Schöner und angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtete Unterkunft mit schönem Meerblick und gutem Frühstück sowie nettem Personal.

Das Zimmer sowie das Bad waren sehr klein.

A fun, ultra-comfortable stay

Derek is the most amazing host - friendly, gregarious, helpful - everything other reviewers have written about him is completely true. The property has a lovely outlook and the garden is delightful. Breakfast is substantial and freshly cooked to order. I actually stayed on two separate occasions, once in a King Room with garden view and once in a twin room with sea view. Both rooms were very comfortable and the bathrooms are amazing examples of how much can be fitted into a very small space! There are good dining options in nearby Oranmore if Galway seems too far.

Unser Zimmer hatte das Badezimmer auf der anderen Seite des Flures, wenn auch zur alleinigen Benutzung. Die anderen Zimmer sind aber mit Badezimmer!

Sehr hübsches kleines Hotel in ruhiger Lage außerhalb von Galway.

Dieses kleine B&B Hotel ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die zwar kleinen Zimmer bieten aber trotzdem alles, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt. Der Gast ist hier König und der Hausherr Derek tut alles, um den Aufenthalt seiner Gäste so perfekt wie möglich zu gestalten. Wenn gewünscht, wird das typisch irische Frühstück serviert. Es gibt aber auch genügend anderes, sodass für jeden Geschmack etwas Leckeres dabei ist.

La struttura è in una posizione meravigliosa, affacciata sulla baia di Galway. La camera è accogliente, arredata con gusto e pulitissima. L'ottima colazione viene servita in una sala da pranzo spettacolare con vista sul mare. Derek è un host gentilissimo e molto cordiale, ci ha fornito informazioni utili e tanti suggerimenti. Coltiva con passione fiori stupendi con i quali decora la casa.

Suggerirei di sostituire la porta del piccolo ma pulitissimo bagno in camera (attualmente tipo saloon) con una porta scorrevole che offrirebbe maggiore privacy.

Lovely home and very pleasant stay

Great and friendly host. Well presented B&B. Nice touch was the information sheet available in different languages. We used this to go to Keane's in Oranmore for dinner.

The en-suite though fully functional was a bit small. We nicknamed it the Tardis.

Toller Gastgeber - tolle Unterkunft - gerne wieder

Das Haus war sehr sehr sauber. Der Gastgeber war freundlich und hatte tolle Tipps bzgl essen und sightseeing. Alle Zimmer waren top gepflegt und liebevoll ausgestattet - noch nie so viel Liebe zum Detail erlebt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Frühstück - die pancakes - ein Gedicht. Der Garten war top gepflegt und lud zum längeren verweilen ein - wir waren leider nur einen Tag dort Gast. Wir würden hier sofort wieder buchen - danke für die tolle Gastfreundschaft

Das zum Zimmer gehörende Bad hinter einer Schranktür war etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig aber alles drin was man brauch und extrem sauber. Auch hier viel Liebe zum Detail

Charming, warm, lovely

The host was outstandingly kind and helpful - and his dad is a sweetheart! The breakfast was very generous and delicious, with a charming view of the seaside. This bed and breakfast is family-run and you can tell by the warmth and laid back, hospitable atmosphere. I would absolutely recommend this place!!!

L'accueil et la gentillesse de Derek, qui prend le temps de donner des informations locales. Le petit déjeuner complet servi dans un salon vu mer. Le confort de la chambre. Le parking juste devant la maison.

Nous avons eu une chambre avec salle de bains de l'autre côté du couloir, ce n'est pas très pratique. Ce n'est pas le cas de toutes les chambres.

Great B&B for a quiet stay in Galway.

Great host. Great recommendations for places to dine at and for sightseeing. The ‘his and her’ teddy bears on the beds added a cute touch to our welcome.

The bathroom is very small but very clean and served its purpose.

Such a lovely place and hosts, we would definitely stay again!

Derek is a wonderful and friendly host. We enjoyed talking with him and glad we got to meet his father, too! The BnB is beautiful inside and out! Our room and bathroom were very clean. We sat at a table in the breakfast area where we could view the beauty outside. Breakfast was fantastic! Chose from a menu the night before and it was cooked to order. Also, a nice selection on the continental bar. Some delicious yogurt! I loved seeing the name Connolly on the plaque outside the door. That's my maiden name. A relative who has done genealogy for our family said Galway county was our area. Wonder if we are related 😊

Our room was very lovely but the bathroom was kind of tight. It is a great use of space to fit in the toilet, sink, and shower stall in a kind of closet type area. Not sure we would have been comfortable with it for multiple days but for our one night stay, it was doable.

Beautiful B&B with an even more amazing host!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Seacrest and Derek (the host)! This was my first experience with a B&B in Ireland, and Derek set the bar extremely high. From the moment you walk in the door, you feel like you’re visiting a friend. Derek and his father are so warm and inviting and eager to accommodate your needs. The Seacrest has beautiful views of the beach, comfortable rooms, and an incredible breakfast menu. Derek has great suggestions for things to do around Galway and restaurants to try during your stay. Derek’s a great conversationalist and wants to make you feel like you’re at home. My mom and I were only at Seacrest for a couple of days, but we were sad to say our good-byes for the next leg of our journey. When you think about a B&B in Ireland, the Seacrest is exactly what you imagine - a beautiful landscape, wonderful breakfast, and an amazing host!

Extremely friendly and helpful host, quiet and comfortable and very clean. Plentiful and delicious breakfast.

Every room states ensuite, but in fact the room we booked had a large bathroom (private for our use only) but it was across the hallway so not technically an ensuite. This was not clear when we booked. Host provided bathrobes but just be aware.

Really Good, great welcome!

I chose Seacrest as I needed a room for the night. The location is rural and stunning views. There was great choice for the breakfast and if anything there was too much food for me! As a solo traveller I would stay here again.

I found the ensuite tight in space but it was perfect otherwise.

Great location, only 10 mins drive from Galway, owner was super nice who gave us a lot of local knowledge & recommendations, we will def come back again! Tasty breakfast too!
