The home was lovely and had most everything one expects when renting a cabin. Only issue if you even want to call it an issue was we never could find where the propain tank was for the propain grill's and fire pit.

My family had a great time in the house. My twin 2 yr old granddaughters and 5 yr old grandson had a blast looking for "crystals" in the yard.
The house itself is perfect for a large group. The upstairs rooms were perfect to sleep all kids as well as the parents. Kitchen is stocked with way more than we have ever seen from a vacation rental. Who hasn't left their house and forgot something? Chances are, you would have found it in this house. From aluminum foil, to paper towels, to mining supplies, this was the best place to stay.
Location is beautiful and in a really quiet area. It was perfect for those looking for a place to relax after a busy day of crystal mining, fishing, or just hanging around the lake.
WE will look to stay here again when the girls get a little bigger

This is a huge house that has everything! House is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need! There is a gas and charcoal grill available (note: for any of items that need gas/propane you will need to go into town and get a tank and return it when you leave), a gas blackstone grill, and a gas and wood fire pit. They have digging equipment on site you can use (buckets, sifters) for crystal and diamond mining (you will need to bring/rent shovels). It is kid friendly with kids lawn chairs and drinking cups. Upstairs there are 6 QUEEN sized bunk beds with power for cell phone chargers. 2 people can sleep in each but you may want to bring a small battery operated fan if you sleep in the bottom bunks and you like air movement. The downstairs bedrooms have tall queen sized beds, so if you are in a wheel chair you may have an issue sliding out the chair up into the bed. The living room is huge and comfortable, but it can be a bit noisy as it echos (i.e. if you are one of the late sleepers in the group, you may want to stay upstairs). Cowhide Cove has a beach, fish shelters, a playground, and boat launch about 3/4 mile easy walk or a 5 minute drive. Nearest WalMart is 40 minutes away on the far end of Murfreesboro but there are Dollar Generals located closer in Murfreesboro and Kirby. The WalMart is smaller and older but has almost everything you need to stock up for your stay. The owner/property manager communicates very effectively and quickly via the VRBO.

Such a serene setting with a comfortable cabin. Easy to find, easy to access cabin near a large lake, and close to the Craters of Diamonds State Park. We had fun exploring the area. Host was so easy to communicate with, and answered any questions we had. The kitchen was well stocked for a family. My teenagers LOVED the bunk beds with darkening curtains so they could sleep in as late as they wanted. I highly recommend this property.

Spring break with our grandsons and mom. Did the Crater of Diamonds and Hot Springs. Couldn’t ask for a better location, and the house was spectacular. Will consider for a larger family group in the future. Beds were soooo comfortable, kitchen well equipped. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

The lodge was great and the location to the lake was just 5 minutes from location. The lodge had everything that anyone would need, and I would possibly like to use again. This is the first time that we have had my family together for a vacation. Loved it.

Very nice and new cabin with a lot of beds. We had a great time staying and would gladly come back. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. Let us stay an extra 3 hours on the day of checkout. Thank you for a great clean play to stay with families.

This is our 2nd time staying at this house. Plenty of room, close to lake, nice outdoor seating! It would be nice for a later checkout time because you don’t want your stay to be over, but we will be trying for a yearly return!

Lots of room…. Clean…. It fit our family needs. Loved the huge kitchen as we prepared our breakfasts and dinners there. We had 11 people there and there was plenty of room. We had 3 couples and 5 kids…… we did use a blow up queen for one of our couples so that the children could have the upstairs bedroom/bunk beds for themselves. Overall, very nice. It was extremely HOT during our stay….. so we were unable to make use of the outdoor amenities which looked very nice.

Very nice accommodations
This house is well stocked and well kept. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. While the lake is not visible from this house it's very close and easy to access. A great place to stay!

Family trip
The only reason I gave a 4 on the overall was because the upstairs air conditioner was not cooling correctly. It was hot on Friday night and difficult to rest but was a little cooler And we were able to sleep better in Saturday night

Summer 2022
A place to always remember, serene and peaceful. House open floor plan allows for family to visit together whether cooking, playing board games, watching Arkansas Razorbacks at Baseball World Series, to roasting marshmallows. Nature lovers have plenty to see from deer, birds and the neighbors free range chicken and hens. Neighborhood is very safe and quiet. Few minutes from the lake and summer to remember.

Work retreat
Great place to stay for a fishing retreat. A short distance from the lake. Really enjoyed the fire pit and baggo after dark. The screened in back porch provided a nice place to take a nap during a rain event.

Spring break 2022
We came down here to try our luck at Crater of Diamonds. Didn't find anything if value, but spending time with family is priceless. We also met awesome neighbors!

Cabin resort
We booked a 2 day fishing trip on Lake Greeson, which led us to look for a place to stay. We wanted something by the water, with Wi-Fi, and enough room for all of us. We then booked the Lodge at Cowhide Cove.
The pictures do not do the lodge justice. Everything in the lodge was well thought out for function, then you notice the little extras that you don’t see in most places. It is very spacious and neat. It is nicer than most peoples homes. The extras of having wood already in the fire pit waiting waiting for you just put you at ease. Awesome place and our group will be coming back.

Best place We’ve stayed
This is the best property we have stayed in. Me and 4 of my friends go on girls trips 3 times a year and this is the best yet. The host made sure we had everything we needed. The house was absolutely stunning and clean. Outside games were fun and the area by the fire pit was nice. We enjoyed the house more than we did anything else. I will definitely book again if I were to come that way again. It would be nice to have a chair or stool in the bedrooms for the older people to sit on. We ate at the Fish Nest in Glenwood. They have a buffet with fish and other southern cuisine.
