We loved the location of this home. So close to downtown and wineries but feels remote. The hot tub worked great!

This home's listing clearly states that it sleeps 8, in 1 King Bed (2 people),
1 Queen Bed (2 people), 2 Twin Beds (2 people), and 1 Double Bed (2 people).
However, when we arrived, we discovered that the fourth bedroom only had one twin bed. This meant that my 18-year old actually had no place to sleep.
So the first hours of our arrival were very stressful, exchanging a series of texts with the staff who argued and insisted that "The property has five beds, all of which sleep two people each."
When I pointed out that three of the beds were actually twin beds, which slept one person each, and asked if they could at least send over an air mattress, they just replied "that is not possible."
So my husband and I had to share a bed with our 18-year-old.
When a rental listing says that it sleeps 8, this should be accurate and truthful information — and not based on a presumption that a twin bed is suitable for sharing by two people. Maybe if my kids were toddlers, but not when they are 18 and 23 years old.
I'm very upset and disgusted that the information provided was simply false, and that customer service was simply unwilling to admit their mistake and make it right.

Wonderful house and location. It was very private but easy access to wineries and restaurants. We did have a few small issues with things like the door entry system not functioning properly and the firepit gas running out, but overall it was a very nice rental!

We sincerely enjoyed our stay in Kenwood at this incredible home. It is even more quaint and beautiful than the pictures describe. Enjoy morning coffee on the beautiful wrap around patio and a dip in the clean hot tub out back on the cooler evenings. We enjoyed the short walk into town for a stop at some wineries as well as dinner at Palooza (YUM!). The home is very clean and cutely decorated. Property management was quick to help during one hiccup we had with the code not working to get into the home. Otherwise, excellent stay! My only hope would be for a larger sitting area in the living room area.

Lovely stay, comfortable beds, quiet. Perfect place for a relaxing getaway.

The house was generally well appointed. As a tea drinker I always feel slighted when there is no kettle. Some of the pillows are in need of replacement.
Loved the bocce and hot tub.
Great location!
Brochures in tgd house were from 2022 and there were a few cleaning issues, sticky stuff on kitchen floor and used shower cap in the master bath.

The outdoor space was as described.

Overall, this property was near advertised, except for the WiFi. I could not use their WiFi, as the password wouldn't work. I asked the management company for help, they said they would call, but never did. It was incredibly frustrating, where I had to work from another location. So, in summary, great place IF you don't need to be connected. If you do, then I would find another place.

Beautiful property for our group of 7.
Only issue was door lock which we could not figure out and internet. We simply used back door key after property manager gave us access to lock box. We also had data packages on all our phones, so internet was not an issue for our group.
All in all very satisfied with our stay.

This was a beautiful home! Thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. The down side, the Wi-Fi constantly goes out and with no cell service it was a bit nerve wrecking. The other thing, the upstairs bedroom with two beds doesn’t ventilate well so turning on the heater to warm up the main areas of the house turned that room into a sauna! Lastly, the host wasn’t responsive at all. We had a couple questions that went unanswered, which wasn’t the end of the world but still annoying. Also, the trash can in the kitchen is the size of a trash can that belongs in a bathroom. Kind of annoying having to take the trash out all the time. Overall, decent place.

House as described - very nice indoor and outdoor space. Quiet neighborhood yet close to wineries and food in Kenwood. Clean and comfortable beds. Great stay. Only issue was communication with Vacasa. Got pushed plenty of notifications with all necessary information for the stay, but did not receive any response to in App messaging, email, or text questions.

Beautiful home, spacious, well appointed & lovely backyard for relaxing outdoors. Easy location to get too many wineries. We enjoyed dinner at Salt and stone & lunch & wine tasting at VJB’s super close to the home.

Bocce ball court, jacuzzi, nice accommodations, I would stay here again.

PROs: Property located in a very quiet, remote area of Kenwood. Lots of open space inside and out...fire pit, jacuzzi, lots of chill space outside...including bocci ball court.
CONs: really just three items 1) trundle room is really not a room. This is the room next to the master, didvid by a set of sliding barn doors...Zero privacy between the rooms. So think of this as a 3 bedroom place not 4. 2) VRBO+Vacasa integration: Booking was done on VRBO "and" Vacasa. Now you have to sign-on and process rental on both site/app/email. Just adds a lot more layers to the whole transaction//communication process. 3) minor item...a large pile of towels were left in the front family room.
All in all...great place 👍🏽

Perfect for a ladies weekend
We had 6 ladies and this house was perfect. The beds were comfy, plenty of towels for showers and the hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked with basics and a little more. Location is great to visit wineries in Sonoma and Napa. We could walk to a few places nearby. Would stay there again.

It was very cozy, clean and neat. The kitchen has everything. My family love the fire pit.
My families love the fire pit outside where we made smores nightly. Big backyard where our little ones can roam around and play all day and night. Spas was a bonus where the wifey can relax after long a day.

A group of 5 women celebrating friendship and birthdays! We took this trip in December even knowing that it was not peak season. We had a great time! The property is nestled in a quiet area near nice wineries. Love the simple clean Sonoma wine country feel of the house. It was well stocked with the basics you need to get started. Management was right on point and very responsive to addressing our questions before we came and during our stay. We experienced a variety of weather: rain, fog and sun during this time which was unusual for the area but we made the most of it. We spent a week at this stunning retreat! Recommend you give it a try. This was our first trip to Wine Country and we can't wait to come back.

Nice property in convenient and quiet neighborhood. Outdoor space was good especially bocce court. Would consider again for group of 8 with family and kids, but might think twice for 8 adults considering king to queen to twin to trundle ratio.

This was the perfect place to stay with our "adult children" and their spouses while we explored the Sonoma area. Full of wonderful wineries, walking and hiking trails and plenty of good food and shopping. The house was the perfect size for the 8 of us and we enjoyed the wildlife and peace and quiet.

Lovely house for a weekend in wine country!
Lovely house for a weekend in wine country! The house was clean (9/10) and the kitchen was better stocked than I anticipated based on previous reviews. We experienced a leaky kitchen sink and an unrelated power outage the first night and the Turnkey 24/7 assistance team was efficient and helpful in their response. The house is better suited for 6 occupants as the twin bed and trundle off of the Primary Suite were extremely uncomfortable. The Owner should consider upgrading both of these mattresses. The house is equipped with exterior Ring cameras, which is understandable for security, but felt invasive when we were in the hot tub, eating dinner outside and playing bocce. It would be comforting to have this acknowledged in the Welcome email/ book and explain how the cameras are used and monitored. At the time of our stay, Ubers and Lyfts were scarce in Kenwood, so factor that into your plans for getting around in wine country. I would 10/10 recommend this house given the value.

Beware: poor customer relations and experience
We booked a cross country family trip to this property. Our party included 2 doctors, a sales executive, a business owner and a law enforcement officer: we are good conscientious people and were interested in a relaxing weekend for young professionals for a special birthday.
At check in our guests were off of a redeye and already up approaching 24 hours. We arrived and put our custom code in the lockbox only to find that the lockbox doesn’t work. Locked out.
We called the customer service number for the listing and were told “the spare key is in a lockbox attached to a bench.” We scour the property, there is no bench. It takes an hour to convince them of this fact.
They send the “housekeeper” to let me in. 45 minutes later she shows up with her boyfriend, 2 strangers showing up in the dark, with NO ABILITY TO LET US IN. But we had to live in the fear of these 2 strangers on our property in a strange city after dark. She ultimately calls the property manager who is 45 minutes away.
3-4 hours in now. Finally the property manager shows up, refuses to get us a hotel. He tries to upgrade the door technology for a half hour, no success. He calls a locksmith. Locksmith comes an hour later. We finally get in around midnight.
We ended up with a patio door that didn’t fully lock, a dead bolt hole with duct tape, and metal shrapnel from the locksmith on the deck which ended up getting painfully stuck in a guests foot the next day.
So we lost an entire night of our stay, and got no sympathy or restitution from them. I can’t even speak to a corporate representative to tell this story. Hopefully they see this here and feel the need to make this right.
Customer service is nonexistent. Not one call or text the next day “sorry that happened did it work out?” Nothing.
I called the call center to complain they say corporate will get back to you in 1-2 days, and refuse to put me through to corporate, and say they can’t refund us. Rinse and repeat for a full week. Vrbo call center was the same deal. Stonewalling and no ability to help or even speak to someone at corporate.
Overall in my opinion turnkey is Unsafe, heavily outsourced, has no local footprint to help, has no regard for clients- I would stay far away.

Overall, our stay was wonderful and the home had all the amenities needed for a great stay in wine country. The backyard was beautiful and the hot tub, bocce ball court, and seating areas were lovely. The place was spotless and check-in process was super easy. We had a great time here!A few suggestions/points of feedback:1. Timing of lights outside was strange. Just because the “quiet hours” begin after 10pm does not mean we should not be able to have lighting outside after 10pm. It would be nice to be able to control this.2. Blackout shades needed in all bedrooms (some window didn’t have windows dressings, generally). Skylights in bedroom directly over the bed we’re unfortunate as did not have coverings and it was very hard to sleep after the sun rose.3. The propane tank/fire pit did not work. Usually an easy fix, nobody was able to come to our house to help. For the high price of the rental, this feels like a service that should be included.

The house and location was perfect. We own a vineyard in Napa and our GM was getting married in Penngrove. Kenwood was right I. Between the two. The house is ultra charming with everything provided for the guest experience to be exceptional. It would have gotten 5 stars in all categories except for one issue-SPIDERS! Our guests upstairs killed three large spiders and the husband received 5 awful spider bites while sleeping at night! There were no issues in the downstairs..

Rating Details:The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty.I was more than happy with the location.I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.Reviewer Comments:Overall was disappointing for the price. The home had not been deep cleaned in some time with cobwebs, dust and black dirt lines where the carpet met the wall on stairs and in carpeted rooms. Couldn't find the sponges and there were no trash bags. A broken chandelier and sideboard. But worst of all was the smell - strong scent of Tide and Downey EVERYWHERE. My mother in law had to bring her own towels and sheets due to perfume allergies. I am a Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite and this place was is no way up to Marriott standards. And Marriott would not issue points for the stay because I booked through the Property Manager's website. If I had to do it over I would have just booked two hotel rooms at a nice Marriott property for the same price or less.
