The hot tub cover was very heavy. We couldn’t lift it. The inside steps going down to lower floor were very slippery. The floor molding in the hallway along the floorboards was missing. The keypad to get into the cabin would not work. Bed in queen bedroom downstairs was high and hard. Couldn’t get tv to work in downstairs bunk bedroom. Cell service is horrible

What a great place to get away and relax. This cabin is nestled up on the mountain and the view is amazing. Big enough for a bunch of friends or a bigger family. We really enjoyed the cabin

The porch was one of our favorite spots. House had lots of comforts. Beautifully decorated. The outside fireplace is a nice touch!

The view is spectacular, visit was peaceful, relaxing. Loved the firepit and entire family enjoyed the stay . Will definitely be back

This property had everything you would need or want for a long weekend vacation. Just be aware, there are no accessibility features anywhere in the cabin so if you have mobility issues, this may not be the best choice.

This cabin has plenty of room for 6 to 8 adult sized folks. The view of the deck was great. Relaxing sounds of the creek below. It was well stocked with kitchen stuff. All in all a great place to relax. Close to WCU if you have a student to visit there. Close to great places to hike, waterfalls to see, etc. Dog friendly. I would highly recommend this place to stay.

We loved this cabin. It was so nice inside and out and had everything we needed for a great long weekend stay. Great location at the end of the street too!

Loved the cabin. It was fully stocked, clean and spacious. The patio has an amazing view! Great location, you feel away but not too far away. Grocery store, fast food, & casino all about 15 min away. Would definitely recommend!

Nice cabin. Would book again.

Everything! It was a great stay! The kitchen was well stocked with different pans, seasonings, and utensils.

The hot tub was great

This property was great. Everything was just as they said it would be. Kitchen is well stocked, even an unopened vanilla ice cream in the freezer(and still is). Only stayed 2 nights, so my only complaint is that we only stayed 2 nights.

The property was situated in a beautiful spot, it was well equipped, organized and clean. We very much enjoyed the amenities, especially the hot tub!

Plenty of room. Thoughtful amenities and a view to die for. Absolutely fantastic.

This cabin was perfect for our extended weekend stay. Plenty of room for our family members. The cabin was decorated nicely and it was very clean. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The king sized bed in the master was comfortable. I didn't sleep on any of the other beds but all rooms were nice and no one complained. The twin bedroom had a bookshelf with a nice selection of children's books. The room with the bunk beds and futon had a gaming system with a few games. Hot tub was very relaxing and big enough for four people. We enjoyed sitting around the firepit and roasting s'mores. Great views although the cabin is not high atop the mountain. Very convenient to Smoky Mountain CC and Sequoyah National Golf, and casino. We would definitely stay here again. My suggestion to the owner would be to get rid of the futon and add a queen bed to that room. There seems to be plenty of room for it and would improve the sleeping arrangements for that room tremendously.

We enjoyed this cabin very much. The location is great and the view is wonderful.

The house has all the things you need like soap and cotton balls! Spices and other staples are in the kitchen. The hot tub was awesome!

Great place. No grill. The smell of sewage was bad.

Beautiful and well stocked cabin. I suggest replacing the sliding screen doors and upgrading the Wi-Fi. Add more kitchen trash bags. I brought my own and needed every one of them bc we had a house full.

Great location, beautiful cabin. However, there was little to no water pressure at the place. We had 8 people and had to rotate showers and use of dishwasher or nothing would work. I called and made a complaint with the rental agency and they informed me they would call me back and never did.
The interior fire place did not work. I called. And was told they would be out. And they never showed.
Lastly our automatic door lock did not work and we had to wait two hours for the maintenance man to come out and fix the lock. Which ruined our plans for the day.
Stay could have been better.

This cabin was in a great location and centrally located to all of the places we like to go…. Hiking, fly fishing, visiting the local breweries.
Great view from the porch! Indoor fireplace did not work while we were there. Reached out to property management and never got a resolution.
Overall great stay!

Great property. Rented for a family trip to Bryson City and the Polar Express!

Loved this cabin, it was perfect for our group!

Property is nice and very secluded. Pictures were exactly like the house. Only problem is we was not able to get into property until after 5pm. Cleaner was not done when we fot there. As for the wifi we might have jad it 8-10 hours during our total stay. I would just quit advertising it. No TV or internet for most of the stay. Made a call twice and never heard a response. Thanks, Benny

This was the most well-stocked house I have rented. They thought of everything you might need, from kitchen staples to matches to towels for the hot tub. The view was beautiful, and the layout was great for our family of 5. The location is convenient to Cherokee and Bryson City, and the drive not as trechorous as some other mountain houses where we have stayed. Highly recommend!

Excellent layout. Living spaces and Master at entry level (2nd floor). The hot tub, grilling area, and decks are all enclosed on this floor outside, great to keep dogs reigned in. Excellent yard with a lush lawn and fire-pit patio with comfortable seating. Downstairs offers 3 more bedrooms, one is laid out as a game room but can be used as abedroom. No cable, but wifi and smart TV's offer plenty of streaming TV (Netflix, Hulu, etc), and YouTube TV, just as good as cable. The home is located across the street from an excellent 18 hole mountain golf course that is very well kept, fun, and quite affordable ($41 after 2pm). Harrahs Cherokee Casino is less than 10 mins away. Beautiful Bryson City is 5 mins away. Fontana Dam is about 45 minutes.

Good quick process

Should not be in rental business the way they treat customers. Spent week with no hot water and grill that caught fire

The Acorn Lodge was a great "off the beaten path" destination. It was quiet and secluded, so a wonderful get away. It was farther drive to GSMNP than would have preferred, but liked the solitude and amenities.
Pros: lots of space, beautiful views, great usable deck space, lots of amenities.
Cons: not enough towels, couldn't get outdoor TV working.
Notes: well stocked kitchen with crock pot and many small appliances. Other reviews talked about K-cup coffee pot (so brought cups) but it has been replaced with a tiny 4-cup drip coffee pot. No cell service at cabin, but Wifi was stable, no issues. No TV service, so bring your streaming logins or HDMI devices.
Bottom line: This was a great place to get away, "unplug," and reconnect with family and friends. Loved the deck for morning coffee and the hot tub for relaxing evenings. The kitchen was well-stocked and large enough for "multiple chefs" to work simultaneously. We would definitely stay here again

Great location & beautiful Mountain View!
Spacious home, very clean with lots of amenities.

A group of friends and I rented this cabin for a week of day-hikes around the Smoky Mountains, plus some exploring of the local towns. This cabin was the perfect basecamp for us. Great layout, the covered outdoor hot-tub was amazing, and the kitchen was one of the most outfitted kitchens I had experienced with a short-term rental -- great knives, plenty of pots and pans, even a big selection of containers for leftovers.
The coffee pot is maybe designed for one or two people but that is the closest thing we had to a complaint.

Internet was spotty when trying to run multiple devices (TV's). Great views, sitting areas and space.
