This home has everything you need to enjoy a family vacation. The property was spacious and level for those that have difficulty walking up or down steep inclines. The home was very clean and comfortable. The whole family enjoyed swimming, fishing, and boating on beautiful lake Chatuge. The property manager did an excellent job making sure we had everything we needed as always! (We've stayed at other properties managed by Chatuge Home Concierge) If your looking for the perfect family getaway, this is the home your looking for!

This rental is a dream! It is incredibly spacious - even more so than the pictures show - and well equipped. The location can’t be beat to go into town or cruise around the lake. My family had a fabulous time and can’t wait to return!

The house is nice. When we arrived the cleaning woman was leaving and said that someone would come by and get the garbage from the previous renters. That never happened. My guests made a comment about the amount of garbage in the driveway as they pulled up. We had to look at it the whole week. The exterior of the house is covered in spider webs and is in need of some repair and cleaning.
The inside was clean and well equipped. There are places where the floors are warped/sloped.
Our biggest issue is the dock. We were expecting to be able to utilize the dock with a boat and that is not the case. The water is way too low.
Also, I tried emailing the property manager a few times about the garage and the dock access but never received a reply.

The inside of the house was very comfortable to stay in and clean. It was well stocked and my family of 6 with young kids and grandparents enjoyed the stay. The backyard is large and the hot tub was wonderful. The outside of the house and the dock does need a little extra tlc. The hosts were very hospitable and helpful with anything we needed! Would definitely recommend and stay again. Love Lake Chatuge!

The view was amazing!! Our overall stay was great. Perfect location to everything. The inside of the house was very clean and spacious. We had no shortage of sitting areas and porches to relax and enjoy the views. Again, the views were amazing!!! We had everything we needed. We would stay here again.
The only suggestions I would make to the management company would be to give the outside of home some TLC. We had tons of spider webs and 6 huge live wasp nests on front and back doors/porches we had to deal with, which could had been bad if someone was allergic to wasp stings, fortunately we did not have that issue but someone else could, however, we understand outside elements and did not mind. Also none of the dock lights worked, grass has grown up all over burn pit area, with ant beds but again, we understand outside elements. Also the dock could use a little TLC as well, especially related to the rails. Also, Im not sure if anyone told you the bathtub jets did not work in the master bathroom.

One of the few times that the place far exceeded what the photos portrayed

We had the absolute best time on Lake Chatuge. The house was perfect, kid and adult friendly, and an easy, flat walk down to the dock (which is not always easy to find when staying lakeside). We will most definitely rent this house again, that is if we don’t find a lake-house on our own sooner than later😉
