The place is not what it is and all pictures need to be shown before booking it! My children felt unsafe. I felt unsafe and I'm not afraid of much! Worst experience I've ever booked. There's too many access doors to the inside of the condo. Too many doors that says, "Do not open!" If you're looking for relaxation, this is not the place at all! If you're looking for safety, this is not the place at all! If you have nothing to lose, then this is definitely the place to rent! Ppl standing outside like wow! They know when you're coming and going! The furniture is dirty! Unbelievable

We enjoyed our stay with a few minor exceptions at the loft in Wicker Park. Being a Chicago native I understood the area and I think that’s important when renting here. Wicker Park has a lot to offer but definitely has a strong edge to it more specifically at night. Also, one needs to know the Elevated “L” train will be loud inside the apartment. Not such a problem during the day and being in a city you naturally get used to it. Fortunately there is one center room upstairs where the L is just a gentle hum at night. Please note that there is also a dog daycare center downstairs where they also board some dogs in the evenings and the dogs are loud. The dogs bark quite a bit during the day. The first night we arrived there were two dogs barking nonstop all evening. Fortunately The nighttime barking was less noticeable the rest of the nights of our stay. It is still very loud during the day especially in the back portion of the house and coming from the yard. Due to that the main floor bedroom was not usable for us. But again the room upstairs in the center was quiet and since they were just two of us we were fine. Now onto all the wonderful things. The apartment is huge! Great Soundsystem that we were able to play our music through and we really enjoyed the big kitchen when having a few friends over for dinner. There’s some fun lighting and a wonderful big subzero refrigerator. The 6 burner Viking stove and warming drawer were also nice to have. The furniture in the living room and dining room are ample and cozy with a large TV in the living room. The two bedrooms upstairs were comfortable and clean and the bathrooms especially upstairs were really great. The Robey hotel across the street was a wonderful addition. Their café is quite good, the roof deck upstairs has extraordinary views and really great cocktails! There are also two bars that host bands in the evening on either side of the block. This was a plus for us but again you can hear the bands in the apartment at night. There’s a great little grocery store down the street which had everything we needed. Overall our stay was great but we also knew what we were getting into. It was a wonderful place to hang out with friends but people should be aware of the neighborhoods intensity and noise levels. If you’re coming to the city to hang out with friends and to get the total experience this is a place for you. Our host was quick to answer questions we had & overall we had a lot of fun.

Pretty good stay. There is a doggie day care on the first floor that was not mentioned in the ad, but it ended up not really being noticeable and did not interfere with our working days. There is a back entrance/exit that we were asked not to use cause the dogs go nuts if they see you out there. It wasn't an issue for us since we were there to work but just be aware you might not have access to the back porch area. In any case you get to see cute pups when you leave or come back to the property so that's a plus. Rooms were clean and comfy and the location is in a great spot with many options for dining or night time fun. Omar was a great dude and very responsive. He got us a parking spot about a block away under the el tracks and that worked out just fine. Would definitely stay here again.

We visited Chicago with family and stayed at this apartment. It was a great experience; the location is in the heart of wicker park and less than a block away from all the hustle and bustle, restaurants, shopping and the blue line train station. The host was very responsive and was available to answer questions as needed. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a convenient, central and hip location, and a large and well managed property.
