About this towable trailer rental
Lightweight and rugged, our Taxa Cricket is designed for an optimal camping experience! With sleeping room for two adults and two children, Taxa's NASA-inspired design features integrated plumbing and electrical systems, propane heater, gas stove, sink (with hot water!) and a fully equipped kitchen. It's a perfect choice for on or off-grid camping.
The canvas tent pops up and down with ease affording superior cross-ventilation and natural light for that 'bring the outside in' experience. The large exterior awning gives you a shaded 'front porch' area to hang out under.
Park it at a tent site or head off-grid! Two powerful batteries allow you to run the lights, ceiling fan, water pump, heater/hot water and charge your devices without being plugged in for a few days. The Cricket's rugged construction is designed to handle your off-the-beaten-path adventure.
We include a complete, high-quality kitchen set with the rental. Everything you need and maybe a few things you don't! (Detailed below). We also offer an array of accessories to augment your trip such as camp chairs, sleeping pads and even a stand-up paddle board! (Extra fees apply).
The unique kids berths are suspended from the Cricket's ceiling and can fold up out of the way when not in use. Max weight is 130 lbs. 5'2" long.
There's a hot and cold outdoor shower for you, your pooch and your kids. Extra options include a porta-potty kit and privacy tent.
The Cricket weighs 1800 lbs dry, making it an easy tow for most vehicles. It takes a 2" ball hitch and a 7-pin round trailer connector. We have an adjustable hitch, a brake controller and a 4-7 pin adapter (if needed) included in rental. Feel free to reach out with questions in regards to your tow vehicle.
Whether you're a solo traveler, a couple getting away from it all, or a family looking for that next great outdoor adventure, let our lucky Cricket be your ticket!
We look forward to sharing it and meeting you soon!
