We thoroughly enjoyed this property! The porches, the patio, the fire pit… every little nook was perfect.

Nice and cozy! Comfortable bed and everything we needed

This place is exactly what makes Vrbo the best option for accommodation. We had everything we needed and the place had so much character. The front balcony was such a joy to sit and read on in the morning with my cup of coffee. It’s so close to HF proper. My only complaint would be to myself for not staying longer.

Enjoyed our stay at Union Street Carriage House in Bolivar, WV. Convenient to Harper's Ferry and other popular locations! Thoughtfully decorated that doesn't take away from the charm of the house, but still has modern convenience. Only down side was that the washing machine was not in operation at the time of our visit. Cathy and Bryan were prompt answering my questions.

We loved this wonderful house! Perfect for me, my husband, & little dog to escape drywall dust at our home. Very clean & comfortable! Loved the history of this home but updated enough to have everything u need. Wish we could have used the fire pit but it was raining. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved our time at the Union Street Carriage Quarters. It was a great retreat for a quiet New Year’s Eve. The space was decorated beautifully for the holiday; it made our time even more special. Can’t wait to plan another trip here in the future.

Everything was very accurate to the listing! Clean, cozy, good location, nice charm and owner clearly cared about details like decor and setting up a tree inside for Christmas! Would stay here again no doubt! Also it was a 3 min walk to a few good food places and 2 places to go out for a late drink - The Barn and this little coffee shop that turned into dinner + drinks at night.

So much charm in this old carriage house. We stayed two nights and loved all of it! Close to downtown Harpers Ferry and a short drive to Shepards town. Food was great in the area.

Loved that place and area.
The house feels like home being far away from home.
The owners take great care in maintaining the house and paid a lot of attention to details and atmosphere.
You can find small museums, cafe, bars and long trails about a mile away from the house.
Highly recommend. Would love to come back 😊

We had a wonderful time at this location. The location is close to town and trails, owners communicated well when needed. House is small but accommodates party of 4 comfortably.

Nice little property. Old house with a lot of character but with a modern kitchen and bathroom. Nice place to enjoy the Harper's Ferry area.

The quality of historical preservation is well done. This house is a great blend of modern and vintage architecture. We enjoyed the two days spent there and it was our favorite place on our West Virginia trip.

My pal and I stayed at this clean, convenient two-story house during a bike-riding trip in Harpers Ferry. It's small but does have two bedrooms and two baths, so worked well for two people. The house is clean and fairly well-stocked; check-in & check-out was easy; good Wi-Fi and smart TV; and the owners were very communicative. We enjoyed the second-story balcony and delightful back yard (just be careful getting to and from the top of the hill!). The house might present some challenges for people with mobility problems (e.g., the steep, winding steps to the bedrooms; climb to the outdoor fire pit area), but for anyone else it's just fine. Location is excellent: short walk to a bakery, restaurant, wine shop, art gallery, etc., and a 15 to 20-minute walk (or very short bike ride or drive) to the heart of Harpers Ferry. Would definitely stay again.

The property was a nice fusion of old and new- loved the brick floors. The pet inclosure is good for small dogs. Close to restaurants and a short drive to old town Harpers Ferry. Would rent again.

The property was beautiful & the dog run was such a plus. The location was very close to Harper's Ferry as well as some great dog friendly businesses.

This place has a fun, historic vibe but with modern amenities. Pet friendly and thoughtfully designed with a fenced-in pet space - absolutely perfect! The place is charming! There was one small drawback that really did not impact our trip - the stairs to the bedrooms are steep, if you are older, have mobility issues, or have toddlers, then the stairs might be a concern. Kathy the owner is very accommodating and likely has another property that is equally charming and just right for you!

Relaxing Weekend Getaway
The Carriage house was a perfect spot to stay for a weekend away in Harpers Ferry. The location was ideal - just a 3-minute walk to the very quaint and delicious Bolivar restaurants, bakery, cocktail bar, and of course The Barn for live music. It’s about a 1-mile walk to downtown Harpers Ferry. The house is nicely appointed with modern conveniences but still in line with its historical background, and the couch and bed were extremely comfortable. The front deck and back patio were absolutely lovely places to have morning coffee and afternoon beers. We would absolutely stay here again!
