The home is a beautiful space with a great pool and views of the water, although the cleanliness was disappointing.
4.0 / 10.0
first - the property needs de bugged. the bugs were awful
second - more dishwasher soap should be provided. we had 9 people, and only 3 loads of soap was provided.
third - some things were disgustingly dirty. - the oven, the grill, the living room rug - to name a few.
the kitchen was well stocked. look at the lamp in the 3rd floor master if you want to see some dust. overall, it was ok, but we would not come back.

I will say, the house was built beautifully and the decor is very well thought out and from afar, looks great. However, the house is incredibly dirty and clearly the cleaning company doesn’t care to even try. The outside is covered in bugs and spider webs that can be seen from inside every door and window. Needs to be power washed badly. The bugs are also inside - dead and alive including large spiders that will bite you and a massive wasps nest under the back porch. We had to buy wasp spray. There isn’t a single wall in the house that doesn’t have scratch marks or dirty on it. Some walls even look like they had blood on them. Floor boards are disgusting, bathrooms weren’t cleaned, had to unload dishwasher from the group before us, pool never got cleaned, two pillows and one thin blanket per king bed. Twin beds weren’t even made. Light fixtures filled with dead bugs. Fire alarm randomly went off at 2 am. We reported how dirty the house was as soon as we arrive and was told the local team would help resolve the issue but never heard back. Someone came to look at the fire alarm and said they’d be back to replace us but never came back. Photos also make it seem like a dock is attached to the property but there isn’t. Had a nice vacation but the filth in the house was way too hard to ignore. Would never come back or recommend due to the lack of care the owners or rental company has for this property and their guests.

We loved having enough space to accommodate our large family of 13 and our little Chorkie. The pool and the hot tub were amazing. The sunsets were absolutely stunning! The elevator was an added bonus for transporting luggage and bags. There was a short walk to the beach and a quick drive to the stores. The few issues we did have were promptly addressed through customer support.

We had a great time. The house is great, rooms, furniture, appliances, etc. Everything is present what you need and wish.
Cleaning service however needs major improvements . Spiderwebs on lights, animal hairs on bed, dead insects on floor and bed.

This beautiful house was the perfect stay for our extended family while we attended a family wedding! Bedrooms were spacious with large bathrooms. Elevator was a huge bonus!

Our family (9 guests) met for a long weekend in early October. We had a wonderful trip made possible with the house, offering plenty of bedrooms/baths and gorgeous views of sunsets on the sound. Even watched an eagle out our window as we ate breakfast. The weather turned cool, but we were able to enjoy the decks and hot tub.

If the homeowner is reading this review, do NOT let vacasa to continue managing your home. The home is beautiful but the management of it is so bad, I would NEVER again rent a home managed by Vacasa.
1. Due to Vacasa mismanagement, we didn’t get access to the home until 8:40pm for a 4:00pm check in. They claim that housekeeping was late because it was “busier than usual.” this is busy season in the obx. They should know exactly how many homes are turning over each week. There should be no surprises here. I’ve been asking for reimbursement since check-in day, 19 days ago, and the only response I get is that the “local office is reviewing your complaint.” UPDATE: I did finally receive reimbursement.
2. The exterior of this home is covered in spider webs and bugs. As it backs up to the sound (which is a nice way to say swamp/marsh), there are so many mosquitos! And because they are so many mosquitos, there are so many spiders! The gate to the pool was covered in them, as were the railings (forget hanging a towel over them to dry), decking, windows, front door, I could go on and on.
2. Additionally, there are dead bugs inside the home as well. The house cleaners sweep and wipe down floors and counters, but take a moment to look at the ceilings and on top of ledges and around windows and in light fixtures. so many dead bugs
3. A/c broke down and vacasa straight up lied/misled us about when it would be repaired.

We had a wonderful time! Went with 16 family members, including my elderly parents to this wonderful home. Beautifully decorated, amazing views! Has an elevator, which was great for my parents. Used the pool every day. Great location for shopping and biking to the lighthouse. Wonderful vacation spot!

Fantastic, spacious house with an amazing view of the sound. We spent every evening watching spectacular sunsets over the sound either from the great room on the 3rd floor, or the pool deck. The house has everything you would need and expect for your family stay in Corolla (Kitchen Supplies, Games, TV's, Grills, etc..). The house was extremely clean and all sheets, blankets and pillows were on the beds (We filled all but one twin bed). The elevator was a huge help for moving luggage, guests and groceries throughout the house. The Swimming Pool and Hot Tub were very refreshing and the pool table was put to great use. We received a code for the pier and had no issue accessing it for sunset pictures and morning walks. The location is great, short walk to the ocean, and close to the grocery store and 4X4 Beach access. We have been coming to Corolla for several years and this is the first time we stayed on the sound. We would certainly stay at this house again.

The property was in an excellent location with bay access and short walk to beach. Only a couple miles from the end of paved road to take Jeep on the beach. The place had plenty room and is well maintained with 2 gas grills, pool, and hot tub. We would definitely rent this place again.

The house was beautiful and spacious. The pictures were beautiful but seeing it in person, it was more than I expected. I would recommend bringing an extra frying pan and the white couch had a few stains, but other than that I would definitely stay again.

All the beds were very uncomfortable, too hard. We had 9 adults, and they all thought the same about the beds. The upholstered furniture in the living room is very dirty, also the LR rug should be replaced, very dirty and stained.

This was a beautiful house with a wonderful view of the sound. We really felt it was a great getaway. Vacasa was very responsive and had great customer service—there were several issues we had that they helped to resolve. Our only complaint was the lack of communication around the basic necessities that were not included. It was an annoying inconvenience for us to have to go to the store to buy trash bags, dishwasher soap, and dishwashing soap. They only provided enough for 1-2 days, especially with a larger group staying the 3-day minimum. Typically these are included in rental homes. The kitchen was very well stocked (had a crock pot, stock pot, cookie sheets) except for there were no oven mitts and both non-stick skillets were very scratched (need replacing). They provided extra pillows but no sheets, which was also annoying, but luckily we weren’t using all of the bedrooms and were able to borrow pillows from those rooms. We were excited about the game room, but it was difficult to use the pool table as the TV on the wall does not allow enough space to use the pool cue sticks. The space itself is beautiful and well decorated and we throughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub!

My family and I did not know much about the OBX prior to booking our stay, we didn’t do much research. We landed on this property due to it having all the amenities we wanted. It was a 30 second drive to the beach parking lot, then a 5 minute walk to beautiful beach. Could have walked the whole way if we wanted to, but traveling with a 3 year old. The pool was amazing, house was all new and in great condition. I highly recommend!

Excellent property with wonderful views of the sound (amazing sunsets) and everything one would need to have a great vacation in the outer banks. Easy walk to the beach and access to local food and shops (about 1.5 miles in either direction). Pool, hot tub, and large main room / kitchen are great for an extended group. Strong Wi-Fi was also appreciated by those of us trying to maintain some ties to work during the week. All in all - a great place to stay.

Great place
The house is great, but the backyard leads to the marsh; not the beach. It does have a pretty view of the water on the 3rd floor but it’s mostly blocked by the trees so if you’re looking to be on the water, this is not the location for you.
