The location of the cottage is ideal, as it is within walking distance to Point Pelee National Park, famous for both birding and beaches. The park is a nature lover's paradise, with miles of hiking trails and stunning views of the lake. Guests can explore the park's wildlife and flora, or relax on the beaches and enjoy the sun and sand.
Tree Top Lakehouse offers 3+ bedrooms, including one on the main floor for those who are averse to stairs, 2+ bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of spots to curl up in and enjoy the view or read a book. The cottage is fully furnished to ensure that guests feel right at home during their stay.

House Rules: NO PARTIES OR EVENTS PERMITTED
Rental Agreement: Guest must sign a rental agreement. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of your rental. There will be no refunds given if the agreement is not signed. A $350 offline security deposit will be required, and a link will be sent to you.
Check In: after 4 pm
Check Out: 10 am to avoid the $75 late check out fee.
Smoking/Vaping: Smoking of any kind is not permitted in the house. Please smoke outside and dispose of all cigarettes butts appropriately in the ashtrays that are provided. Additional cleaning fees maybe charged in the event cigarette butts are found outside of the ashtrays.
Shoes: We ask that you do not wear shoes inside the house, as it tracks in a lot of things we prefer stay outdoors.
Bugs- We recommend that you come prepared with appropriate bug repellent, such as bug spray, to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience during your outdoor activities. Bug spray can greatly assist in minimizing any inconvenience caused by insects.
Unannounced guests: Prices are quoted in accordance with occupancy of the rooms. We ask that there are no unregistered guests past 10pm. Pre check in form must be submitted- All guests must be registered.
Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linen and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit to towels or linens to be taken from the house. Should you need extra maid service, please contact us to arrange it. Extra maid services would be at an extra cost.
NOISE-GUESTS SHOULD NOT CREATYE EXCESSIVE NOISE AT A LEVEL THAT DISTURBS NEIGHBORS. QUIET HOURS ARE FROM 9PM-8AM
Garbage: Any garbage must be stowed in the appropriate bins. We recommend the garbage is taken out daily to avoid unnecessary odors.
Recycle - Please separate plastics and cardboard and place in the correct bin. Do not place in plastic bags. Failure to separate will result in a $75.00 sorting fee.
Parking: Please Park vehicles in designated parking areas only. Please do not park on the grass. Any illegally parked vehicles are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
Appliances & kitchenware: Only use appliances for their intended uses. We have provided kitchenware for our guests; we kindly ask that you load and start dishwasher before you leave. Dish soap and cloths are located under the sink.
Furniture & décor: Please do not move the furniture or decor. This can damage the floors and disturb the atmosphere of the home we have work so hard to create.
OUTDOOR CUSHIONS MUST BE TAKEN IN AFTER EACH USE AND BEFORE CHECK-OUT. WEATHER CONDITIONS MAY CAUSE DAMAGE, ALSO UNBRELLA PUT DOWN AND TIED. FAILURE TO DO SO, WILL RESULT IN A FEE DUE TO NEGLIGENCE.
Pets: Unfortunately, this property is not suitable for pets of any kind.
Towels: Please leave used towels on the floor in the bathroom.
Water & septic: DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the system, you could be charged damages of up to $1000.
Liability: The owners and property manager (PM) are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The homeowner and PM are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guests. This is an amazing cottage. Fully renovated with high end finishes and appliances. Right on the lake with a huge deck with outdoor table and Adirondack chairs. Spacious rooms with one first floor bedroom & full bath if you need disabled access. Paul and Rui were great hosts … we had a hard time figuring out the stove and they were there within a half hour to help us out. I would highly recommend this cottage! We had a long weekend with six ladies and we were all comfortable. We can’t wait to go back.

This was a glorious location to view the total solar eclipse in April 2024. Even without the eclipse we had multiple locations inside and to enjoy the views of the sun and the lake. The proximity to Point Pelee is a big bonus; the kitchen is well equipped for meals. Folks with accessibility issues ahould be aware that there is a bedroom/bath at ground level but that much of the living area is upstairs. Highly recommended!

The cottage is very close to the entrance of Point Pelee Park. The main deck is quite large and provides a unique view on the lake. The cottage is well maintained and adequately furnished. The three levels offre ample space for family and/or friends to spread and exercise their preferred activities. The large kitchen is well equipped with lots of dishes, pots and pans, and appliances. The BBQ on the deck is fully functional (connected to natural gas).

We have been going to Point Pelee for decades and never had the opportunity to stay so close to the park before. It was very convenient. A beautiful house with a great deck.
Paul was very helpful and understanding when there were some minor maintenance problems.

The attention to detail in this home was amazing and the views were gorgeous. I’d absolutely stay here again. Just one note, if you have anyone in your party with mobility issues the kitchen and one bedroom are on the main level, but the other living areas are up a set of stairs.

We had a lovely time at this home views are awesome 3 decks to choose from although huge lower deck needs some kind of shade to be able to get full use from it when sun is very hot! that's our only negative thing about this place

Super clean. Huge patio that is so peaceful to sit and hear the waves. Breathtaking view and sunsets. Beds super comfy and place is very roomy and comfortable. Was there 3 nights and we all enjoyed ourselves. Had a couple questions and they answered right away and texted back. Would rent this place again.

We had a great time at Tree Top Lake house! It's spacious but cozy at the same time. The house is very well equipped with everything one might need. Beds are comfortable. It was nice to fall asleep to the sound of waves outside. We enjoyed hiking at Point Pelee National Park, which is 5 minute drive away. One small suggestion would be to have a guest book.

This rental was fantastic! Views of Lake Erie from every level with a huge deck and 2 balconies! The kitchen was gorgeous! All guest rooms spacious,comfy and decorated with a lake house vibe!
We loved the 5 minute drive to Pelee Point Park and need to return to bike,hike and see the monarch butterflies! We will be back!!
