Two minute walk to gorgeous (uncrowded) beach, only 10 min drive from historic st. Augustine. Perfect location. Cottage was very clean, nicely decorated, and stocked with basic supplies. Host very responsive to questions and reccomendations.

We loved everything about the Capo cottage. It was right across the street from the beach but in a very quiet neighborhood. Our 3 year old loved having her own queen sized bed and private bathroom. It was the perfect distance from the hustle and bustle of the city.

For our beach-loving, surfing, kayak-fishing, foodie family, you can’t get better than Vilano. And to enjoy Vilano, you can’t get better than this cottage! We enjoyed the easy beach access, walking/longboarding to the pier for sunsets, and the convenient location to St. Augustine. This is a great location for families with kids just under driving age as there is a lot to do within walking distance. The layout of the house itself is great for families and the cottage itself has that bit of “Old Florida” character that we love about Vilano.

We enjoyed our stay and would stay again! Beach access can’t get much closer! The house was clean and had everything we needed.

This 99 year old cottage doesn’t realize how old it is. Having undergone a complete renovation, it is lacking nothing. The two full size beds are very comfy. The twins might be better suited to younger guests. Both baths are en suite but worked well for our family. There are plenty of towels and more beach towels, toys and chairs than I have ever seen in a rental. Literally a minute to the sandy beach.Easy access to town and more history than you can take in. Prompt communication with the hosts makes for a worry free stay. Forgot the yard…. it’s perfect for outdoor conversation and dining. Choose this cottage and enjoy1

This place was great. It was so close to the beach and town. It had everything we needed for our family of six. The neighborhood was quiet. The beach was beautiful. The house was adorable. We will definitely come back.

The cottage was adorable. Nicely decorated, clean, conveniently located. Walk to the beach was no problem as we had to cross the street.
Big back yard, plenty of seating.

The cottage was great, it suited our needs and was within a very short walking distance to the beach, beautiful fenced in backyard. The beds were very comfortable, the bedrooms were clean along with the bathrooms. The location from town was perfect! There were a few things that may need updated but overall it was a very nice home and would absolutely stay there again.

Our almost 2 week stay at this property is summed up in one work - perfection! We love the Vilano Beach area and was so happy to discover this property. Our intent was to enjoy the sun, sand & surf after getting through a long, cold winter, and we couldn’t have been more satisfied. The property is literally a stone’s throw away from the beach, and we took advantage of its’ location morning, afternoon & evening! The quiet beach is fabulous with sand to sink your toes into & shells to collect, and perfect to walk our fur baby, not to mention spending lots of time crashing into waves!
Joey was fabulous to communicate with, always prompt in answering any questions we had - but to be honest, the property was so awesome, we didn’t need to reach out at all! It was clean, spacious, had all the amenities we needed & the enclosed porch area was a perfect spot to read a book - it truly was our home away from home :).
I also want to mention that the property is located in a nice, quiet, safe neighbourhood with its’ own park - we felt very comfortable walking the area. It is also located less than a 5 minute drive from Publix which was very convenient.
We cannot wait to return next year - thank you Joey for everything.

This little cottage was all you would need. Joey and Christian were welcoming, helpful owners. There was nothing more that we could have wanted.
We asked for help with the TV and some other small things and they were there that very day.
Kudos to them!

The house was in a perfect location for us. Just a short walk to the beach, a short drive to grocery, just across the bridge from all the sites of St. Augustine and close to many seafood restaurants. The house had plenty of space especially with the extra enclosed sunroom. Very clean and well decorated. Owner made sure we were able to get in and was great at communicating quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent beach cottage
Very clean (other than dishes, many of which needed to be washed again - host probably assumed if people put them away they were clean) and well decorated. Comfortable and lots of room. Kitchen well stocked. Lockbox very easy to operate. Host easy to communicate with and wanted a text to make sure we got in - which I appreciate. Left us some coffee and tea, water, and a bottle of wine. Very close to beach and great off street parking. A little weird that both bathrooms are inside bedrooms, but I know old places can be hard to add bathrooms to. We were two couples so it did not matter. Only issue was when we arrived the smell of air freshener was overwhelming and obnoxious. There were 5 plug in fresheners in the main area!! We unplugged all of them and it gradually faded. Were worried that it was covering something but it was not. Cottage smelled just fine and very fresh once perfume faded.
