About this house rental

We have made our Vrbo the way we would love it - comfortable! Our Colorado Cozy Cottage has 2 Queen size memory foam pillow top beds covered in Egyptian cotton sheets & down blankets. We have a full kitchen with all the items you need for cooking, washer/dryer with detergent, & bathroom with amenities.

Our Cozy Cottage is very special to us. We got married in the backyard! We live down the street so if there’s anything you need just let us know!

They include a memory foam mattress with a pillow top, down pillows, memory foam pillows, down comforter, & luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets. By each bed are two lamps with two USB charging ports in each so you can juice up.

There is a sweet hand made entertainment center (crafted by my talented hubby from our upcycled fence) which includes an electric fireplace in the living room to make sure you stay warm & cozy.

There is also a 55 inch Smart TV on an articulating mount. You can position the TV towards the couch & snuggle to watch shows on our guest Netflix account or swing it to the kitchen while cooking in our supply stocked kitchen.

There is a full kitchen with all the tools you need for cooking (oven, cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, freezer with ice cube trays, dishwasher, pots/pans, toaster, mixing bowls, strainer, measuring utensils, baking pans, pizza pans, silverware, glasses, coffee pot, cooking utensils, & condiments). Coffee is provided for you.

Free parking is available on the property for 2 vehicles. Outlet for charging EV vehicles available.

Full sized washer and dryer are included with detergent.

Bathroom includes a claw foot tub with a shower. Towels, wash cloths, shampoo, conditioner, & body wash are available.

Free Wifi of course!!

A deck of cards, Cards against Humanity, & Jenga are provided.

We have remodeled our very first family home (700 square feet) & spent time & consideration into creating the most comfortable space for our guests to enjoy.

We take pride in our space & offer only what we would enjoy. Cleanliness is very important to us. Less clutter & clean with comfort!!!!

Many come to Colorado to experience the opportunity to buy & try Marijuana. There is no smoking in the Colorado Cozy Cottage, but if you are respectful & discrete from our neighbors we are 420 friendly. No smoking next to doors & windows please.

We have a backyard with a large deck & a pond next to it. A waterfall flows into the pond & you can feed the fish too (the silver koi is named Chicken Nugget). There is no entering the pond & of course children must be watched at all times.

Fun Close Destinations!!! We suggest driving while on vacation or Ride Shares (Uber & Lift) work too!

- Coors Field Rockies/Downtown is 7.8 miles away
- Park across the street - Stite’s Park has a basketball court, baseball field, large grassy area, and playground.

The pics and other reviews sold us on this adorable cottage and it did not disappoint! Heather was so easy to communicate with, the location was perfect for what we were doing, and the property had everything we needed and then some! We could tell Heather has put a lot of thought into creating a comfortable home away from home and we would absolutely stay there again!

This cozy cottage was the perfect place for us to stay for our 2 night klove concerts at Red Rocks! We also whitewater tubed in Golden and met friends in Denver. What a super cute and cozy place! I appreciated the cleanliness of the house, outdoor living (and koi fish!), convenient location, extra amenities (extra towels, fast WIFI, throw blankets, night lights, and laundry detergent/dryer sheets), and super communicative host. My only complaints are the pillows were extra firm and too big for our preference and the bed wasn't as firm and comfortable as I wanted. But to be honest, I am a very picky sleeper. Thank you for the wonderful stay, Heather.

Heather was very accommodating and easy to reach if we needed anything. Lots of accommodations in the place too. We really enjoyed the fish pond in the back and the place was a very quick, easy ride to anywhere near downtown Denver.

It really was the perfect place for us to stay after 5 days on the road. We went to a Red Rocks concert and stayed at the Cozy Cottage the day of the concert and the day after to rest for our trip back home to St. Louis. The beds and pillows were great and the backyard was an oasis! :-) We would definitely stay there again and already recommended to a couple friends planning to visit Red Rocks and the Golden area. Heather was a great host and the cottage was perfect for the 3 of us. Thank you!!

The property is in the cutest neighborhood! The cottage was very clean and accommodating. The claw foot tub is an extra special treat while staying here. Feels like a home from home! Def recommend staying here if you’re coming to Denver with your partner or friends.

My sister and I came to denver to enjoy some hiking. We loved the location of this house because the area was super peaceful and downtown Denver was a short drive away. I loved the way the house was decorated and enjoyed spending time outside in the beautiful backyard. The beds were very comfortable and I slept great every night we were there. We would definitely stay here again on a future trip!

We had such a wonderdul stay. The location is quiet and we felt safe during our visit. The house is absolutly charming and every detail has been considered by the owners. My kids enjoyed feeding the koi fish daily and having Netflix available. I loved all the homey details - several things that we forgot to bring were conveniently stocked. We do wish the washer had worked, but the owner said it was a new problem that they were addressing. We would stay again without question!

Upon arrival we knew this place was going to be great. It was charming, clean, and had a great layout. Me, my husband and a friend met up to see a show at the Red Rocks. This location was perfect for us as it was less than a 30 min drive to the venue. Both beds were amazing and covered with super soft down comforters and sheets. It felt like we were sleeping in clouds. The entire place was clean, had everything we needed and we even got to feed the fish in the Koi pond out back. The host was easy to reach and check-in/out was a breeze . 5 stars all the way. We would totally stay here again nect time we are in town for a show.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Cozy Cottage - it was a vacation that me and my girlfriend will not soon forget. Not only was the house super cute and comfortable for our 7 day stay but it was incredibly well located - 5 miles (15 minutes from downtown), <20 mins to Red Rocks and only about 30 minutes to the foothills/ start of the mountains.

We traveled from Iowa with friends to see Caamp at Red Rocks. This cottage was perfect in every way. Heather was kind and responsive when we had questions, the location is ideal to visit surrounding cities, (especially breweries) and the cottage itself is filled with charming details. We enjoyed our coffee each morning next to the Koi pond, and we LOVED Heather’s music theme. Highly recommend! ☮️❤️

My daughter and I stayed in this cozy cottage while visiting Denver for the Taylor Swift concert. This property is delightful with an oasis-like backyard. It's cute, clean and comfortable. The location is ideal for getting to/from events downtown and the Wheat Ridge/Tennytown area of shopping/dining is only 5 minutes away. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect spot for our week in Denver! Everything we needed was provided. The beds were comfy and the backyard was absolutely gorgeous! I would recommend using mosquito repellent if you plan to spend hours enjoying the fish pond and garden like I did. If we're ever back in the area, we will definitely stay here again!

We were in town to see my nephews graduation and to see a concert at Red Rocks. The house is lovely. Easy to get in and out, cute/funny personal touches throughout the house, an insanely comfortable bed and the best is the stunning back yard. You get to feed the fish. The only drawback for me is one bathroom and we are all tall (5'11'' - 6'5 and the shower head was a little low but even that was easily managed and had wonderful temperature and water pressure. Would very much recommend.

This cottage is very cozy, the perfect spot to go from and return to. The bedding and beds are very comfy and inviting. The host, Heather, is extremely responsive to questions. We had a wonderful visit to Denver sites and a great stay at the cozy cottage. I highly recommend, as long as you can get in and out of a clawfoot tub/shower! And the Adirondack chairz on the back are not to be missed. Great rental.

The home is super-cute, both inside and out. The backyard is quite amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed starting each morning eating my breakfast on the back deck looking over the koi pond. Also, communication was great with Heather checking in with me periodically to make sure everything was going well and to see if I needed anything. Such a great experience.

We have recently moved away from Colorado to Alabama and returned for our son's college graduation. Our kids both live in the Edgewater neighborhood and this house was perfect!! So many things nearby and the house was beyond warm and cozy!

This place was incredible. My spouse fell asleep while lying out in the hammock in the backyard while listening to the sound of the running water into the pond. The beds were comfortable, the house had a charming but rock'n'roll feel to it, and it was strategically positioned such that we could order food from several restaurants throughout the neighborhood. We had a great time at the Red Rocks concert, and getting from the cottage to the venue was simple. We are eager to stay with Heather again for a holiday, perhaps this time we'll explore the hiking trails in the Denver area. She is a wonderful host. Heather, yet again, you are the finest.

First time visit to Denver environs and so glad we found #coloradocozycottage for our week-long stay! A very convenient location and easy access to exploring all the sights. Wonderful to be able to comfortably relax in the beautiful – fun indoor space, and loved loved loved the backyard, deck, pond, arbor. Very hard to leave! Heather’s attention to detail, planning the amenities, creating comfort made this in the top 3 VRBO’s we’ve stayed at in our world-wide travels. Also excellent was Heather’s clear communication and being quickly responsive to any questions. Very much enjoyed feeling well cared for. 10-Stars!!
