house was perfect for what we needed for a girls weekend!
4.0 / 5.0
Overall the unit was acceptable. All units had the numbers except the one I rented so that made it a little confusing but I was finally able to locate it after walking around the building and finally emailing the rental company. The ice maker in the refrigerator did not work. I would recommend darker drapes on the master bedroom windows, it is very bright and the outside spot light (which could not be controlled from the unit) shines in making the room very bright at night. I would also recommend hand soap in the bathroom so you don’t have to go to the kitchen to was with dish soap. The host was very accommodating when I requested my pet refund back since I decided not to bring my dog.
With the minor changes mentioned I would rent again.

We couldn’t get in because we never got our check in instructions. Had to contact the manager about that. The people next to us got there and it was the same thing. The house was filthy, smelled like dope, full of black flies everywhere. Q-tips on the floor, chip in the bed, dirt and hair everywhere, wood chips on the couches, and a ROACH in the master bedroom. The comforter was still wet like they didn’t let it dry long enough. The bedroom with the bunk beds was HOT! We had to set a fan up in the living room to blow cold air in it the whole time. There was a big knife in the grass right by the entrance that anyone could have stepped on. Went to make coffee and the coffee pot still had coffee in it, it was never cleaned, and the coffee grinds were still in it, growing Mold!! I had to sanitize it before we could use it. The whole thing was a mess. I have never been so disappointed in a rental. I usually can let small things go but this was a disaster.
Also, the walls are thin so sleep sucked because the people above us were running around like crazy so it sounded like a zoo so if you are wanting a quiet and peaceful place, this may not be it if you are a light sleeper.
I was so disappointed because the place looked so cute in the pictures.

The house was located in Old Mobile. The neighborhood and house were beautiful. The old homes and moss and fern-covered live oaks line the street, with branches arching over the road. There was some late night noisy traffic outside, maybe due to it being the weekend. The floors and light fixtures were very nice.
The shower could have been cleaned better.

Overall the house was very nice. We enjoyed our stay very much. Only thing was at night when trying to sleep the outside lights were very bright coming through the windows shades.

The location is very conveniently located to downtown. We enjoyed great restaurants and walking around these beautiful historical neighborhoods. The unit was very spacious and had everything one would need. So so much better than staying in a hotel room. Will most likely stay here again.

It did smell a little musty but is an old home and the ice maker didn’t work. We liked it a lot

I enjoyed my stay. It is a very beautifully renovated house, but it smells like mold or rotten wood inside the house.

Nice historic property close to downtown, restaurants, and a local ice cream shop. We did run into an issue shortly after arrival, but the owner was quick to respond and remedy the situation.

We rented this for 3 weeks during February and it was perfect for our group of 2 adults and 2 kids. The house had most things we needed and made it easy getting back and forth from downtown each night.

My husband and I loved staying at this sweet home! It was perfect for what we needed it for. This apartment was so beautiful ❤️ we were impressed with the spacious layout. Loved the tree lined streets in the area and ate at the local restaurants near by which were delicious! Never been to Mobile before, hope to come back!
