About this cabin rental
Located at the Little Missouri River at the historic Old Factory Site. This 2 story cabin provides all you need (and everything you don’t) to get away and LIVE LAZY! One of very few homesites located near a trout release point. You can get your gear and walk right to the river to start fishing!
The cabin's interior is a combination of rugged log cabin with a modern flare. The finish out is clean and simple yet continues to remind you that you are tucked away next to the Little Missouri River. This fully furnished cabin allows you to walk in and immediately GET LAZY! The downstairs has an open living/entertaining space with a full kitchen, dining area, and living area that stays the center of all the action.
As you make your way to the back of the cabin you will find a full bath and full laundry room. At the very back of the cabin are two queen bedrooms separated from the living space so you get the rest you deserve! Upstairs is an additional queen bedroom, full bathroom, a hang out area with 1 queen fold out couch, and access to the balcony perfect for your morning coffee. As you make your way back down stairs and outside, you will find wrap around porches that lead you to the back of cabin entertaining space. This space includes a fire pit, park style charcoal grill, picnic table, and outside games. Wildlife is plentiful, it is not out of the ordinary to see deer in the yard, eagles flying over head, and trout swimming in the river!
The Little Missouri River is controlled by the Hydroelectric Dam which is used to generate power. The river will rise as much as 3 feet when generating. The generation schedule is subject to change without notice to meet power demand. In addition, the schedules from SWEPCO only reflect releases through the hydropower facilities and do not include normal U.S. Army Corps of Engineers releases.

This property is just as described, maybe even better. We had a group of women visiting from San Antonio to celebrate our rock-hound friend turning 40
We had looked at a few options-other houses and hotels, but found this little gem! amount of peivacy/but not too far out.

This cabin was amazing! Really beautiful. Super clean. Well appointed. Beds were very comfortable for a rental property. Probably one of the better mattresses I’ve had on vrbo. The communication with the host was great. Easy to find and a short walk to the river. The cabin is well appointed. No extra rules or hoops at check-in (which I’ve come across before). The process was peaceful and easy. Exactly what you want on a vacation. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful cabin! Very clean. Love the wrap around porch and the various outdoor games. The men love the location to the river for fishing.

The cabin was nice, very roomy and clean. It has a full kitchen. There is everything you need to dig for diamonds and gems at the crater of the diamond. We enjoyed our stay.

This cabin lives up to the pictures and the description provided. It was one of the cleanest and most up-to-date places I have stayed and plenty of room for the six of us(ages14+). The cabin was close to the Crater of Diamonds State Park (about 15mins) and if I chose to revisit the Park I would want to stay there again. Travel dates 7/31/24-8/3/24.

The description of the cabin was very accurate and very comfortable. Everything we needed was readily available and the area was really nice for our party of 5 adults and two preschool boys.
I have only one suggestion--the hinges on the downstairs bathroom and bedrooms sqeaked loudly and woke sleepers up. They probably need a little oil. Other than that our stay was excellent.

This place was amazing and exactly what we were looking for. The house was spotless and the host was very quick to respond to all questions. We loved wading in the river in the evenings. It was the perfect place to stay when going to Crater of Diamonds.

Everything about the cabin was amazing!! Only thing that you have to keep in mind is that it's located in a dry county! If you are planning to indulge in adult beverages, bring it with you!! The neighboring county in Nashville ARKANSAS is also a dry county! I will definitely be staying here again!!!

The Lazy Trout cabin was the perfect get away! The cabin was immaculate. The decor is fresh and attractive. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen facilities were complete and modern. The air conditioning was excellent and the showers were great. Communication with the owner was always prompt and easy. The cabin is only a short walk from the river. The river wasn’t very deep there but it’s within 5 miles from the dam and we’re able to fish at a beautiful place about 3 miles from the cabin. There are not many restaurants close by rut it’s a nice ride to Nashville, Arkansas for dinner. There are aqlso a couple of restaurants in Mufreesboro - Telinga’s was really good. It’s a short drive to the Diamond Crater state park.
There were four adults in our party and the cabin accommodated us perfectly. I don’t want to forget to mention the fire pit around which we sat each evening with a glass of wine. It was a lovely finish to a perfect day! I highly recommend this location!

A great cabin to stay for a relaxing 3 days. It had everything we needed as well as a short walk to the river and drive to the lake. We enjoyed ourselves a lot. Beds were super comfy and cabin was nice and cool inside. Morning coffee on the porch and evening smores at the back. Lots of room for board games and movie watching as well.

We really enjoyed the property and it was perfect for the six of us. It was clean, nicely decorated and felt homey.
My only suggestion would be to have some firewood available for the fire pit area.

We stayed two nights and loved it! Beautifully built, furnished, and decorated cabin up the hill from the river. Not far from the diamond mines where we spent one day and then back to the cabin to grill burgers and make s’mores around the fire pit. Would definitely recommend this place!

Family from Texas and Illinois met to celebrate a 70th birthday. Cody was very responsive and quick to respond to questions and changes to our reservation. The cabin location was great. A short walk to the river, short drive to Crater of Diamonds, and relatively close to Lake Greeson. The cabin itself was clean and had just about everything we needed. The only item not in the cabin that we needed was a blender (marinade was hard to make without). There aren’t many restaurants close, so cooking in the cabin is a must. We couldn’t have asked for a better property. Do not hesitate to rent this cabin. Great place to spend time with family. Thank you, Cody!

We loved this property and the host! From the second you walk in, you can smell the freshness. Everything is immaculate! I dont know the age of the cabin, but it is basically Brand NEW!! The upstairs has a queen bed with its own small living room and balcony. Two downstairs bedrooms with queen beds. Love the layout and thought that went into this cabin. The host went above and beyond to help me! We will definitely stay again.

house was lovely & very clean! the blue throughout was a nice bright spot. the stove required cell phone for instructions. that was the only downside. beds were all comfortable & seemed new. would stay again even though it wasn’t right on the water.

Everything it says in the listing and then some! Very clean. We do a fair number of VRBOs and this one truly lived up to what it said and our family was more impressed then what we thought the cabin would be like (and we were excited to go!). The owners did a very nice job.
