We had a wonderful time exploring Louisville, the Kentucky Derby, distilleries and Lexington on our vacation to Kentucky with friends. We stayed at this lovely home in a nice neighborhood with comfortable beds, nice bathrooms/kitchen and a cute deck with firepit. Our hosts were very kind and very easy to work with before, during and after our stay. Highly recommend!

We came down from Michigan for the Defender 3 Day Event at the KHP! The home was in the perfect location for all of our needs and was just a short drive to the park! The home was ultra clean, well equipped and the beds were oh so comfy! The hosts attention to detail was much appreciated!

We always love staying here. The beds are so comfy and there is plenty of room to spread out. The fenced in backyard is great for our dog! Nice quiet neighborhood and a safe place to walk our her! They have dog bowls for her too! They have plenty of off streets parking and a locked garage as well. We can get to campus is 10 minutes and downtown in 15.

We really enjoyed this house. It was very clean and great amenities. It is in a great location just minutes from the mall and all kinds of parks and restaurants. Communication was quick and easy. Check in and check out was easy. Would stay here again.

This house is just perfect. We stayed here while moving our daughter to UK for her freshman year. Proximity was key: close enough to campus, yet out of the way, but accessible to shopping for supplies. We arrived with 2 cars full of our daughter's belongings the night before move-in, so were thankful we could use the spacious garage to keep everything safe. Not to imply anything negative about the neighborhood! It is very lovely, peaceful, well maintained, with nice neighbors. It is SO quiet, I overslept on the last day, haha! Cleanliness is the biggest deal to me, and this place was absolutely spotless. The house is well appointed and so charmingly decorated, I just wanted to just move in. Hosts were on top of communication and wanting to do their best for guests. Just a great place to stay, I highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at your Stylish and Cozy Ranch property in Lexington. It was conveniently located between our two sons houses in Lexington which made it easy for all of us to get together at your lovely home. It was very clean, nicely decorated and the kitchen was stocked with everything that we needed. We also enjoyed the deck and patio furniture. We would definitely stay here again. Almost every night we would enjoy a walk around the nice neighborhood.

Our family group stayed 4 nights for UK graduation. We've stayed at many rental homes, from small and simple to large and extravagant. This one is a gem - absolutely the cleanest we've seen. Everything we needed was provided. Well appointed and fun - easy access to campus, downtown and south side shopping areas. The hosts were wonderful. We would definitely stay again!

What a wonderful home! We enjoyed our stay in Lexington at Open Gate. Great house - awesome beds! Great location to shopping, restaurants and UK. The home is comfortable and has everything you would need - starts you with the little things like TP and dish soap - great kitchen to cook meals which we did for our college age son who was missing meals from home! We'll stay again for sure!

We couldn't have been happier with this property. It's in a nice, quiet neighborhood convenient to everything and has all the conveniences of home. The attached garage was a blessing during our Christmas vacation - no scraping snow and ice off our car. The interior of the house was just as shown in the pictures. The kitchen had all new appliances and enough of the basic cookware that we were able to pull off preparing a Christmas dinner for family without any problems. We visit Lexington a couple of times a year and we both agreed this would be our "go to" rental from now on.

My husband, pups and I traveled to Lexington to visit our son and his family. We always stay in VRBO's when we travel, and Open Gates ranks at the very top of properties we've visited. The home was cozy, quaint and welcoming. The amenities far surpassed our expectations. The decor is cheerful, stylish, and comforting. The host was accommodating, responsive. and sweet. The property is conveniently located near fantastic restaurants and the downtown area. I'm so happy we found this little gem and look forward to visiting again.

We had a wonderful stay at Open Gates! The home is exactly as described in reservation. It’s beautifully decorated, had everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable! The location is also perfect - a few minutes to Keeneland and a few minutes to downtown. Also, the owner responded very quickly to any questions or messages sent. Highly recommend if you are in this area!
