Soggiorno rilassante

Personale molto gentile ed accogliente. Buona la colazione, sia di dolce che di salato. Molto bella la stanza con balcone di fronte all'Oceano. Ottimo il parcheggio, ampio. Belle le piscine, sia quelle coperte che quelle all'aperto. L'Hotel è buono come punto di partenza per visitare le bellezze di Madeira.

Poca attenzione alla pulizia della stanza, in particolar modo al bagno. In 10 giorni (9 notti) non sono mai state cambiate le lenzuole del letto. Un giorno (ma solo uno) la stanza è stata rifatta dopo le ore 18.00!!!

Hôtel moderne, agréable et très belle vue.

Suite deux chambres très spacieuse #101. Grande terrasse. Superbe vue. Grand sauna et Piscine intérieure très agréable. Staff tres courtois.

La baie vitrée ne pouvait pas être verrouillée. Et fenêtre de la seconde chambre donnait dans le restaurant. (Pas de chance pour cette soirée, mise en place bruyante du restaurant jusque 00:30).

Big apartment and private terrace. Good restaurant. 3 swimming pools.

Bar plays music until 24:00, not loud, but it can be heard in the terrace and when windows are open. Depending on wind conditions smells from the restaurant are felt in the terrace.

The staff was great, great facilities and a really good room with sea views. The restaurant served really good food and was not expensive.

My rating would be around 8.7-9.4

New Hotel, with very friendly staff, good kitchen a big parking space and very beautiful spot. In general you have everything what you need. Our room was very spacious, bright. it has a fully equipped kitchen. You can use it if you want. It is two outdoor pools, one inside pool with “bubbling” place. There’s sauna, but at our stay wasn’t working. Nobody came to fix 🥲

Sauna wasn’t working, cleaning could be done little bit better but overall it was quite clean. Air conditioner wasn’t working in our room and also nobody came to fix, but again it wasn’t a big issue because temperature wasn’t too warm.

Little paradise in Madeira.

Hotel in a quiet place in front of the ocean . Perfect stay to rest and enjoy the environment. Rooms are clean and spacious. Staff is really kind, professional and very helpful. Restaurants is delicious. A pure pleasure at all points and highly recommended.

The big mountain behind is so high that this fantastic hotel is in the shade half of the year .

Perfect

Clean and nice room with beautiful view on the Ocean. The bed was comfortable and air conditioning was quiet and working well. Both pools (inside and outside are great), and there is also sauna. The staff is really friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was simple but tasty with plenty to choose from. I definately recommend checking the hotel restaurant for dinner as it was the best Maderian food on our holiday, and the serving was huge! Overall it was best hotel of our trip (and we stayed in 4 different ones).

Gorgeous views from this ocean front hotel

We had a great stay in Sao Vincente and Hotel Calamar... I mean the ocean rock pool at the hotel is enough for me to give it an excellent rating! The views from the hotel are just incredible and the pools seem very well maintained. They are the star of the hotel for sure. We loved our two bedroom room, it was super spacious for the four of us and the balcony was insane!! So huge and overlooked the pool area. We loved walking out there and taking in the views. We found the staff at Hotel Calamar to be very friendly and helpful, and the general area was nice to stay in for a couple days. I highly recommend checking out Porto Moniz while there and the Seixo black sand beach!

We were disappointed in the breakfast at Hotel Calamar, very standard motel breakfast. I would add at least some oatmeal and different nuts/seeds/dried fruit for a basic muesli. Also would be important to add non-dairy milk for those who are lactose intolerant or vegan. Also the only downside in our room was we were right next to the dining area, so one of our bedroom windows overlooked the restaurant so we couldn't open it or leave the curtains open. But again, I would 100% stay here in the future just for the location right on the water and overall wonderful stay.

A hotel is located at the ocean, it has all the facilities available in one place - restaurant, snack bar, indoor/outdoor smimming pool etc. Rooms are equipped with a kettle and glasses. Very comfy beds.
