Our group of 7 had a lovely stay. The home was spacious and we all had adequate privacy, it was also beautiful, clean and comfortable. There were little notes throughout the house with helpful info, and it was sooo well stocked- plenty of towels, first aid kit, full kitchen, kids toys, games, detergents, etc etc. Bill even checked in to make sure we were good and graciously answered questions about the area. It felt more like good friends shared the keys to their home than it did a rental house.
I want to mention for anyone who came across this place looking for wheelchair accessibility that it’s perfect. The home is SO comfortable: no tight hallways or doorframes.. everything on the first floor is open and easy to navigate, all the porches and hangout areas are accessible. The master bed and roll in shower were fantastic and there’s even a lift armchair in the living room. Our wheelchair user was always comfortable and able to stay with the group and that made this the best vacation ever. (Parsons Marsh and the Mary V Flynn Trail were wheelchair friendly hikes that were both within 25 minutes too!)

My husband and I and 4 other adult family members stayed in this lovely Berkshires home for a week, and had a lovely, relaxing stay. The house is quite spacious, with lots of separate areas (including several porches) for people to hang out without feeling like you're on top of each other. The description made it sound like there was only one full bathroom (or perhaps I just misread it), but there are in fact two, as well as two other half baths (and I believe another bath in the basement apartment). The kitchen is enormous, and incredibly well-stocked: pots, pans, coffee maker, utensils - really almost anything you could want (including a pretty decent selection of spices, flours, etc.). The house itself is also very well stocked, with extra towels, sheets, etc. all readily available. William replied quickly to all of our questions, both before and during our stay, and gave us detailed instructions (including a binder with information about local attractions and advice to help up get the most out of our stay). The location is great - just about 10 minutes to Great Barrington, and about 25 to Lenox. We enjoyed our week immensely, and look forward to hopefully returning in future summers!

Great house in great location and Bill, our host, was wonderful. He was available and helpful. The house was very clean, comfortable and well stocked for all of our needs. The sylvan setting is beautiful and relaxing yet close to restaurants, shopping and local farm stands! The kitchen had everything you would need if you were in your own home.
The screened in porch was delightful on the nice summer nights.
The bed and sheets were so comfortable.
We would highly recommend this rental.

We were looking for a home large enough to accommodate a gathering of my family (4 adult couples). My deal breaker was the kitchen table and if everyone could sit down together for meals and games(we also were planning to celebrate two birthdays and Father’s Day). Upon finding this home I knew we had found the perfect place for our vacation.
In addition to the large kitchen table, the kitchen was well stocked with just about anything we could have needed. The other rooms offered enough space to visit in small or large groups. The outside and screened porches were very popular.
From what I heard from my family, all the rooms were comfortable and each had their own charm.
The home is in walking distance to a park with tennis and basketball courts, a children’s playground, and hiking trails. Additionally, it is walking distance to a general store. About a 20 drive away is a pretty waterfall.
The hosts were in contact with us beginning about a week or so before our visit. During our stay they kept in contact to make sure there wasn’t anything we needed. They were also happy to provide information about the area.
Overall, I believe this was the perfect spot for our vacation and would definitely consider booking it again in the future.
