Everything was as described and great central location. Would stay here again!

We found the property easily and entered with our code. The house was very clean and the living space was open with plenty of windows to look out into the woods.
I liked that the house had just enough furniture and not a ton of Knick/knacks or decor. This made it feel very clean and almost a “blank canvas” to imagine ourselves at home. I wish we would have brought our dog since it is pet friendly. We would have felt even more at home and he would have had a lot of fun!
Kitchen had just enough supplies for cooking meals and even some basic seasonings! Although we brought our own coffee, there was even a starter supply of that, as well as ice in the freezer! There were plenty of towels and basic paper items and cleaning supplies.
The WiFi worked great and the smart TV was nice to have on while relaxing or cooking after a day of site-seeing. There was also a fun selection of games and puzzles. We mostly used one of the decks of cards.
Outside, the gas grill was ready to go with plenty of propane. We enjoyed chicken and burgers! The fire pit area was great and we had a short fire with spooky stories and s’mores one evening, until it started to rain on us.
I also really appreciated that we weren’t required to have all the garbage out, beds stripped or dishes done. Although we did most of those things anyway, it made the morning of check out much more enjoyable. Not having to mess with that.
This was such a great property to stay at. I recommend it for sure!

The house and property itself was very clean; nice and simple amenities for a small family or group of friends. The location made it very easy to head into town on the fourth of July weekend. Definitely felt at home here. Overall, great stay!

This property is a gem. In the center and close to popular DC towns, but remote enough that it is a quiet stay in the woods and you can see all of the stars AND we even saw a bit of the northern lights. Owner was incredibly responsive and the house was extremely clean; beds and furniture very comfortable. No issues whatsoever. If you are looking to be in the center of it all, this is not the house for you. But if you want the best of both worlds for DC--this is the perfect place to stay.

My mother, sister and I had a nice stay here while we were exploring Door County.

We enjoyed our stay at the Cedars. The home was quite comfortable and well equipped. The property is also situated amongst beautiful cedar trees in a rural setting which was really nice. One of the highlights was the convenient location and close proximity to Fish Creek, Ephraim and Sister Bay. We would definitely stay there again!

Our group of ten guys had an absolutely amazing weekend.
With a couple air mattresses we were good to go at night and during the day it was great to just hang out and relax. Also only a quick 7 min drive to Sister Bay for groceries and a couple of the bars.
TV, games, and a nice large couch helped keep everyone busy. Only downside was we were not able to use the fire-pit due to previous guest misuse.
We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a perfect getaway with a larger group.

This place was great for the 5 of us girls to have a nice little getaway. It was spacious and very clean. It was close to everything so that was very handy. The only suggestions I have is that we could have used some mirrors in the bedrooms for getting a bunch of girls ready to go out. Also-needs more wine glasses. Lol. The water is very stinky so taking showers was not enjoyable. Good thing we brought lots of bottled water. Overall the host was very good about getting back to us and the house was comfortable.

This home is perfectly located to enjoy all Door County has to offer. It's situated in a private wooded setting yet a close bike ride to the town of Ephraim and waterfront. The home is very clean and has all conveniences needed to enjoy your stay. There is internet access, which was helpful due to the fact I had to work a few days and conduct a virtual video meeting - no stalling or issues with the connection. We'll definitely be back to this peaceful home in the woods.

My friends and I had a great time at this property! Clean, open, and full of movies, games, and helpful resources for our stay. The home is close to many tourist areas in Door Co. and we enjoyed the entire weekend!

This house was surprisingly spacious, very clean and quiet. Perfect for medium size groups (we had 7 people) and the fire pit allowed for a nice group bonfire hangout outside. Check-in and check out were very smooth. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time at this secluded home in the woods. We planned a biking trip to Door County and were able to ride our bikes from the house to Penninsula State Park. It was great to hang out by the fire pit in the evenings and play board games, and the house was well stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Thanks again, Mike!

My husband, mother, and two children stayed here in late summer. The house was fantastic - great open layout for keeping an eye on young kids while getting food ready and no stairs to keep the baby away from. Two clean bedrooms, one clean bath. The sunroom area was wonderful for viewing nature and the low deck got plenty of use both day and night. You are surrounded by cedar trees and the night sky is endlessly filled with stars. I sat outside chatting with my mom one night and we could satellites, and even a shooting star! The stepstool in the bathroom was perfect for young kids and washer dryer was great to have as well. Location was about 6 minutes from Sister Bay, 10 each from Fish Creek and Bailey's Harbor - well situated to explore nearby. Had a great time and would love to go back.

Family getaway
This place was perfect for me and my sister along with our husbands and a few kids. Well stocked kitchen and plenty of bedding and towels. Wifi is not reliable, so some members of our group had to go to coffee shops to do a bit of work. I would return!

Girls trip
We were a party of 8 girls. It was my very first time doing a VRBO. This is a summarized description/experience of the house. I wish I could fit everything on this summary. This house was a perfect fit for our friend group. There was enough space for everyone to sleep. The house was clean, very cozy and extremely beautiful! Easy check out and check in instructions. Restaurants, shops, and other attractions were super close by. Dinner table fit all of us. The couch fit all of us. Clean and comfortable bed sets, pillows and mattresses for everyone to sleep. Kitchen was easy to cook and move around in. The only suggestion I have is to add more chairs for the fire pit and don’t forget to bring plenty of bug spray. Mosquitos are ruthless out there. I highly recommend this house.

Great Accommodations in a Beautiful Setting
We stayed at this rental for a weekend with some friends, and everything was great! The cabin is very clean and comfortable, just perfect for hanging out and relaxing after a day exploring Door County. Big positives for us included the full kitchen and central location on the peninsula for easy access to everything.
I'd definitely recommend this rental to friends and would rent again in the future!

Door County Weekend
Overall - this house is perfect for a weekend get away. Tucked away but very close to everything. Only issue was the heat/thermostat wasn't functioning properly.

GREAT location/ COZY cabin
This cabin was absolutely perfect for our Fall weekend in Door County. The kitchen and living space were open and a great place to gather to watch a Brewer game, play cards, eat, drink and make wonderful memories. The kitchen had everything needed to make any meal. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was clean and soft. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The location was perfect you are 10-15 minutes from Egg Harbor, Fish Creek, Bailey's Harbor and Sister Bay. It was the perfect place to be. We are looking forward to booking this cabin again.

Private Getaway yet Close to it all!
This property came fully equipped with many special touches and the owner was available for questions and responded promptly during our 3 night stay. We loved the smell of the cedar wood for the bonfire, the indoor fire, large kitchen, 3 acres of woods for excellent star viewing and exploration in nature,...including finding the most unique mushrooms!...the photos do not do it justice...Alexa, books, movies and game choices appealed to all, windows in every room to enjoy the views of the woods, comfy beds, ceiling fans and even first aid kit, sunscreen and bug spray were appreciated. We ate out each night so didn't take advantage of the deck with BBQ . Plenty of towels so we didn't have to do laundry...and beach chairs and towels too. Hot water heater allowed for 3 hot baths in a row, another plus. We were pleasantly surprised at how rural this location was yet we were just minutes to where we adventured...close enough to.go out, come back to regroup or rest, then head out again. On a quiet street where short bike trips would be lovely or could venture from here for longer rides. Wish we had more days to spend because we could have used more time just enjoying the space and quiet to recuperate, lol. We would stay here again!

Off Season Couple Vacation
We rented this property in late September/early October. The house was exactly as advertised. We made a few simple meals during our stay and found the kitchen well stocked with everything we needed.
We especially liked the fireplace, which we sat in front of on cool evenings.
The location is great -- the area was quiet and situated at a central location from which to explore the peninsula.
