Very clean and whimsical!

The area was quiet I didn’t even hear traffic. Off limit items should NOT be where guests might TOUCH them. Seeing labels on everything was unwelcoming. The downstairs bdrms chandeliers were too low for the height of the beds. The lack of blinds/curtains that weren’t see through was another HUGE issue. I prefer privacy while I’m inside day and especially at night. The cameras in every room was invasive because Blink systems have live feeds. I don’t agree with them inside the bdrms. bc outside mounting in the window would be secure enough. Trash wasn’t picked up the day before so our trash was overflow. This host insisted, “It’s in my contract that I meet guest…when you check in a hotel you have to meet a person to get your keys/the fact that I’m giving you my keys to my home I want to put them in your hands…I will be waiting for you and your guest.” We always arrive at night to avoid traffic she insisted that she’d be waiting instead of leaving the key in the lockbox like every other rental I’ve ever used on Vrbo. She left before we got there/called us to leave yet another note on the door with the code which is usually sent through the app before we arrive🙄 I’m certain that all of these rentals are owned by someone. I picked this place bc it’s near family. I don’t like being hovered over. The last day she said she wanted to meet us before we left😤 but couldn’t bc of the time. We came back someone was at the house but the music was up so loud they never heard us knocking.

We had a great stay. The host was excellent and gave those extra details of providing snacks. The house was stocked with plenty of towels. The decor and style of the hose was so cute. The only disappointment we had was that the previous renters had damaged the upstairs bathroom so we didn’t have access to that shower (which wasn’t the hosts fault. We had rented this home specifically for three bathroom as we were a group of 6 adults.

Ms Urania was a superhost. She kept the lines of communication open and provided a tour of her property. My guests and I were in awe of how beautiful , contemporary and nice the home was decorated. Ms Urania did a wonderful job & highly recommend this property. I love the easy access to downtown Baltimore. I would definitely rent again.

Cute but not clean
This place is very cute but however it was not very clean at all. There was mold on the shower curtain and we found underwear in the couch. We had to remove her personal laundry from the dryer. We paid for the cleaning fee but yet it needed to be swept and there was several things that was not clean. But the owner was very nice and easy to deal with

Very clean residence.
The bathrooms were very clean. We could have used more towels. Unable to use washer and dryer-they both had loads of laundry in them. Overall, a good experience. Thank you.

Nice home, quiet neighborhood
My friends and I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend. The house felt welcoming and was very well decorated. The neighborhood was quiet with plenty of street parking. Unfortunately the backyard had not been mowed so we weren’t able to utilize that outdoor space during our stay and there was also no hot water in the upstairs shower. But overall we enjoyed our stay and thank Urania for allowing us to stay in her home!

Hidden Palace - The Perfect Baltimore Bungelow
My colleagues and I had the absolute honor of staying at this residence during a conference my business hosted in Baltimore. When we arrived, I first noted a quiet, residential neighborhood. The property was easy to find and looked exactly like the pictures - very picturesque. The charming exterior boasts a decorative homestead that looks like a five star accommodation. I have booked at the Mandarin and Ritz Carlton before as a corporate employee; and, this place holds the same, luxury amenities. From the scent, the unique decorative elements, the art which was well-placed and integrated nicely into the overall design and choice of furniture, every where we looked, our senses were delighted. All of the furniture was not only well-selected but also comfortable from the couches, dining chairs and the beds. The soaps, linens and dishes all have a personal touch that reflect an innkeeper that takes immense pride in hosting. My personal favorite was walking into a home with light music playing, mock candles burning and a tray with a book and luxury soap setup for a what could be a relaxing bath. The home even had oversized bathrobes for guests (and dream catchers :-) My colleagues and I could not wait to return to the home every day after a long day's work. The home is also secure - smart locks and fenced in backyard. Any time that I visit Baltimore, I will stay here and recommend the stay to all my friends. I simply have nothing but a five star review for this bed and breakfast, that I believe is truly a hidden gem that deserves the highest accolade. You won't regret staying here!

Very clean
The property was very clean and well kept didn’t seem like it belonged in the area, considering all the young men hanging out on corners and selling illicit drugs.
Pros: clean and neat
Cons: not in a good neighborhood, lack of communication with owner considering we had the exact number of people I put on the reservation but she contacted the listing agent and said we had more people when she could of just called me like she did when we arrived. No hot water in any of the showers so we left a day early then what we planned. Overall the owner needs to check her hot water pressure and inform her neighbors she renting out her place as well as communicate a little better instead of assuming.

A beautiful place to stay
Urania was a wonderful host and provided us with more than we could have asked for including bathroom amenities and so many snacks! The neighbourhood itself was a little rougher than expected, but we felt very safe in the house and just made sure to keep the doors locked. Only minor complaint is the water pressure on the third and middle floor could have been better and the temperature of the shower on the first floor didn’t get very warm, but when we spoke to Urania about it, she already had plans in the works to fix it. Besides that we looked forward to getting back to the house after a long and tiring day at a conference and were grateful to have comfortable sleeping arrangements for the 5 in our group as well as a lovely selection of teas and warm treats to choose from- would come back again!!
