Buyer Beware. Things are not as presented on this website. On the property, weeds and trash litter along the overgrown fence line. The two story stairs to the roof/deck are unsafe. No brackets or screws, and missing the center supports, the post caps are unsecured. A woman(sister?) gave us keys. We entered the kitchen to the overwhelming fumes of an insecticide. It smelled as if the room had been coated with RAID. I covered my nose/mouth and gagged. The entire cottage was dark and dank. Wondering what to do and what on earth they had sprayed for just before our arrival, I did a quick walk through which revealed peeling paint and wallboard, they had plastered over wallpaper which was now peeling back from water stained ceilings, walls and window frames. Leaking window air conditioners with soaked towels underneath to catch the condensation, all tied together with extension cords tacked to the wallboard. The smell of mold and mildew filled the air. The tub had gaping moldy caulk along the walls edge, the shower in the other bedroom was worse. Most of the furniture was old and in terrible condition. We felt it best not to stay due to the toxic fumes, so put the keys back in the key holder on the door and left. I messaged the owner regarding the condition of the property and he denied the insecticide, and the property condition, he offered nothing and refused a refund. He eventually, through VRBO offered a partial credit if I did not post a review. But no refund.

Rustic property. No one on site. Bring all your own stuff like toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels. Plenty of space but only one functioning window. Grandma vibe. Get details of where to go and how to get in before you get there.

The property was extremely disappointing in terms of cleanliness. Wallpaper was peeling off, and we encountered a mouse and two skunks, with one spraying in the backyard, making the area unusable. We had to buy our own toilet paper and request garbage bags. The window-mounted air conditioners were excessively loud. The roof deck was partially painted with limited water views, and the outdoor furniture was rusty. Other guests frequently mistook our unit for the main office, peering through windows and knocking on our door, which felt invasive and unsafe. The main office door opens into the kitchen of the unit, with the light left on all night. A rusting walker on the porch added to the neglected feel.
Despite a very extensive collection of collectible plates and tea sets, there were no drinking glasses and only one set of utensils. Only coffee pods were provided without a compatible machine. The 30-minute walk to Main Street was longer than expected and inconvenient.
Our stay was far from pleasant, with cleanliness issues, inadequate amenities, and an unsettling, haunted feel. Two guests believed they saw ghosts, adding to the eerie atmosphere. The invasive setup of the main office, the lack of basic supplies, and the poor condition of the air conditioners and furniture made our stay uncomfortable.
I would not recommend this property to future guests unless significant improvements are made. Future guests deserve a more comfortable and well-maintained environment.

This B&B was spacious and clean with the rustic charm you would expect from a house in Cape Cod. It was within a five minute walk to the beach with a short drive to two other beaches and the Marina. The main strip was just down the road with plenty of restaurants and shopping. The owner was very responsive and personable.

We had a lovely week. Ask questions of the owner before you get there if there are things that are very important to you.

A mold and mildew smell greets you the moment you open the door. The whole place needs a very deep cleaning. One of the two showers was rusted. The outdoor furniture was dirty and not usable. The only reason I stayed was because my husband is not well and it is very difficult to move from place to place. An absolute disappointment. The pictures on the site were lovely but I believe they were pics from a better day. Mysteriously enough the pics were updated after our arrival. If you want anything but Roku TV you are out of luck. No cable. I could go on and on.

This space is perfect for families! Three adult couples stayed here, and loved having space for hanging out around the fire after a long day, or being able to make breakfast together in the kitchen. The location is perfect-- a few minute walk to the beach and a very quick drive to the area with all the shops and resturants.
This place feels like you are staying at grandma's cottage. There are loads of knick knacks, books, puzzles, and games. If you want a fancy house with the newest beds, fancy linens, etc., this is not the place for you-- but it isn't wanting to be. If you want a place that feels cozy and is great for a family at a great location and price, this is your home!
One final note-- the owner is incredibly sweet and accomidating. When he learned of a problem with our booking, he went out of his way to make sure we were able to have the stay we desired, despite having a lot going on in his own life. I am sure he will make sure your stay goes off without a hitch.

The property is huge and a perfect location— everything went smoothly and the house was lovely. I will definitely be staying again!

The place is as described. Lots of room for our family to stretch out, and we loved being just a block from a quiet beach. It's dated, although the owner is making improvements. The kitchen has most of what you need; we had to supplement a couple of things for cooking meals but we have special dietary needs. Might not be super safe for the very young or older guests, as the stairs are quite steep.
If you're looking for luxury, this isn't it. But if you want a functional, affordable place for a not-fussy family, this fits the bill!

Location is great! Right on the beach and short walk to town. Lots of space for a large family. Kitchen also very spacious and very well equipped.

We had really great time!
Our family loved staying at Sea Breeze Inn. The location is very convenient, 5 minutes walk to the beach, enough room for the whole family. Loved the decor of the antique Inn. Great Russian dolls and other items display. Feels like staying in a historical place. And the owner is the sweetest person ever. We'll definitely be coming again. Thanks!
