Lovely Hotel in the centre of Plymouth, Great Breakfast and friendly helpful staff.
4.3
Nice welcome.
Bedroom was quiet and clean, with a comfortable bed, tea and coffee tray.
The hotel is ideally located very close to the city center and attractions in a quiet street.
Free parking.
Breakfast is generous with plenty of choices.
4.3
Our stay was excellent. room was spotless bed very comfortable.staff very friendly.breakfast was freshly cooked.highly recommend it.
Nothing to dislike.
4.3
Breakfast was really good. Staff very friendly. To be honest we only came over from Cornwall and booked it, as the location was perfect for us to walk to after we got married at Pier One on the Hoe. We would stay there again if we needed something for a similar occasion. It also has parking which is a bonus in that location. Good value for money too. x
Nothing it was all good.
4.3
Location was excellent.
Immaculately clean.
Friendly and helpful staff.
4.3
The breakfast was excellent.
Good location just a short walk from The Hoe and Theatre.
Parking was very limited.

I'll definitely return

The room was a good size, the beds were comfy, nice shower & bathroom. Very clean. Staff were all very helpful and friendly, and there was a good choice for breakfast, and the full English we had was great. Fab location

CHECK IN, BREAKFAST, ROOM AND SHOWER, CHECK OUT
Unfortunately the fire alarm went off at 6.45am which rather disturbed our sleep and there were no members of staff available to take charge.
4.3
The room was big and up to date: phone charger plugs on every socket by every bed! Good quality furnishings and fittings all round. Excellent breakfast included in the price, overall very good value for money. Super friendly and responsive staff.
It wasn't a problem for us, but the staircase up to the top floor is very narrow and has a sharp turn in it - not ideal for carrying heavy luggage.
4.3
Freya the receptionist gave us a wonderful greeting made a brilliant impression, room was clean had space enough and coffee and tea facilities were ample. Bed was comfy but the highlight was the walk in shower with waterfall shower head didn't want to get out. Breakfast was perfect set us up for the day. all in all exceeded our expectations 😊
Pillows were quite soft that's it!!
4.3
Quiet location, easy access to the Barbican, free parking as we arrived early.
Bedroom was very hot. The breakfast tables were so tight some were impossible to sit at. Really poorly designed and laid out.
4.3
Comfy, clean, staff friendly and helpful, breakfast amazing
The shower tray had a huge crack around the drain area due to this it caused us to slide down to drain because of the break. It was very difficult to use it due to damage.
4.3
The room was bright and comfortable and the shower very efficient
The breakfast room was too crowded, too many tables for the space. An overflow room would be better
4.3
Very clean

The room looked exactly like the picture, which doesn’t happen often. All the staff were welcoming, friendly and ever so helpful. It was extremely clean. Many many options for breakfast they really did cater for everyone’s needs.

Breakfast is perfectly cook by Chef John. Good quality used either meat or vegetable
Nice & clean room with smell fresh
Location is definitely over the moon.
Well done team !!!!
Room quite small , however, you get what you pay
Dressing table with tiny mirror isn’t practically
Personally preference, lighting is too bright

Fantastic stay. Lovely friendly greeting on arrival which was early as we were going to the afternoon theatre performance. Room was spotlessly clean and shower was amazing. Breakfast had a wide range of options and the cooked food was great. Overall a fab place to stay.
All great.
4.3
Proximity to TRP
Fantastic veggie breakfast

All great - maybe later check out time but I’m aware how that may compromise cleaning

The hotel has recently been refurbished so our room was lovely, everything clean and new.
The dining room was also newly refurbished and was lovely.
Bonus of a bar for a late night drink.
Nothing, all perfect.
4.3
Welcoming on arrival, lovely room very good standard
Busy car park
4.3
Centralised location. Short walk to Hoe park and the picturesque coastal view of Plymouth. Less than 10 minutes walk to city centre, Barbican and Sutton harbour where you find many nice eateries, seafood (try The Catch), high tea (The Tudor Rose) and drinks - including Plymouth gin distillery. Also near ferry port that takes you to Drake Island and Mt Edgcumbe.
We stayed in a big family room. It was very clean, fresh and modern. Comfortable beds and excellent shower. Reception was nice, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was modest but freshly cooked. It was so lovely that we extended another night. Good value for money. Would be back again.
Parking is on first come first serve basis. If you come after 6pm, you have to look for public or private carpark. Staircase is narrow. So you may have a difficult time if you are carrying a medium or large suitcase. No shower gel even after the 2nd day. Had to go to reception to request for a bottle.
