I
The location was awsome!
Didn’t like the uncleanliness of the place.
Dirty shower curtain
Doors need to replace
Outside appearance of the building ect
For the price. I will not suggest this villa. There are much better prices for less.

Overall, we were happy with our stay. We did have an issue with check-in as the local contact did not answer our calls and we had difficulty locating the unit. There is no AC in the main living area, and it was quite warm even with the fans. However, the bedrooms were very cool and comfortable. The beds were comfortable, too. We only had four towels for four people for five nights. It took some effort but they did bring us additional towels on day four. Others noted a musty smell and I agree.
Upon return, all of my belongings had that musty smell.
The best part is the location. It is an easy walk to and from town and to the market. We all left saying it was a great value for the price, but we did give up some of the comforts we are used to on vacation. I would recommend for anyone on a budget.

Wonderful location and comfortable accommodations

Nice place overlooking tennis courts, walkable to many restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and the ferry/marina. There is a Jeep rental place next door that power washes Jeeps in the morning, so that noise can be aggravating.

The location is awesome - walk to everything in town. The place is small, but it has everything you would need.
My only complaint is that the unit is very musty smelling. We let our 3 older teen/adult children stay in this unit and my husband and I stayed at the inn across the street. I would not have been able to sleep in this villa with the smell. My kids didn't mind it. There were also no extra linens for the pull out sofa.
It says it sleeps 6 - but it would be tight. All 5 of us were originally going to stay here, but I'm glad it was only the 3 kids. With luggage and dive gear - space was limited.
Staying in-town can be louder than a villa further out. Sometimes cruz bay gets loud from bars and such. Just realize that if you are debating this villa to one further away from town.
Walk to provisions for breakfast! The ham and cheese croissant is awesome!
And, this unit has easy parking (a rarity in St. John!)

The location is great. The apartment was a bit basic and not as clean as we would expect. It felt like it had a "wipe down" instead of a full cleaning before we arrived. Our check in email did not mention what apartment was ours. We walked into the wrong one by accident (same door code seemed to work for all apartments : 0 ) The apartment had an issue with ants. They would quickly swarm any food left out on the living room coffee table. The beds, AC, fans made sleep comfortable.
Overall, we enjoyed the good location. Easy walk to the grocery store or restaurants in the main part of town. For what we paid, we expected a cleaner and better-taken care of rental.

Location is central and nice
Apartment was nice. Not too many amenities. The neighborhood is loud and a lot of construction going on at the property and nearby. Hot water runs out real fast.

Island Villa
We had a wonderful experience at the Villas at Cruz Bay. The villas have an app with tons of information. The owner was responsive and easily accessible. The villa was perfect for our family of 4 and walkable to many restaurants. We had an area to park our rented jeep and there’s a market right down the street to stock up on essentials.
