Great property for multiple small families to stay. Loved it!

We were delighted upon check in - the home was even better than in the photos and description. The personal communication from the host and them going out of their way to make sure we have everything we need during our stay were just some of the many perks of staying at the Colliver House.
Make sure to say hello and be kind to the very sweet horses surrounding the farm!
We hope to be back next year.

Our family of 4 including 2 older teens plus grandma stayed at Colliver House. This was our home base for the Railbird Music Festival. It worked out perfectly! Julia is a very attentive host. The homemade chocolate chip cookies were devoured immediately and the extras were so appreciated!!! Cheese and crackers, fresh fruit, coffee, soda, bacon and eggs, carrots to feed the horses and much, much more!! This is a very comfortable house. Not new but very clean. It feels like your visiting grandma's house in the country. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone who needs a place near Lexington. Very convenient to the UK campus.

Three girlfriends stayed for 3 nights at Coliver house on Claybank farm. We had an exceptional visit, enjoying the surrounding property, mares and foals. Julia was a very generous and attentive host. We were so fortunate to be able to go with her to visit Spendthrift Farm. Seeing the stallions, trophy room, and spectacular beauty of the grounds was the highlight of our stay. Thank you, Julia and Des for such a memory. And Pepper, you are a dear and a talented tee shirt artist.

The house and farm are beautiful! Everything is neat and clean; and beautifully decorated. Beds are very comfortable. And Julia is the absolute best host! Great communication; Fully stocked refrigerator and pantry, including homemade chocolate chip cookies and so many other “extras”!! Even helped arrange a last minute awesome tour at a local stallion farm on Derby weekend. The best VRBO stay ever!

The hostess with the mostess! Julia provided us with a beautiful home surrounded by beautiful horses and pastures. When we arrived she had baked chocolate chip cookies for us and left a refrigerator and pantry with lots of goodies and essentials. She goes above and beyond as an owner of a VRBO house. We have already booked for next year. Can't wait until then. Thank you Julia!!

We spent our annual reunion at the farm and experienced the Lexington Area. This is our second weekend at the farm and Keeneland. Julia is the best host we have experienced on our travels. One of a kind experience having your coffee and feeding carrots to the horses. Property is top notch and well maintained. The snacks and meal items place for guests make you feel like family. Highly recommend this experience.

This property is cozy, clean, and the host is WONDERFUL!
We had to bring our very rare, and expensive sheep to do promotions for a business in Lexington, Louisville, and Cincinnati, and needed a place to house them in the dead of winter. Julia, the host went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed, not only for us, but for the sheep as well. You can’t go wrong booking this property! We will book again if we return. The beds were comfy, the pillows were perfect and the views are amazing!

This property and Julia were both awesome! The kitchen and the bathrooms were all stocked better than any other place we've stayed. Julia was very responsive to any question or request we had.
We will definitely stay here again if the opportunity presents.

Stayed a week for the National Horse Show at the Kentucky Horse Park. Great location that was 10-15 minutes from the park. Julia is an absolute gem of a host. Reached out several days before if we needed anything when we arrived. Had coffee and creamer ready with a stocked fridge. Located next to a very quaint restaurant/store called the Windy Corner. We loved our visit and will definitely stay again. Thx Julia

Julia's place exceeded all expectations that any of us had for what a home-away-from-home could and should offer. The towels and sheets are luxurious. Julia had made homemade chocolate chip cookies to welcome us upon arrival. Check-in and check-out were simple. The adjacent Windy Corner restaurant is not to be missed. We enjoyed feeding the horses, and Julia was a wealth of information about the house, the area, and the property's history. Her communication was extremely quick and responsive. We appreciated all of the little, thoughtful touches that set this booking apart from any vacation rental that we have ever stayed at. Many thanks to Julia for the unparalleled hospitality.

We had a family gathering at this lovely home outside Lexington. The home is located on a horse farm and provided a peaceful and relaxing weekend. The home has so warm and comfortable. Our host Julia went above and beyond to help us feel welcome-great communication, fresh baked cookies! Eggs & bacon, coffee and tea! Truly enjoyed walking the property and hanging with the horses. Sitting on the back porch was so tranquil watching the horses and the barn kitties. The location is convenient to Lexington as we went to Keeneland each day. We are a party of five adults and this home gave us plenty of room for together times and private time. Our son stated this was the best VRBO rental EVER! We cannot wait for our next visit to Claybank Farm! Thank you Julia for sharing your beautiful home.

This was our second reunion at Claybank Farm, and it was as wonderful as the first. Even better because there were two mares with colts in addition to the horse-friends we made last year. The house is always well-stocked and comfortable. Julia is the best host ever!

This property ( a horse farm) is in a beautiful location among rolling hills and horse farms/ranches. Our host, Julia was amazing as she had anything and everything needed for our stay available for us, including freshly baked cookies, and bacon and eggs to cook for breakfast. Great location just outside of downtown Lexington, with peace and quiet, beautiful horses, and awesome sunrise/set! We WILL be back!

We stayed with Julia for two weeks while we were showing at the horse park. It was a perfect place for us to stay with our client and staff. Julia was incredibly welcoming and provided everything we needed to make the stay comfortable.
The location is great, close to the horse park and a direct shot into downtown.

Had a wonderful stay at this farm house. Brought our 9 year old daughter for BreyerFest and I think she enjoyed her stay on this property as much or even more than BreyerFest. She visited the horses on property often and Julia let her assist with turning the babies out at night. What an experience!
Property is beautiful and the house is an old, charming farmhouse. Host provided so many extras that made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We will be back!

The week-end could not have gone better except maybe it could have been warmer.
We were celebrating my husbands 80 th birthday. With my kids there were 7 of us totally.
Julia is an amazing host. From beginning to end she was there to help us and answer our questions.
My husband wanted to go to Keenland to watch the races. Julia helped us get tickets and figure out what to do there.
When we arrived we found fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and a refrigerator stocked with bacon, eggs and biscuits. We also found carrots and apples to feed the horses.
My husband and kids all agreed it was our best VRBO experience ever. The house was clean, well stocked and comfortable and Julia had thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. We loved feeding the horses and walking around the grounds. It was too cold but the front and back porch looked like t hey would be perfect for just sitting and relaxing and enjoying the peaceful setting.
I highly recommend this rental. I know we will be back when we can and will tell all our friends about it.

Wonderful location in the midst of horse farms! We appreciated having the refrigerator well stocked as we arrived during very cold weather. There were four adults in our party (family) and the house suited us fine. We would like to try another trip when it is above freezing!

We traveled to Kentucky for Breeder's Cup horse races. Julie's property is exceptional. House was beautiful and Julie stocked the refrigerator with eggs, milk, OJ, butter, cheese, cream cheese, soda, and water. There was also a large bowl of fresh fruit. And other staples too numerous to mention. The house is on a working horse farm and scenery is spectacular!!! Sunrises from the breakfast nook were breathtaking. Prefect place to unwind. House is a few minutes drive to stores through beautiful Kentucky country side. Julie was the perfect host, available for any questions and so friendly. We definitely would stay here again and highly recommend to anyone wanting a true Kentucky horse country experience.

My family and I stayed at this property while competing at the Kentucky Horse Park. It was close to the park, quiet and comfy which aided in good nights' sleep and had a great restaurant nearby that made for easy dining after long days. Julia was a gracious host who communicated effectively and provided a very well stocked home including fresh baked cookies. The house is convenient to downtown Lexington, Keeneland and the Bluegrass Airport. Truly, we could not have asked for a better experience and hope to be back next year!

We had the most amazing experience staying at this beautiful horse farm! Julia is by far, the best VRBO host we have ever had! She really does a fantastic job of thinking of everything you could possibly need during your stay. The house was just perfect and had so much history and charm. It was so neat to have the horses right next to the house and be able to feed and pet them whenever you wanted. We fell in love with the horses, the sweet barn kitty and of course, Julia!!! We can't thank you enough for everything! We will definitely be back!!

Horse Country Gem!
This was the perfect home for us during our Kentucky horse country trip! This is a horse farm with family history. Julia is the greatest host, even though she appears to be working the farm 24/7! She was always available, and had everything we needed! Her horses and ponies were wonderful. This location is close to anywhere you need to go. I highly recommend this property.

Great place in the heart of horse country.
We stayed for a long weekend to attend an event at the Kentucky Horse Park. The park is less than a 15-minute drive thru beautiful horse country. Julie was extremely hospitable. She provided everything we needed and more. The house is on a working horse farm in the heart of horse country. It doesn't get any better. The location is perfect for access to the Horse Park, freeway and other services. We definitely will stay again. Thanks, Julie.

Perfect!
My daughter and I stayed at the Colliver House for the U.S. Dressage Finals in which my daughter was competing. The house was just as described. A wonderful layout on a beautiful property. Literally next door to the Windy Corner Market, which is an amazing place to eat. The property owner was extremely responsive and had the place perfectly ready for our stay. We enjoyed being about 15 minutes from the Kentucky Horse Park, but staying in a comfortable and well-kept home as opposed to a hotel room. We hope to return one day.

Amazing stay at Claybank.
If I could give this property 6 stars I would.
Scratch that ten stars. The owner went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as perfect as possible. I have used VrBO all over the country and this by far has been the best property ever.
Theis property is a picture perfect horse farm nestled nicely outside Lexington and is simply delightful. Would absolutely love to return someday when I had more time to relax.

Horse Farm lovers
We stayed at this property while attending an event at the KY Horse Park. This is property is excellent if you are wanting to get the horse farm experience. Very peaceful setting on a corner farm. Had horses right outside. The roads from the farm to the horse park take you by some iconic KY horse farm properties.
It was great to feel out in the country but also only 10 minutes away from the city.
The area also seems to be a trail head point for avid bicyclist going through farm country.
Make sure to eat at least once next door at Windy Corner Market. It's great KY based food from one of the best chef's and restaurants operators in Lexington.
We looked forward to staying there again.
