About this house rental
New pictures just added! Stunning new remodel and now has 6 bedrooms, the pool area with cabana is the highlight of this bright and spacious home!
The coastal home at 39 Salt Cedar Lane delights inside and out, from the award-winning landscape design to the spacious, window-lined interior with details like lovely white trim and arched doorways--and spectacular views of Cinder Creek's serene marshes in the rear. A gracefully modern staircase curves up to a front porch with double entry doors flanked by Frank Lloyd Wright inspired windows. Inside, a generously sized great room with soaring ceilings, surrounded by two-tiered windows on three walls, takes advantage of the inspiring marsh views. There's a gas fireplace to one side and an open dining room to the other. The oak hardwood floors extend into an expansive, functional kitchen with a sunny breakfast nook, windows over the sink, and a glass door leading to a new sunroom with vaulted ceiling. The gas cooktop set into the center island is also new, and double wall ovens, two dishwashers, and an expansive Sub-Zero® refrigerator offer plenty of capacity for family gatherings. Both the sunroom and living room open onto a wide sundeck extending the width of the home. The highlight of the back area (aside from the amazing views of the marsh!) is the beautiful brand new pool and cabana area. The pool can be heated for $175 per day, four day min. Also on the main level a spacious master suite, tucked away in the corner for privacy. Its curved window wall frames views of the marsh, and a row of windows over the soaking tub in the bath offers more tranquil views reflected in a vanity mirror extending the width of the room. His-and-hers sinks, a large walk-in shower, and a wide walk-in closet with window complete the suite. Upstairs are four guest bedrooms with marsh views; one is en suite and enjoys a walk-in closet, while two share a full bath. Located in desirable Falcon Point on a private cul-dec-sac surrounding a pond and marshland on Kiawah's eastern tip, with access to the neighborhood's deep-water pier.

We rented this home for a family vacation with 8 adults, 1 3 year old, and 2 babies. It was perfect for our group, with plenty of room to spread out. The pool is beautiful and the perfect way to start the day with an eager to swim 3 year old. The kitchen is large and includes 2 dishwashers, which I initially thought was such an extravagance until we used both daily!

We had 14 in our group. The house is very spacious and we did not feel cramped. It is very well stocked with spices, cooking pans, storage containers, and many other kitchen necessities. The house has 2 fridges and 2 dishwashers which we did not realize before arrival. This was very convenient for a large group like ours. The pool was great and the view was amazing. I would highly recommend this house! I gave the property management 3 stars because we called several times before our arrival with questions and the person answering the phone was not very helpful. It's hard when planning for such a large group and knowing what is in the house would be beneficial. We certainly overpacked the kitchen items because we didn't know the house was so well stocked. Overall, this is a great house!

This is one of the few homes that was more beautiful in person than the pictures. Wonderful location. We had a few unexpected and unintentional issues that were addressed immediately. Highly recommend.

The house is terrific, but we had a problem with the management company ESPM. The built-in SubZero kitchen refrigerator doesn't seal fully. ESPM was aware of this before we moved in, but they didn't tell us until we noticed that after a day of use, the fridge had gotten far too warm (60 degrees F) and complained. Only then did ESPM inform us that they were already aware of the issue and had ordered a replacement part, but it hadn't arrived. We ended up using the garage and cabana fridges instead, which was a nuisance. I wouldn't have minded too much if they'd informed us in advance, but the fact that they knew about this and didn't tell us was just plain irresponsible. Our food could have spoiled. And since there were a lot of us, we're talking a lot of food. On Thanksgiving no less. I'd rent here again only if the house owners found a more responsible management company.

Some items to address during our stay:1.Pool heat was not turned on until the 3rd day of our stay.2.Master bedroom and upstairs lounge room TV's did not work at all. Outside TV had limited connection (Big reason we rented the house was outdoor-area).3.Outside fireplace did not work at all. Grill took 20 minutes to get to 400 degrees.4.Kitchen fridge did not stay cold.5.Need more outside trash cans.Overall the house was great and very well stocked.I do hope in the future the management can address these issues before guests arrive.We do look forward to renting through ESPM again.

Overall was good outdoor space. However, was disappointed that wifi was not working and a temporary set up had to be established for access in the living room only. This impacted the use of the outdoor TV and outdoor space as it was not functional, as we had to be in living room to use any wifi. Management company was responsive to at least find a temporary fix, but owner was not understanding of its impact as dismissed several requests for credit. We booked the house for the outdoor space so that put a damper on its use. .

We had a marvelous time with our adult children and grandbaby. The marsh view was gorgeous and so peaceful. The home is very well appointed dor a rental. The pool, outdoor kitchen, & living space was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The baby loves water and had a ball on the sun ledge, as well as floating and splashing in her float. Our daughter-in-law was able to work, remotely, from the lovely office, tho lost internet service a few times. The internet was spotty for all of us, in fact.
