We had a lovely stay at this home on Bainbridge Island. The listing is not misleading at all. We took the kayaks out one day and it was an easy transport to the inlet down the road. It should be noted that you can access the water from that point, but you cannot use the beaches in front of the homes down there as it is considered private property. The house had everything we needed but is does not have AC. We only had one day in early July when that would have been nice to have. It cools down nicely in the evenings and the fans provided help a lot. Coming from Florida we booked knowing there wasn't AC in the home and were pleasantly surprised for the most part that it was not necessary most days. As Floridians who don't frequent this part of the country it is unheard of not to have AC! Our advice would be to check the temperatures in the summer for the timeframe you are visiting to see if no AC is a deal breaker. All in all, the hose was clean, comfortable and suited our needs just fine! We would recommend this home and would absolutely book again!

OK but beds were hard, too few hangers no suitcase rack, one pky TP.
4.7
The beds were super comfy and the house had everything you could possibly need. It was so nice to be that close to the water and being able to bring our sweet Golden was a bonus!!

If you are trying to figure out where to stay. Stop right here. This is the one. Private, quiet, charming, confortable, friendly neighborhood. It is not too far from the Ferry with easy access to seattle. If you plan on cooking a lot, you may need extra pots and pans, but i already travel with that. Daily needs are not far away with plenty of wineries, groceries, and restaurant within a short drive. You will absolutely fall in love with this home!

The place was great. Great neighborhood. Close to downtown Bainbridge. It had beautiful big backyard. Would love to stay again.

Loved our stay here on Bainbridge Island. Getting away from all the buzz of the city (Seattle) was wonderful. Although secluded, we were just minutes away from many fun places to visit. We even got to see a troll! Poulsbo was a delight and their bakery is the best. Highly recommend!! After a day spent sight-seeing and spending time with a large family group, it was lovely to come back "home" to a quiet, cozy house.
4.7
Beautiful area and home. Very peaceful and relaxing setting. The home was well stocked and had everything we could hope for.
4.7
Great property! We had a great time with our 3 young kids. Very cozy and comfortable. The perfect cabin vibe and had everything we needed.
4.7
The home is beautiful and the owners have made it clear that dogs are welcome!
4.7
Overall it was decent but there are some repairs that need to happen and the ridiculousness of trying to charge us an additional cleaning fee to add on a day at the beginning of the stay was beyond me. The skylight in the bathroom leaked when it rained and there was mold growing on the surround of the skylight. The cupboard doors in the master bathroom were broken and the heater in the master bedroom didn't work. There should be blinds up front on the windows as the whole front is windows and everyone can see right in.
On the up side the kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, the backyard was fenced in so it was very dog-friendly.

The property worked for our group of 4 adults. We enjoyed sitting on the patio among the trees and walking down to the water.
4.7
This property is located on Fletcher Landing and less than a 5 minute walk to the public entry point to the water. There were 3 Kayaks, one tandem and two singles with all the accessories.
However this property is in need of a competent handy man. One of the two sinks in the master bath was not operable - due to drain issue that would have been very easy to fix. Of the 7 light fixtures in the master bath, only 2 had working light bulbs.
The guest bathroom had a missing piece for the toilet paper holder, rug was dirty, shower curtain had mold and stains
The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and nice appliances. A paper towel holder would be a nice addition. Water Filter in refrigerator had expired.
The rug in the living room had multiple stains and needs a thorough cleaning or be replaced. The TV in the living room was not working and needed some simple troubleshooting to find that the HDMI cable was not fully seated. There was only one key to the property - there should at least be two keys or upgraded to electronic locks. It would be helpful to have a few simple tools in the garage, ie, screwdriver, pliers, tape, extra light bulbs, etc.
My advice to the property owner is to find a local host that can help make sure the property is in good shape and can help guests if there are any issues. Communication with Vacasa to resolve issues for this property receives a F-.

Beautiful, quiet location. We loved the free kayaks to explore the sound.
We would have loved a gas firepit to enjoy the little seating area outdoors…just a suggestion. However, the home was as described and we would definitely stay again.
4.7
Very nice property, quiet, clean and walking distance from the sound.Would return if in the area.

Layout of the house is great-but did not feel clean. Master and other bedroom sheets were not changed before our arrival, nor was there detergent or extra sheets. Fingerprints on appliances and floors felt sticky. Both toilet paper dispensers were broken, shower curtains mildewed (as well as some of the grout), and 4/6 vanity lights in the master were out. property manager did come out after I reported issues and brought detergent and tried to replace bulbs but didn’t come back to finish the job (guessing bulbs hard to find). Pros were comfortable beds/couch, fans in all of the bedrooms, proximity to the water, back lawn, and decent kitchen and appliances. However, kitchen was very barebones -only salt/pepper and two nespresso pods.
4.7
Clean, very comfortable and extremely quiet. Well equipped with kayaks and everything. One of our favorite places so far!
4.7
Beautiful home, very comfortable.

Everything was as expected or better. In their binder for details they wrote things out very kindly. The house was clean and everything worked, better than expected. I really thought this place was terrific. One of the best VRBO's we have stayed at.
4.7
Wonderful house and well supplied. A beautiful location, minutes walk to the beach.
4.7
We loved the house and bonus kayaks. The front patio was perfect to relax. The beds comfy and jet tub super relaxing after a day in the water.
4.7
This property honestly looks better in person! Great vibe inside and out, amazing location. We will definitely return! So many things to do outdoors very close. The community was kind and friendly. Host responded immediately (under 1 min) since we had a bit of difficulty getting in. A MUST STAY!
4.7
Great place just steps from the bay. Lovely and we’ll kept home!
4.7
Fabulous location close to water activities in Fletcher Bay and hiking in the Grand Forest, as well as a short drive to downtown area of Winslow for dining, ice cream, and shopping for souvenirs, art, toys, books, and antiques. The property is as described by the owner and is in a gorgeous, peaceful neighborhood with relaxing amenities and lovely, comfortable furnishings. Our family of 5 enjoyed every moment of every day here!
4.7
Great location near Fletcher Bay. Just a few doors down away from waterfront sunsets and kayak launch through small accessible water launch area.
4.7
Well-kept home with amenities (wood-burning stove, wi-fi, kayaks), only a short drive from many hiking trails.
4.7
Truly a gem of a place. It had everything we needed. There were a few minor inconveniences such as the famous too-low kitchen hood and lack of large towel rack in hallway bathroom but these were vastly outnumbered by the major pluses of this place including the tree-filled view, relaxing setting and kayaks... hope to be back later this year!

This gem of a vacation house is private, clean and comfortable. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with a peak-a-boo view of the sound. We were able to report a problem and ask questions of Turnkey during our stay. The company was very responsive. We had a good stay and won't hesitate to reserve this house again.

Reviewer Comments:
We found this to be a very comfortable, spotless, and well-equipped home for an extended (4-month) stay, but it's probably more suited for summer or late spring than off-season. In autumn and winter, with the sun lower in the sky, the house became a tad dark due and even gloomy due to the towering cedars that keep it in nearly perpetual darkness.A couple of reviewers have mentioned bonking their heads on the low hood over the cooktop. Trust me, they are not exaggerating. Even after 4 months my wife and I (of vastly differing heights) were STILL occasionally cracking our heads (and one occasion, almost poking an eye out) on the blasted thing. And even if you manage to avoid contact, you have to duck under it to cook. The contractor who installed it should be stripped of his license. But there are lots of good restaurants on the island, so it won't affect the majority of renters.Beautiful views of the Olympic Mountains and the bay were a delight, the neighborhood is extremely quiet, and communications with Turnkey were efficient and entirely satisfactory. All in all, a perfect spot for a peaceful vacation.

The property was very quiet and out of the way, with easy access to the water if desired. The house was clean, welcoming, full of resources/information to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. We had one issue with the bathtub, but property management came out and deal with it quickly and effectively. I would definitely recommend this place to others and stay here again in the future. We enjoyed it very much - thank you for a wonderful experience!
