very well equipped home with water views, lovely deck. 3 bedrooms and 3 baths with enough living space for 6 guests. quiet neighborhood; just 2 blocks to a rocky beach with a sandy beach nearby. gorgeous Pemaquid Point and Lighthouse is just 5 minutes away; twenty minutes from Damerascotta and shopping.

This is a great home with lots of room, natural light, comfortable bedrooms and a back deck we'd spend hours on in the evenings. Having a full bedroom and bathroom on the first floor and the two bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs also gave everyone privacy and downtime.
The area is really quiet and walking distance from a path that runs alongside the water.
The home is comfortable and roomy enough that being rained in for a day is no problem, and getting out to surrounding places is easy.

Very nice location. Nice place. However the weeds need to be pulled outside by the garage.

It was a comfortable, quiet, nicely furnished home that met all our needs! Enjoyed the beautiful beach walk at the end of the street. Perfect for our family vacation!

The proximity to our activities and space for our family was perfect.

I am very familiar with the area having spent many vacations in Bristol, New Harbor and Pemaquid Point since I was a little girl. I am in my 70's and retired. My family, siblings, nieces and nephew love coming to Maine, and rent their own homes. This year my niece got married locally and the reception was held at the Contented Sole. Pemaquid Place is a year-round home. Very comfortable and quiet. Updated with tile floors and nice bathrooms. Mini-splits in several rooms. Beautiful furnishings. Well-equipped kitchen, gas grill, nice outdoor furniture. Easy access to a private beach but the Beach Pass to the local Pemaquid Beach was awesome. Sheets and Towels provided. No issues with WiFi. Would highly recommend this place and hope to return again in the future.

We just got back home from a weekend stay. It was rainy and cold in Maine, but it didn’t dampen our stay. It was a convenient and quiet location. The house was just as pictured and had everything we needed for our stay. Lots of helpful notes around with instructions where needed. We had read all of the reviews before booking but didn’t experience any of the issues others had mentioned. So we would highly recommend booking and look forward to coming back again ourselves.

Quiet and relaxing property

This property is great. The location is perfect, everything was clean, and everything was functioning appropriately. The backyard is beautiful. If you’re staying for several days I would recommend bringing some extra towels and face clothes as there was only one for each guest. Overall we had a great time and can’t wait to stay again!

It is a very nice house. Excellent views from back porch and nice little beach at the end of the street. Only complaints were the beds were not very comfortable, especially for people with bad backs and the water smelled like rust and had a very yellow tint. The floors were not cleaned very well, infant who was crawling hands and feet were filthy with in 20 minutes of being there.

Comfortable home with everything we needed. We hated to leave!

House was well outfitted and comfy beds. The beach down the street was very nice. Good walking distance to lighthouse.

A nice house, bathrooms are a bit dated with one toilet not working at all (a maintenance guy was there fixing it when we arrived) but we rarely used it as there were three bathrooms in the house. There is a small view of the water, but it is also a 3 minute walk from the house to a private (rocky) beach. There are some picnic tables / benches there that you can go to by the beach. Rooms were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked. My only small complaint was that their trash bin is uncovered so we kept having to move the bin onto the kitchen counter away from kids prying hands :)

Overall the house felt bigger than the photos. Clean, steps away from the water, and a 2 minute drive to a lighthouse. Only Downside is the lack of towels but other than that impressed with the quality of our stay.

Beautiful, secluded, everything was well taken care of. It's close to Rileys (the grocery shop) it's right down the road from the point (Pemequid Lighthouse). There's a communal parking spot literally down the end of the road with beach access, makes for a beautiful early morning stroll. Not alot of traffic and is perfect for the family. The house has internet along with access to the top 3 streaming services for the kids. We went on the off season so it was cold and not alot of businesses open but that doesn't take away from the house and I knew before making the reservation nothing would be open. During the on season if you're looking for a place to rent, definitely rent here. New Harbor is one of a kind and worth every minute and Vacasa as a service is great!! So win win

We’ve been to Maine several times and this is one of the best places we’ve stayed. The house seems to be a combination of an older home with some newer additions, like the huge living room with cathedral ceiling, and I’m guessing, the garage. It wasn’t a problem for us, but the stairs to the two upstairs bedrooms were quite steep and not senior friendly. Something to keep in mind. That’s where the en-suite is located. The kitchen is small, but who really wants to cook on vacation? There’s a great little diner, Deb’s, right up the road that serves the best breakfast. Also a well stocked grocery in Bristol. The house was all very clean and beautifully decorated. There is a great view of the bay from large windows, and it’s an easy walk to it, as well as down to the lighthouse at Pemaquid. Saw a flock of resident turkeys on two occasions from the windows. The best thing about this place is the location. My only problem with our booking was there were nearly $600.00 worth of “fees” and taxes, none of which was refundable. Cleaning fees, booking fees, damage, etc. It was still more economical and enjoyable than a hotel, and I would love to go back.

It was a beautiful setting and a well stocked kitchen. We spent most of the weekend there visiting with family. We were able to close off the ‘family’ room when our older parents went to sleep in the downstairs bedroom earlier than the rest of us. We would stay there again.

Simple process, nice, very quiet property, beautiful sunsets, easy to get to, but 1-1/2 hours to everywhere.

We’d rate this house one of the best we stayed in and we have rented for over a dozen years.
The house was clean with lots of room to spread out and the rooms had a lot of natural light, and you can see part of the end-of-road-beach from the kitchen, back porch and living room.
The chairs and sofas were comfortable without being too soft – good for reading or watching tv and each room had accessible heat and ac units.
The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of plates, cups, glasses, and tableware. There is also a really nice walking path nearby with wildflowers that runs alongside the water.
Getting into Damariscotta is simple. We had been concerned it was a little too far out for us, but it wasn’t and the local CE Reilly and Sons store is a nice resource that includes good-looking produce and fresh fish.
One caveat – guests should have a direct local contact number prior to arrival. We arrived after 5:00 PM having been on the road for over 7 hours (and it was raining). The entry code for the lock box holding the key was incorrect and the only telephone numbers we had were an 800 number for Vacasa which not able to help us; it was a frustrating experience that included several calls and texts and no follow-up.
We had to contact VRBO to intercede with Vacasa , the umbrella organization, and we finally were connected with its local office after a 90-minutes of trying to get in. The local office was responsive and helpful.
We’d recommend the owners provide a handbook that includes the home’s specific check-out requests and explains where to put recyclables and garbage.
If accessibility is a concern: The first floor includes a full bathroom (tub shower) and a large bedroom, along with the kitchen and living areas. The upstairs includes a master bedroom with en-suite bath (also a tub shower) and a full bathroom with a pedestal shower and room with twin beds.

The house was very clean and setup great! It was decorated lovely, and we felt very much at home. The location was perfect. Very safe and quite neighborhood. The 3 minute walk to a private beach was our favorite! Our family spent hours finding treasures in the tide pools. 5 minute ride to the Pemiquid Lighthouse and close to the state beach. We would definitely stay again!
