House was ok. It was a bit dirty and tons of bugs. Deck and dock were unusable. Deck had no usable chairs and dock was clearly broken and unstable.
We were really hoping to kayak but due to broken dock that was not possible.
Also it doesn’t have central AC. You need to turn on upstairs and downstairs window AC’s if you want house to cool. It took about 10 hours for whole house to cool down to comfortable temps.
Also it is 3 flights of stairs down. Need to make sure someone in your party can carry bags up and down that many stairs.

The stay itself is beautiful. It had a well-stocked kitchen and wood pellet stove. However, if there is any issues during your stay, you will be waiting awhile for help. When we arrived, a window was broken and the temperature outside was quite cold. We contacted the local host several times with no answer and eventually reached out to corporate management. It still took two more days to get the window fixed. The house itself could use some maintenance- e.g. slow draining sinks in all the bathrooms. The wood pellet stove was also lovely, but we had to buy our own pellets and figure out how to run it as there is no manual. Again, absolutely beautiful location, but be forewarned.

A gem location. Wonderful view! Pleasant decor. One problem: the shower (there is one) does not work properly. Only a dribble of water . Sufficient pressure to shower (barely)but not to wash your hair. Had to do that in the kitchen sink!!! Please fix! Would love to return contingent on the correction of that issue.

Good location and beautiful view

Very disappointing. Trash all over the street and property when we arrived. The place needs some TLC...water marks on ceiling in kitchen, trim needed nailing on, chairs on deck falling apart . Great view but windows filthy. Yard needs mowing. Twin beds very uncomfortable. A window in each bedroom wouldn't close. Contacted Vacasa because the door key pad stopped working so we couldn't lock the door when leaving. Were told there was a key hidden in a lockbox but the code we were given didn't work. The number of local support phone was never answered so texted and never heard back acknowedging my text.

This is one of the few properties we’ve stayed in that is a true disappointment. Charging the amount that was charged was not appropriate for the condition of the home or the lake access/dock. When we arrived the temperatures were in the high 80’s and the 1 swamp cooler in the upstairs bedroom had not been turned on. No one was able to sleep the first night. The lake access and dock is a bit of a joke. The 2nd day, we happened to find another swamp cooler and installed, set it up downstairs. That helped some, but there are no shades in key areas to help keep the house cool. Many of the windows do not have screens so you cannot open the windows to allow for a breeze due to the bugs. The condition of the home and furniture is also in mediocre to poor condition. The outside furniture is not something I would feel comfortable providing in a rental situation. After 2 nights, we left early (intended to stay 8 nights). I would not recommend this property in the summer.

Looks good in picture but reality is really different. The toilet and shower were not working. Toilet waste was coming up through the floor. Working with the local property manager was very difficult. Parts of the kitchen trim were in disrepair and snagging clothes. The ceiling had water marks in a few areas. The outside deck chairs were falling apart and could not be used.
Spent most of the time waiting for someone to come and do repairs instead of enjoying our vacation.
We finally had to move out earlier than planned after waiting for a response from the company. We were then given another property that was worse and smelled of mold. We did not stay and had to incur the expenses of a hotel.
We requested reimbursement for the inconveniences and lost days of our vacation and to this day have not received a response.

The house was a perfect spot for our family of 4. It's honestly just like the pictures. Very cozy and we felt at home immediately. Location is convenient to getting to many places in the area. And make sure you get up to see the sunset at least once during your stay--truly beautiful. We look forward to returning to this property again in the future!
