- The detached garage is available upon requests for guests requiring additional storage (e.g. 4-6 motorcycles) for an additional $50 fee.

I had an enjoyable stay and everybody was happy with it.

Our stay was fair. It was clean when we arrived and the perfect size for my family of 6. What I did not like was the rough area, bugs everywhere outside, bugs in the inside including roaches and ants you will see roach traps all through the house we kilt two of them not trying to take them home, the shower water don’t get hot and you will have chores to do. I don’t want to pay a lot of money for a night or two too clean /take out trash when I pay for cleaning. The owner is very nice and answered all my questions with no problem.

The outside is simple but the inside is so warm and welcoming. It was clean and comfortable with a perfect lay out. I highly reccomend this cute place if you are visiting the area.

Everything was great! I really enjoyed the baby touches for the guests! The beds were a delight to sleep in and all the amenities were a nice touch. A home away from home.

I enjoyed my stay. Renovations make the inside a must see. Don’t judge the book by its cover. As we got closer to the home, the appearance of the neighborhood swayed my wife and son. Before we could look at the inside, she decided to stay at the hotel that my sons baseball team was staying in. I grew up on the other side of town (West End), so I was not disturbed by the appearance of the surrounding area. After getting them checked in, I went back to the home and was pleasantly surprised. The house was neat, clean and stocked with everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and conveniently located near everything I needed. Definitely recommend staying here.

The house was the perfect size for our family of 4. All of the appliances worked well. Driveway was tough for one of our cars to get in and out of.

Property was centrally located to everywhere we needed to be in the Birmingham metro. Quiet neighborhood. Property not fully fenced in so if bringing a dog be mindful of that but we were able to put a gate on the side that was not fenced in and it worked perfectly. Air conditioning works great to beat the heat.

In town for my kids swim meet at the Birmingham Crossplex. Location wasn’t too far and the neighborhood was safe and we felt comfortable staying with our kiddos. The property was exactly as described, clean, and had the amenities we needed for the 3 day trip! Would definitely recommend

DO NOT stay at this property. This property is smack in the middle of the ghetto. We were in the property for no less then 10 minutes before I contacted the owner to kindly ask for a refund and to cancel the rest of the reservation. He declined. Stated he has a no refund policy. We were not in a safe location and wanted out. I called VRBO and they offered no assistance as well. Later on in the 1st night there were coach roaches crawling around in 1 of the bedrooms we had to kill. I have pictures and video. I again contacted the owner with no response. I called VRBO again and they once again provided no assistance. We then left the property and I was out my whole stay in the home as neither the owner or VRBO allowed a refund. The pictures of this property look great online but it is NOT great. DO NOT STAY HERE! According to a documentary on worst neighborhoods in Birmingham, this neighborhood clocked in at #6 out of 10.

Very Unique Space
First off the property was recently rehabbed with fresh paint and fixtures. Ample space for the size of our group(2 elderly women, my husband and grandchild) We were pleased aesthetically with the unit but my husband became more concerned with the HVAC. There was a constant permeated smell reminiscent of mold. Although we didn’t see mold none the less he knows what it smells like. There is only one entrance to the unit(not sure if that’s legal) so in an emergency consider climbing out the window to safety. Although I would say that we have stayed in worst units but this is not our fav and will pass on it in the future.

Everything We Needed…and More!
Check in was extremely easy. Communication from the property manager was exceptional. The property was very well maintained and clean. My family and I felt safe while staying there. The rooms were large and well decorated. We had plenty of space for our family of 4. If ever in the area again we would definitely stay there again. We highly recommend using this property.

Nice place
The property was good condition, parking is a little tight but good . We couldn’t find specific details on check out on linens and towels… were going to put them in washer but it had been closed for awhile and has lots of mildew in it and smells really bad so we left them in front of the washer. Thank you again would recommend any one to stay
