite what it should be but that’s an easy fix.

We loved this place! Ample room for the three of us and all the amenities we needed! Loved having access to a washer and dryer, full kitchen setup and a place to hang out. The hosts were super friendly and gave us all sorts of tips on things to do and places to eat. We are definitely rebooking this if we come back to Missoula! Thank you so much for having us!

My first Vrbo experience and was pleased overall. Stayed with my 16 year old son. Loft bed was comfortable and the sofa sleeper was surprisingly more comfortable than I imagined. All kitchen amenities you could hope for. Was close to U of M, clean, and comfortable!

My husband and I stayed here while we visited family. It’s in a great location, quiet neighborhood, and close to downtown. We had to work remotely for a bit in the mornings and the bungalow was nice and sunny, great internet, and enough space for my husband and I to get some work done. Great little kitchen with everything that you need and even a washer dryer. We wished we could have stayed longer but will definitely try to stay here again on our next visit!

The Westside property was perfect for my stay while moving my daughter to U of M. The location is a short drive to the campus and the downtown area. The property is just as the photos show, super cute and clean. Host was very responsive and gave us great recommendations for restaurants in Missoula. This property is in a great location, with great parking. It was just as advertised. It has all the necessities and was very comfortable. It also has the sweetest little covered patio out front that I enjoyed immensely. It was a great place to sit and read and drink my morning coffee. I would rent this property again!

The West Side Bungalow was so cute. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay. It was clean and cozy and the amenities were great. We did stay during a particularly hot week, so I might suggest that the hosts look into a window AC unit. Overall, a great place that I'd gladly return to.

Adam and I had a great time at the Bungalow. It was the perfect fit for what we needed. There was a one mile path leading to downtown that we used to walk back and forth. When we needed an Uber they were always accessible, quick and affordable (5 minutes max)! The ladder to the loft can be tricky if you are not nimble but we had no problems and only needed it when going to bed. Danielle and Austin are great hosts and gave us awesome tips for the next leg of our trip in Glacier. Highly recommend!

It is tourist season in western Montana and trying to find something affordable AND safe seemingly became a bit of a challenge. I send employees all over for trainings that require overnight stays. This is the first time I have tried with a VRBO. My employee gushed about how cute this place was set up, how clean it was, the neighborhood, and with meeting the owners of the property and how pleasant they were. Whenever we train in Missoula again this property will be my first inquiry and VRBO will possibly be the way that we go for extended stays in the future. Thank you!

The entire experience was excellent. The price was very reasonable and we were in a quiet neighborhood with easy accessibility to downtown Missoula and shopping. Our bungalow was clean and comfortable and the owners were great! However, this is not a place for anyone with mobility issues. The bed was in a loft. We had to climb a ladder to access the bed and once in the loft, we could not stand up because the ceiling clearance was quite low. There is a sofa bed in the living room area, though.

Very cute and well kept place. Perfect for two people who are in town to explore. Only thing worth noting is there was a cleaning list? I have never had to clean a rental, and be charged a cleaning fee.

An adorable VRBO with everything you need included. An extremely friendly, responsive and helpful host. Be prepared as the ladder is real, but easily negotiable for anyone without limitations. My only negative would be that it’s not walking distance to bars, stores, restaurants, and downtown (although that’s clearly defined in the description and was not a surprise). All things considered, this is a great place for a couple! Definitely recommend.
