The listing was very accurate. The view was beautiful and a nice home. The only negative was the cleaning

A beautiful home with beautiful views of Lake Washington and the Cascade Mountains, quiet residential neighborhood, easy access to Seattle’s public transportation network and shopping. The main bedroom and en-suite is large, well appointed and comfortable. The outdoor space is lovely albeit in need of weed removal, plant and lawn manicuring and some general sprucing up of the property.
Unfortunately the presence of ants, especially in the second bedroom and in the common area between the second and third bedrooms and in the third bathroom was disheartening. My wife said she felt like she had an ant crawling across her during the night and when she used the third bathroom while blow drying her hair ants were falling out of the ceiling light-exhaust fan fixture onto her hair while she stood beneath the light while using the mirror. She moved away from the light fixture to complete her hair drying process but ants continued to come out of the light fixture. Ants were also crawling across the floors, walls and in the closet. The evidence of ants particularly on the south half of the house was very noticeable. I’m afraid they’re doing immense damage to the walls, studs and foundation of this marvelous home.

The pictures don’t do the property & view justice. We loved everything about it. It was less than 30 minutes to everything we wanted to do but still away from the city enough to relax. There was a splash park a little over 10 minutes away that the kids loved!

The house was spacious and had everything needed. The view of the Lake was amazing!! The TV was small for the large living room- we weren’t there to watch TV- but would be a positive add.

This house was in a great location, had great views of the lake, cleanliness was very good. We enjoyed our stay very much and would stay there again if in the area.

We booked this place to be near planned activities in Seattle while testing recipes for a future wedding. The property is beautiful and peaceful, in an area easy to drive in and pretty close to any stores that might be needed. The instructions to check in and out were very clear and the gift bag / suggestions for things to do during the stay were very thoughtful. There were some things that seemed overlooked by the cleaning crew from previous guests, but in general it was very comfortable, had decent amenities and lots of space for those wanting to stay in rather than explore the city.

The house was tastefully decorated and the view was beautiful!

My daughter and her family loved the spacious home and beautiful water view from the huge windows!

The backyard is overlooking a lake and the views at sunrise and sunset are next level. This is definitely a nice stay with the family.
Also side-note, definitely visit the Flo-anna’s diner, which is nearby for your breakfast.

The picture shows the backyard it we were not able to access it. All exterior doors were locked with a deadbolt. I texted and communicated via the VRBO app and never received a response. This house is great if you don’t want to go outside.

The place is as described, and the outdoor space and lake view are truly amazing! Beds are really comfortable, and everything works well for our need.

Our purpose for renting a home in Seattle was to have a comfortable place to stay with my parents (age 78 and 80) while visiting our son who lives in Greenlake. Originally, I was excited to have a house with a view overlooking Lake Washington. That aspect of the property was as shown. Very beautiful. There is a nice table and 4 chairs out back. No grill, fire pit, or benches. The backyard grass is turf. Very nice artificial grass though. Neighbors are close, but lots of privacy with fencing and landscape.
The home itself has great windows looking outside on the master suite side and backyard. The other side of the house is not as bright and open feeling. The house is a bit dated in its decor and furnishings. The second bedroom is as small as it looks online. The playroom was not very useful for us. The small couch in that room appears to be a sleeper sofa. The house does not seem to be newly renovated as advertised, but maybe the wear and tear has been extreme as a rental. The cabinet doors in the kitchen still swing open, the master shower door won’t close, insufficient towels and washcloths…all previously mentioned in a May 2022 review, followed by assurances these would rectified. There were several missing light bulbs in various locations and a flashing fluorescent bulb in the kitchen (annoying). We didn’t use much in the kitchen so I can’t say whether the appliances work well or if it is well stocked.
My biggest disappointment in this house was the feeling of “grunge”. Many drawers and cabinets had a sticky, dirty feel. There was visible uncleanliness in some areas, no washcloths, 2 hand towels, and maybe four or five bath towels. We tried reaching out for help with this, but there was a lack of response from the property management team at Vacasa. There were many cobwebs, dead bugs in the lights above the dining table, some gross goo in the overhead light in the second bedroom. The bathroom off of this bedroom had multiple areas of various splatters…wall, ceiling, cabinet. Hair and other debris was in the bathroom drawers. All of this made us question the cleanliness of the entire house. The duvets on the beds had spots, couches and carpets had spots as well.
We could not get the cable to work on the TV’s and again no help from Vacasa. Finally, the day before we left, someone did drop off extra washcloths and towels.
I was looking for a comfortable place to rest, but all of these hurdles made it a very uncomfortable stay.

Lovely home and yard. Lovely view.
More hand towels and wash cloths needed.
Dirty dishes and flatware in cabinets - yuck!
Master Shower door latch needs repair.
Sink and range lights not working properly.
All relatively minor stuff that when fixed would make this a 5 Star rental.

Great floor plan. Awesome view. Cozy. A few cabinets in the kitchen don t wanna stay closed and the check out time is too early but aside from that we LOVED this house.
