I’m not sure we have enough room to list everything we loved about this home because it was everything!!! Parking, beach access, pool and outdoor furniture (so plentiful), kitchen accessories, ice makers on every floor, flow of how the house is set up, furniture in the home was so accommodating for a large family. Can’t say enough good things about this home!

This house has everything you need. It is so solid, quiet, well built and gorgeously appointed. We rented twice in a row.

We had a wonderful stay at the Blue Horizon Beach House! The views were absolutely amazing and the house was so clean and spacious! We are looking forward to staying again soon!

This was one of the most lovely homes in which I've ever had the opportunity to stay. While the wifi connection left much to be desired, I always come prepared with a travel connection so, it didn't make that big a difference. The elevator came in so much handy as we ordered out each meal. I would definitely revisit this home.

Beautiful home. Bring extra towels, only one towel per person. Difficult with two pools, one hot tub and the beach!
Our second stay, we will definitely will be back

My children and grandchildren love this house. Best pool and beach entrance in Sandbridge, VA. IT’s everything you could hope for in a beach house. We had 20 in our group and so much sitting space with the most amazing views of the ocean. We love this house. It’s gorgeous!!

Beautifully decorated beach house with unbeatable floor plan for large family gatherings. As rentors for the past 3 years, we love the top floor with an awesome panoramic view of the ocean front. Huge kitchen and island offering plenty of seating. The adjoining living room space has multiple seating areas for TV watching, game playing or conversation. Nice wet bar and pool table add more fun to gatherings. New flooring and all new couches and club chairs are beautiful. All the bedrooms are nice and the pools, game room, gym and theater room make this a great home to keep coming back to.

Great communication prior to stay and after. Would highly recommend this house.
Pros: location, parking, amenities, and the house was as advertised
Cons: needed more towels, outdoor grill area could have been cleaner, and windows could have been cleaner.

This house is as gorgeous as the pics. However it was NOT cleaned enough when we arrived. The “cleaners” were done within a couple hours. There was sand on the floors, up the stairs, in the bedrooms. There were dust bunnies up the staircase, in the corners and in the bed rooms. Several of us had to clean our own showers because there were hairs, and residue. GROSS!
The light in the pool does not work (it happens). The outdoor furniture was weathered and mildewed.
We had very little propane in 1 of the 2 grills. The other was empty. When we called for replacement tanks….we were told “it is not a listed amenity”. After several phone calls 1 tank was finally delivered.
The garbage from the last tenants was never taken to the road. The multiple garbage and recycling bins were overflowing with access bags on the ground near them. We had nowhere to put our garbage.
Again, beautiful house if it were cleaned. Horrible cleaning staff and poor customer service from Vacasa.

Loved the view, location and overall amenities. House is showing some wear and needs a deep clean.

The view, the outdoor pool, two kitchens, lots of room. - All good
Sticking entry doors, grotty windows (handprints and baby drool), torn cover on hot tub - Not so good.

We recently stayed at, Blue Horizon in Virginia Beach. While the house itself was a great layout for our family trip we did have several issues.
The house itself is not reflected accurately in the pictures that are posted online. The photos of Blue Horizon on the website show a beautiful pristine home, with crisp and impeccable decor. That is not an accurate representation of the home. The photos are outdated compared to the actual home inside. There are no rugs in the bedrooms as the photos show, the house is extremely noisy, the majority of the bedrooms are on the 2nd floor and you can hear any movement from the floor above which has the main gathering areas. There is black mold on a ceiling vent, and all the outdoor cushions have black mold and some holes, rips and tears. Some of the bedroom curtains, and a box spring has stains. None of the pictures reflect any of this.
We also lost two days of our vacation due to cleaning and maintenance issues. When we arrived at the home it had not been cleaned. There were food particles on rugs, in bedrooms and in garbage cans. Gold fish crackers in the children’s trundle beds, hair on bathroom floors, sand all throughout the house. Grease under the griddle on the stove, so much so that it was floating, which I am sure poses a fire hazard. A smoke detector disconnected in one of the bedrooms and laying on a dresser not functioning, a pair of shoes in the closet and lightbulbs in bedrooms and bathrooms burnt out. The linens were dirty, there was a blood stain on one of the mattress pads, stains on the boxspring in one bedroom, yellow stains on sheets, and stains on towels that were wrapped as clean. One of the disposals didn’t work and the refrigerator leaked water. Out of two propane tanks one was less than half full, the other was empty and there was no skimmer for the pool so that we could use it to remove the crabs that fell in from the beach.
I called Vacasa when we arrived to alert them of the cleaning and other issues and it took a day to get them to send someone over to clean, with clean linens, to address the maintenance issues and to bring us propane. Some of which did not occur until Monday. The representatives kept telling me to bear with them while they expedited my issue to local staff. They were expediting it for 7 hours Saturday from the time we arrived until I finally gave up close to midnight. We had to purchase blankets, pillows, pillowcases, and towels as well as clean the house ourselves so we could go to bed. Not a great start to vacation. Sunday I had to call again. Seems to me you have no weekend staff to address issues, which is bizarre since most check ins occur on a Saturday at 4pm.
I spoke with local staff and although they were very helpful at first now it is taking days to get someone to respond. They offered to credit us for what we paid for the items we purchased and refund our cleaning fee as well as two nights of our stay for the inconvenience. As of today we were only refunded for one night which is not what was discussed.
For the price they have this house listed for I expect to walk in to a home and have it be at a minimum clean from top to bottom. I also don’t expect to see black mold, rips, tears, stains and things that are broken. I think the house is not reflective of the price they are charging. A lot of things need to be addressed and cleaned up.
The pictures are a misrepresentation of the home. We agreed to book that home for that price based on the photos on the website. There really needs to be an update in Blue Horizon’s photos. Had the photos shown the house accurately we may have chosen something different.
I have photos of the issues we had but I am unable to add them to my review.

This is our second year staying at Blue Horizon with our family. Last summer Blue Horizon was managed by Sandbridge Realty. This year Sandbridge Realty was bought out by Vacasa which is unfortunate. The quality of customer service is vastly different. The personal touch is gone. Trying to reach a live person for any maintenance issues is nearly impossible. Everything is done through texting. If are fortunate enough to reach a 'live' person by phone, that agent could be overseas. It's very frustrating. Eventually all of our issues were resolved within 4 days of check-in. The house is beautiful, well maintained, gorgeous views of the ocean, fabulous pool, deck areas, porches, very comfortable bedrooms, wonderful movie room, work out room, arcade room, indoor pool, fabulous kitchen and great room. I can't say enough wonderful things about this house. My grandchildren love it. So close to shops and local market. The beach is right outside our pool. Love Sandbridge, love Blue Horizon. Vacasa you need to step up your customer service so your renters don't look elsewhere.

Great beach front house in a good location. Pool was nice and the game room was fun. However, the internet service is limited and will not support the number of devices that the guests have. So make sure everyone has a data plan on their phones.

too expensive, had to call everyday because there was an issue. I paid 15,000 for 1 week & I shouldn`t have had to call everyday. Never again!

The Maintenance staff at Sandbridge is very responsive- can`t complain - they tried. We did not have AC on the bottom floor despite several resets, no pool lights, broken shower. Still a beautiful place but for that much money everything should at least work properly.

Amazing home
Amazing home. Loved by each and every one! Views, kitchen, bedrooms, views, seating comfort, recreation, and views are all great!
Heads up. The step leading into the house can be a bit of a trip hazard - especially when exiting the house.

Beautiful Home
Everything about this home was beautiful and peaceful. It had some issues with the cleanliness, but it wasn't bad. It's a huge home so I understand there will be areas missed. I would stay again.
