The property was booked for family holiday to celebrate Ruby Wedding Anniversary, so 3 couples, baby and dog. The property suited us all. Very comfortable living room and bedrooms and high class kitchen! Easy parking and perfect location for beach, walks, golf etc. Provided everything we’d hoped for and more!

Great location, lovely cottage. We were on a very last minute break so couldn’t get 3 nights. George was very helpful and had the cottage available early.

The Old Police House is warm a cosy after a day exploring the beaches of Northumberland with the dogs. We find it ideally placed for all of the Northumberland coast and it would always be on the top of our list if and when we return to the area.

The location and layout of the cottage was great. The booking and check-in process was seamless. Thank you for having us, I am sure we will come back one day.
If the kitchen had more utensils and some cleaning equipment/spray we'd have given it 10/10!

Great area to holiday

The place is very comfortable and has more than adequate self-catering facilities. It also offers sufficient space for each of our group to pursue their different pastimes uninterrupted. During our stay I passed on a message about a faulty hair dryer; it was replaced with another brand new item immediately. Excellent service

We liked that the house was in the lovely village of Embleton within easy reach of the coastal path for walking our dog. It is also very close to Dunstanburgh Golf Club which is a beautiful course with very reasonable green fees.

Being able to stay next door to other family members in the adjoining cottages. Being near the sea and opposite the hotel and also the village shop which has been greatly improved.

Celebrating parents 50th Wedding anniversary,we had age range from 25 to 75 and everything was catered for ,enough facilities to see to feeding six adults , weather meant we didn't need to put fire on but we will love to try it in the future so a return visit will be on the cards

Apart from extremely steep and narrow internal stair staircase making it very difficult for slightly disabled guests, everything else was excellent.

Another wonderful holiday spent staying at The Old Police House. Beautiful house so comfortable and clean with a tasteful interior. We have self catered here on a number of occasions with the family and grandparents and always have a fantastic and relaxing time. We will be back hopefully later this year.

Lovely cosy cottage in a great location - just across the road from the pub. Has a lovely walk down to the beach along a footpath. As we had the dog with us we found it was a good location for walking to different places to grab a coffee or some lunch. Would definitely book this place again!

Whole family were very content there & we had everything we needed, very good area, the only little annoying thing was there was a very awful smell from the en-suite bathroom that we could never get rid off.
