We absolutely loved our stay at this cottage. The cottage was even better than we anticipated. It’s spacious, comfortable and well stocked. We ended up making breakfast everyday and dinner two of our four nights at the cottage because we found it so relaxing. The weather was excellent, so we were able to enjoy the field and mountain views from the deck. We travel a lot and the Cottage at Dry Creek is one of the best places we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying. If you’re looking for a private and homey place to stay near Denali National Park, be sure to book here.

The cottage was clean, comfortable, well laid out, and had everything we needed for our stay. It was clear the hosts cared about the satisfaction of their guests.
The cottage was also a great alternative to staying in a local hotel. No noisy crowds or crowded restaurants. Just a nice quiet space of our own.
Thanks to the hosts

We stayed here for 5 nights, and it was the icing on the cake! On top of the beautiful view and the quiet area of where our cabin was located, the hosts thought of everything! We came in to a spotless cottage with everything we needed for our stay. Everything from the basic necessities, to a full array of cleaning/ laundry supplies, some basic food necessities for our stay, they even had bear and bug spray for our hikes around Denali National Park! The kitchen had everything you would need to cook some great meals! Honestly would not hesitate to stay again! The cabin was definitely one of the highlights to our honeymoon in the beautiful state of Alaska!

We had a wonderful stay at Cottage at Dry Creek! Our host, David, responded right away to lend a hand when needed. The cabin is just as pictured, and the views right off the back porch were amazing! Everything we needed was provided, from a fully stocked kitchen to plenty of towels to hiking supplies. (Caveat: in the winter months almost everything in Healy is closed.) We enjoyed the short drive to Denali and explored the part of the park that was open in the winter. I'm old so we did the short and easy hikes lol. We can't say enough about the beauty of the location or the responsiveness of our hosts when we reached out. Would love to stay here again!

This is one of the best places we’ve stayed! The cottage was very clean. There were lots of amenities that we didn’t have to bring with us: bathroom tissue, shower essentials and other extras. David and Shannon left us cream and butter in the fridge and the kitchen was stocked with lots of spices and other essentials. It really did feel like home away from home! We’ll be back for sure! Thank you!

My husband and I truly enjoy our stay in the charming tiny cabin that fits perfectly with the charm of Talkeetna. It was clean, cozy and stocked with everything that you could need and more. Communication with host was easy and we appreciate their genuine willingness to do whatever needed to make our stay pleasant. Make sure to take the hike down to fish lake and plan time for an adult beverage at the nearby Denali Brewing.

Everything was great for our stay - very nice accommodations, well-maintained, extremely clean, very friendly hosts, great view, extensive amenities, ... The hosts (David and Shannon) thought of everything a guest would need for the stay and activities in the area and provided all that was practical. The hosts were the best we have ever interacted with. They went out of their way to check with us to ensure that our needs were addressed, including recommendations for dinner and activities in the area and many other helpful insights.
The location was great. Both Cottages look out towards open land and mountains. We were fortunate to have a mother moose and her young moose visit in the morning. It was a wonderful sight as the sun was rising over the mountain. We also were able to experience the Aurora right from the porch of the cottage. And the cottages are only about a 10-minute drive from Denali National Park.
We had a wonderful stay and plan to come back at some time in the future.

The owners were very nice and accommodating. This cottage was just as described and a perfect location for our time in the Denali area. It’s a short drive to the park with a restaurant and grocery store very close by. Extremely clean, well appointed and stocked with everything you could need. Love the labels….sure makes finding everything easy!

We stayed two nights and loved it. The cabin is only 15 minutes from the park entrance and near food and supplies. Yet it is off the beaten and noisy path and peaceful. We enjoyed the view of the woods while we had breakfast and the interior of the cabin is beautiful. It's well furnished and the kitchen had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this cabin as the ideal place to stay while visiting Denali.

We enjoyed this property immensely! It is a quiet cabin in the woods near Denali National Park. The cabin itself has very modern, streamlined decor. The kitchen is stocked well with spices you might need, pots, pans, and plenty of dishes. There are lots of little extras, like Ziplock bags, that are helpful. There is a washer and dryer, which was super convenient for us. The hosts do a great job with the check-in process. They responded quickly to a couple of questions I had. If you’re looking for a quiet, convenient place to stay to explore the Denali area, I highly recommend this great, peaceful cabin in the woods.

We stayed at Dry Creek Cottage #2 for 5 nights in August 2023. It was the perfect size for my husband and I and conveniently located to Healy's grocery store, gas and 49th State Brewery, a great dining venue. Every detail from kitchen needs to the bathroom needs is included. The back covered deck was a great solace when weather permitted outdoor R&R. We were even fortunate enough to see a momma moose and her 2 babies while leaving the area one morning. Owners are great in communicating and you cant go wrong with selecting this cabin...just 13 miles from the national park entrance too!

We had a great week. The cabin was completely modern and very well done. Yet stuck next to the wilds of the Alaska landscape.
Our host was very responsive and had lots of notes to help us out. The cabin was also very stocked on a number of items. Really enjoyed it.

Very likely that this was the nicest of all the places I’ve stayed! Very well organized and stocked, top of the line amenities, outstanding location 20 min from Denali, 5 min to 49th State Brewing. Very peaceful and quiet! Excellent directions and communication!

We absolutely loved this little cottage. It's modern, it's clean, all new appliances, amazing huge screen HDTV, wonderful porch deck, extremely comfortable bed, gorgeous kitchen, washer and dryer, etc., etc. There's really nothing they didn't think of.
But I think what we liked most was just how quiet and peaceful it was there, and how much we felt like we were truly immersed in Alaska. I also felt like the owners went above and beyond in communicating with us and providing details about every amenity in the cottage, as well as recommendations on surrounding sites to see.
Shannon and David have really done a super job of creating a wonderful experience for their guests. We had the time of our lives here. We will definitely be back!! Thank you Shannon and David.

We had a wonderful stay in this cabin in the woods. Perfect location for what we had planned in Denali. Beautiful picturesque views. Very clean. Had everything we needed. Only thing is we wished we could have blocked out the sunlight at bedtime. We are used to pitch dark sleep so took some getting used to. Otherwise stellar rental!

We have stayed in many VRBOs, but this one was truly fully stocked! The view out the back was beautiful and the location was close to Denali National park. The owner was very quick to reply. We will definitely recommend this cottage to friends and family, plus there is a 2 bedroom cottage if you have a larger group.

This house was immaculate and had everything you need and then some. It is only 10-15 minutes from Denali National Park, so close by but not in the hubbub of everything. Great place!

This was a beautiful well kept cottage. Everything in it was of the highest quality and in excellent condition. The kitchen was well stocked with all the right cooking equipment. Thanks for the tea it was much appreciated. Not everyone drinks coffee :). We thoroughly enjoyed our early morning breafasts on the porch overlooking the mountains. The proximity to excursions and the park was perfect. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us.

The cabin is located just 15 minutes from the park and in a very quiet area. David and Shannon were very attentive and provided all the essentials you would need for a multi day stay (coffee, spices, condiments, shampoo, etc.). We definitely recommend staying here.

The home was immaculate and very well appointed. David was thorough with the instructions for getting to and inside the house, and he very quick to welcome us by phone, even though he was in Hawaii at the time! When I asked him if I might be able to find a certain supply in the home (totally unrelated to the home or our stay in it), he volunteered to have someone bring it to us. Very accommodating, even when it was not at all his responsibility! I would stay there again, for sure.
